It's pretty fun if there aren't too many people and the sub designs aren't shit. Smaller crews mean you can dick around and still get shit done without people flooding the airlock and sinking the ship. A while ago there was a nigger revolt because the captain was trying to force niggers on the away team. A moloch eventually came and smacked the ship into the depths while the away team was waiting for pickup with the recovered artifact. Everyone died, but it was really fun.

This game is p fun if you actually get a chance to play. Not sure if I like the sheer eeze at which the aquatic monsters rip through the hull.

Priorities in a typical SHTF situation:

1. Kill the monster/creature that is attacking the sub.
2. Fix the leaks.
3. Pump the water away.
4. Restore power, fix junction boxes, etc

If you're a medic, ignore everything above.
Just keep people alive.

In some of the preset missions instead of the sandbox or the campaign, there are 'shelves' and seafloors. Generally the missions where you have to pilot the sub through a maze and there are lots of pointy bits on the wall to pierce the hull while lots of small things try to eat their way through the windows and airlocks.

Is it me or does subs need more type of guns? Also the range of sight for guns is so shit, they need a flare shot ammo. How the fuck are you supposed to kill large monsters when they are too close and fuck your shit up? Way too close for a nuke and you can't long range blind fire because of really limited ammo.

Tried to do the tutorial 3 times and each time I get locked out of completing because of some shit bug or another.

I reached the part where I fire the railgun at the creature when it aproaches my ship (which it decided not to do twice).

I could probably mod it to be a little longer, to add more engineering space and give it a longer profile, but since sliding through the water isn't a thing, I was just trying to keep it from being too long, while keeping it safe / semi easy to navigate. I also have lights on the outside because I like to see, and the red stars are the gun ports. I don't have any depth charges, and I wasn't sure sticking the diving port on the bottom, or that it should be mirrored with one on top, but I was worried about that being a flooding hazard, but with how everything is separated / segmented into so many individual cabins, I was hoping that wouldn't hurt

I've seen subs where all the controllers are in 1 single room, so you can change on the fly depending on where the hostile is. This makes it so 1 person can operate all guns, don't have to run around the entire sub.

Yeah, I was going to make it so all the weapons are fired from a single room, all the loading is done in another, and all the munition production is done in a third room.

So you have your fire control center, loading and all that, but all the turrets are controlled from the center Armory/weapons position
