I asked about how to cut tails with the bowgun in the last thread. I still cant do it. I'll shoot the royal ludroths tail until its almost limping and then i use slicing shots and the tail still doesn't come off. Any help?

Shooting the tail with non-slicing damage does not contribute in any way, shape, or form to cutting the tail off. Bowguns and slicing shot are garbage. You're better off switching to a blade or spending 15 minutes tossing boomerangs like a cock.

In the last thread two people said something about having to lower the tails health and then if the last shot has slicing damage the tail will come off.

Only slicing damage will lower the health bar of the tail. Only the last hit mattering is complete nonsense.

That's what I've done with 4U and 3U as well. I don't have any source of income at the moment and never made a comment because I didn't think about it at the time. Considering most of what I have on 3ds is digital it won't be too big of an issue, aside from stupid ass mistakes being a possibility like popping the cart in the middle of playing or shit of that sort.
