FANTASTIC game, and the developers honestly pay a lot of attention to the game balance and who plays what character, and what that character's win:lose ratio is. The game has changed tremendously since launch, I'd say it's way more fast-paced and fun now.

that's fine, but you have a large selection of mythological creature names to choose from, the selections should be based at least partly on their appearance or what they can do.

Gorgon should apply to anything that looks somewhat snake/medusa-like, and has various crowd control/lockdown/paralyze abilities. The Wraith would be much better named a Gorgon or a Kraken, for example, based solely on appearance.

Goliath should be huge and tanky
Behemoth same thing (basically same words)
Kraken should have tentacles or some sea monster aesthetic, etc.

1. Match making is shit. It hangs there awkwardly when you have 5 people. Also the class choosing it retarded. It's my first game ever I do not want to be the fucking monster. Also has anybody complained about the other team seeing which moster youre playing? That's nonsense it should be hidden until they see it in game.

2.The kikery is out of control. They have reskins if the same monster, but they are an upgraded version and cost more. See "Meteor Golith"

3. The game play is shit. You walk around for 3 minutes chasing the moster, you get an automatic notification when the monster upgrades, which is bullshit. When you see the monster you dome it and hope for the best, which isn't much.

Whatever, it's free. Ill give it another go tonight. I have no idea how people have over 100 hours logged.

I've noticed this. I played a match against a gorgon and was expecting to be ambushed by a spider monster crawling on the ceilings but instead it's just the default monster with a few different attacks.

Add to that the fact that she can take people out of the fight with the spiderlings and you have an effective combat monster. I have yet to lose a game as Gorgon. The movement ability is top notch too, so gapclosing is easy.

A good Wraith player can fuck you up badly too, if they actually know how to separate people and aim. Wraith is one of the hardest to catch.

I do agree that the planet scanner is bullshit though, but I've managed to work a way around and still win consistently as monster.

And yet the playerbase kept increasing as the weekend progressed? To the point where Sunday it got double the amount of CCU than its first launch? Yes it is still early and we have yet to see the falloff after the excitement wore off but there is still the fact that from the day it went f2p the userbase has only skyrocketed further with each passing day.

They had a choice - keep the game the way it was upon release that made everyone drop it immediately or casualize it so it is easier for people to get into. Word of mouth got out and there was a steady income of new players.

Mind it is not even casualized enough - newbie hunters are still getting demolished by monsters because they don't know how to fight as a team. Point is they altered the game so it is easier and there is less downtime for chasing the monster which was the thing people complained the most about - the game was all about running around the map in a wild goose chase - and it worked. So far at least.

I'm using 0013/1033/3033 which seems to be working so far.

Just got out of a game where Wraith clipped into the terrain and was trapped.

Wraiths feel like they're insanely OP, I think no matter what you're going to be fine
