Should I buy this game Holla Forums? Is it comfy?

Its shit

Think paper's please but with no real challenge, worse atmosphere and a degree of weebfaggotry.
OK graphics and music.

bland/10

It's a shit meme game, and "cyberpunk" memers are the fucking worst.

It's not a game. Report for off topic and advertising.

It's good. If you like cute girls doing cute things, this is that but with a lot more edge, what with the loli character being a robot prostitute.

If you want big titty hackers and ponytailed bartenders talking about lewd shit, go for it, I certainly enjoyed it. But it is definitely 100% a VN, don't go in expecting the gameplay elements to be anything an annoying obstacle on the way of more lewd dialogue.

Also the devs are leaning towards SJWs and they live in Venezuela, so do the right thing and don't give them any shekels so you can directly contibute towards their deaths in a shitty place of the world. Pirate it, is what I'm saying.

I doubt anyone's going to defend this but you might be trying a little too hard there, friend.

I stand corrected. Some faggots actually have this shit a taste in "VN's".

How so?

There are references in the game for SJW devs and SJW games, and the tumblr account of the devs constatly reblogs people's "feminist analysis" of this game.

There was also a blog post about how they now know how to make meanigful games for everyone and they want to leave their niche, but that was more vague and omnious than anything.

I just know anyone that associates themselves with Read Only Memories, a game made by the people behind GAYMER CON and that only made the game to shove in as many gay characters and virtue signaling as humanly possible are very suspicious.

Thanks for the warning user. Definitely not going to put money towards cancer incarnate, even if it can make a decent VN.

They made a tumblr blog to promote themselves, they said. All the /agdg/ devs at the time did that, they said. No way they caught tumblrsim, they said.

A good reminder to be suspicious of any future projects hailing from /agdg/ either from here or halfchan. Shit, we might even have sleeper agents here.

They started pandering to tumblr so it will be their first and last game worth a shit if it isn't shit already.

Its made by one of our /agdg/ guys and good for a few cheap laughs but it has next to zero gameplay.

There is no challenge if you have a lick of common sense and pay attention and the only replayability is from getting everyone deliberately smashed.

Not bad for a first attempt but I would not give this more than five bucks.

/agdg/ seems to be a den of cancer

...

not a game
shit
waifu garbage

It's alright, but it's lacking in a lot of areas. A potential story arc is dropped after the first chapter, a character whose context only comes from the Steam demo isn't introduced at all unless you play the demo (though, I think I heard they patched that in?), the amount of sex talk skyrockets the further into the game you go (it didn't bother me personally), and there's some loose ties that feel like a future update or dlc will rectify. Furthermore, their publishers forced them to shill the fuck out of YIIK, though it doesn't really show in the storyline until some bullshit cosplayers darken your doorstep.

In spite of all that, it's a decent game. The writers wrote the characters from a neutral standpoint, treating any of their oddities (genetically engineered human catgirls, child sex robots, mercenaries, etc) as though they were either the norm in their society, or not too out of the ordinary. Because each character isn't trying to push some stupid agenda, they're allowed to develop in a much more natural way throughout the story.

As far as the setting is concerned? Have you ever wanted a look at how bad things in Venezuela are? Venezuelans would know how to write that sort of thing better than anyone else, I'm just a little disappointed that they never covered the toilet paper crisis that's currently plaguing their country.

Music is god-tier. Art is aesthetically pleasing, but it's not for everyone.

The developers encouraged people to pirate it at one point since their cut is laughably small (due in part to Venezuela being a shithole country). Pirate it, and commission the artist to make pornography of the characters so that they can leave their Venezuelan hell.

Post Boss.

You do realise /agdg/ and even /draw/ are the worst attention seeking whores on the chans right? Someone who posts to these means nothing as he is most likely stroking his dick to any other community that heaps him with attention.

YandereDev

I get the "the creator could have put more effort in meme" but this is just a couple guys.

Things are never going to be like the old days of vidya ever again.

They don't make PEOPLE like they used to, so the PEOPLE won make games like they used to.

We need to bring back tradition, fuck off and read Evola.

-Holla Forums

You are an apologist, defeatist and cuck.

Do you like a constant and unending string of memes being spouted at you, along with fairly heavy SJW leanings and no gameplay? If so, the game is for you.

I'm a creator that knows his limits.

You are a child that only knows how to play and critique. A product of the culture of critique that raised you. You only know how to deconstruct. But none of you know how to build or even how difficult and time consuming the act of building can be.

I havent played the game yet, I've bought it. I just get tired of lazy/v/'s "I could have done it better attitude."

Don't faggotsplain to me.

I kek'd

Good to know, although I wouldn't not buy a game just because a developer is a feminist or something. If they don't shove it down people's throats in their games it's good enough for me.

Thanks for the insight

who cares bitch the game still fucking sucks

just another western pretending to make nip games

There is barely any critique for this game.
If anything the devs are in a culture of praise right now.
Nobody would be talking negatively if you had things your way you fucking faggot.

Not really worth the dollars, and all you're doing is paying for the atmosphere, music, and the aesthetics of the game.

Like what said.
A potential story arc was dropped, and there's a lot of sex talk as the game progresses. Some of the humor is lackluster, and the main character of the game that you play as can be a bit jarring at times. However, it's nice that the writers both wrote the characters and the themes revolving around the game in a neutral standpoint.

As for the gameplay, there's really nothing much. All you do is make drinks for customers, save up money for the mc's bills, and buy things for her apartment or some alcohol items for her job.

So at the end of it, pirate the game and use that cash for something else.

