Anyway the game is OK to me. Better than Shinovi Versus combat wise along with having much better level design and some actually challenging fights. Also actually boss fights too though only the later ones are more fun. The combat has a good emphasis on momentum based gameplay that rewards you for chaining a bunch of chase attacks that cause you to carry several people in the air all over the place. Do well enough and you'll start doing 300% damage. Using this I was able to OHKO another character which was very satisfying.

You can't guard and this game's dodge is much less for mobility unlike SK. In this, timing your dodges right fills meter for transforming and using supers. Supers in this game are much more devastating but take longer to charge up. With your level 3 most likely OHKO human bosses. Also transforming has more value than the SK games because you have 4 different versions of transforming. The higher the transformation, the more of your upgraded moveset is unlocked and you get access to better supers. Lv4 transformation is like going SSJ4 and your character looks like some scantily clad Hyper Dimension Neptune goddess. That's unlocked late game though.

The lewd factor takes a step forward and back at the same time. On one end, you get a good variety of panties and other things sucks as daisy-dukes. Yet for some reason they're only counted as panties so you can't go into battle only wearing that. Another is unlocking character's alternate stuff is done so by molesting the shit out of them in the dressing room. This gets old really fast and overall isn't that fun. Then you get a minigame where you touch hearts, though it's meant to apply you're touching their sweet spots. Again, that gets boring too. They could have definitely gone a better way to unlocking uniforms. Or hell, give us a costume editor for one. Not everyone's costumes can go on everyone either. Some characters have to wear them without sleaves or other small things.

Can't say much about the story because I played it in moon. Mana's "Ara ara"s make my dick hard and the lewd shop-keep should have been a playable character. The tits could definitely use more variety in sizes but the thighs are on point.

TL:DR - Thick Thighs/10. Would buy at a much lower price.

Having actually played the game, I liked VD better than EV. I much prefer the faster paced, dodge based combat, and it felt like there was more variety with the girls' play styles compared to EV. Senran mops the floor with VD in dress up, though.

No. I didn't say that. I was comparing it to Estival Versus, and I feel like VD is the superior game. On top of what I mentioned in my last post, Valkyrie Drive has levels that dwarf those in Estival Versus, the enemy variety is much better (particularly the larger, boss type enemies), and VD is more challenging in general. Other people might prefer EV's parrying system, so it's understandable that those people would prefer EV.

I didn't compare VD to SV, either. I compared it to EV, and yes, the dodging is much more similar to Bayonetta than to the parrying found in Senran. This creates a faster transition from defensive to offensive maneuvers, and in turn increases the pace of battle. Perfect "bullet time" dodges also add to your syncho meter (think the shinobi scrolls), speeding up the process of reaching higher drive levels.

Also, imagine if each mission let you pick two girls, and your choice of girls had a tangible effect on gameplay. For example, Ranka gives a negligable HP boost, high damage boost, and negligable defense boost. This makes playing with her as your exter a glass cannon scenario. Go with Koharu or Momo, on the other hand, and you can take hits much better, but you don't do as much damage.