Shut up faggot, your shits retarded and your content is dog shit.

It's okay.
Good soundtrack, though.

What's this talk of the writers writing the game from a neutral standpoint? The game going to shit about halfway through is completely foreshadowed by a conversation between stella and costanza about whether or not zaibatsu corp is actually bad.

Stella throughout the conversation is shown to be a perfect debater who is calm and willing to admit to any flaws to her argument while Costanza is shown as a baby. ("Let's get a drink for the baby") The whole conversation is just one of those shitty mspaint comics with MY SIDE and THEIR SIDE.

The worst part? Stella is shilling for zaibatsu corp as the game portrays her as in the right. The corporation whose corruption is responsible for Sei, her best friend, being hunted down like a dog. Something that is happening while they're having the conversation AND she knows that it's happening. So not only is that an argument she'd never be making were she written well but the game actually goes out of its way to portray her as correct.

He was also shown to make valid arguments that Stella was willing to concede to, and she wasn't entirely wrong in saying that the downsides of their involvement with the community at large was outweighed by the benefits they provided to society. She was not portrayed as "correct," just more level headed in accepting that she could be wrong.

Costanza was a cheapskate, anyway. Couldn't even afford the cheapest drink on the menu without breaking a sweat.

The point in that discussion wasn't whether corporations were good or not, but rather about how justified your reasons in hating corporations are. Everyone knows corporations suck, but one man by himself can't do anything about it. Corporations in the game are rather treated like some kind of shitty government rather than a cartoonishly evil organization. This is later (or earlier? I forgot) established more firmly when the Kanji ripoff guy mentions how a bunch of kids passing him by intended to take down a corporation by just killing the CEO, as Kanji and Jill remark those stupid kids are playing too much videogames.

Corporations aren't treated like a godsend or absolute evil, but the conversation between Constanza and Stella served to remind us that as most people today believe the latter.

Making one side of the argument look like an irrational idiot is 100% portraying the other side as correct. Though I can understand where you're coming from. Maybe I just look at too many shitty political cartoons.

Everyone in the city except for a few live in shit conditions because of the corporations seems like a pretty convincing argument for the corporations being shit to me. Considering Stella concedes the entire argument I don't really see how the conversation shows people hating corporations for the wrong reasons.

No.
What the fuck was the point of that shit? This didn't feel cyberpunk at all.
Wasted potential. Music is good, but that's it.

Dude, come on, it's like you never saw pundits in action.

Jesus Christ, dude.

Interesting thing to note here is that later on Stella talks about how she likes poor people more than rich people and this is backed up by the bit of backstory about her meeting Sei in a park in a poor party of the city. So she's not emotionally disconnected from poverty and cares a lot for poor people. This completely contradicts how Stella acts in the earlier parts of the story including the conversation we're talking about.

It's almost like the writing is shit.

Why is everyone like this now? Is it just the millennials?

Even though she acknowledges that the Zaibatsu Corporation is scummy, she's in a position where she gets to experience the benefits of Zaibatsu's actions, rather than the detriments. Of course she's going to jump to Zaibatsu Corps' defense when someone badmouths them, that doesn't mean she doesn't care about people in a lower class than herself. She also wholeheartedly believes in the idea that the advancements they invent will trickle down to lower class society, given enough time.

That would make sense if the entire city wasn't in anarchy at the moment because everyone is fed up with zaibatsu corp's corruption. Now that I think about it I don't remember that mentioned at all during the entire conversation. Maybe it was meant to happen on an entirely different day. Maybe not on the day where Stella's entire argument makes no sense whatsoever.

It's also worth pointing out that foreign intervention is what brings zaibatsu corp back into power and we never see any consequences of the anarchy or the foreign intervention.

To be honest, if just for the sake of being contrarian, I love how actually someone defends a corporation in cyberpunk. Usually it's just everyone shitting on them 24/7 aside from the big bad CEO who is all DUDE, PROFIT LMAO. Makes you wonder how the hell do they even stay in power.

It's refreshing, seeing that maybe, maybe the corps actually have some paper-thin benefits that make people have second thoughts and not rise to arms.

It's ok. It's more of a VN than a game. I can't tell if the devs are SJW's are not, because one second they're praising an article complaining about homophobia, misogyny, and "waifu culture", and the next sharing fanart of the characters playing with their tits. I haven't finished the game yet, but I'm a few chapters in and I haven't seen anything pushing any agendas either. The characters are pretty interesting and so is the very light amount of story they give you, but don't expect the bartending gameplay to be utilized much at all. You mix a drink every now and then, but you never have to do it quickly and there's no real challenge.

Trust me, this thing is BLATANTLY SJW.
Granted, I think the world and characters still survive the cuckening, so it's not too much of an insult. Still, prepare for characters to OCCASIONALLY lecture you on 20XX identity politics.

Are you telling me that normally there aren't any alternative gender identity politics in a cyberpunk dystopian society where extensive body modification is possible?

...

The game is really weird. It shits on SJWs but at the same time pushes some of the shit they push.

For instance the game name drops SJWs in a way that seems to be shitting on them early on then later develops the character who was shitting on them to be tumblr's stereotypical evil male. They also make a jab saying that women who like guns just want dick.

I'm pretty positive this clash comes from catering to Holla Forums and tumblr at the same time but I didn't really follow the development of the game so I'm not too sure.

That's what I'm getting at: they are excessively focused on SJW bullshit the way Deus Ex NPCs are excessively focused on politics. It sounds a bit weird, but helps move the narrative along.

jej

Both are shit. And Marx is not even one iota better than Evola, with his historical revisionism disguised as "science".
