When you start acting as though they are a reason as to why digimon is good (style) instead of any reason be it in its games or general performance as anything more than a hatred of life development tool (substance) then yes I have a problem.
Dinosaurs and guns don't make something good, they may make it look cool but without anything solid beyond that backing them up it's just a cool idea.
Same with the waifumons.
Closest to that is the digimon world v-pet style of games but they are ass-dick.

Every single time anyone says the most minute criticism of the game this is always the response.
No, it's because I always got numemon, numemon was one of the hardest digimon to get for me as it involves doing nothing but pissong away time.
The reasons I dislike the world games, at least the first, re-digitize, and a decode, are:
Slow combat.
Learning techniques being concentrated evil.
Just the actual time from your life you have to spend to get anything done, unlike good games with time management like harvest moon (rip).
Also it was boring not controlling the monster which only leads back to the first point (decode fixes this somewhat by making your digimon more responsive so it's the only one I've had some fun with, but its problems are the shitty railroad plot and forced characters which re digitize already had).

Probably for the best. Power levels get absolutely retarded when a combat-centric series runs on for too long - and it's happened with Digimon when previous animation teams have tried to outdo the seasons before them in terms of scale.

I'd rather have a do-over if it means the animation and concept teams get more creative control over whatever it is they're trying to present. The first time it's happened, we got Digimon Tamers.

There's a difference between posting porn and posting furry, same as not liking spending your whamon's whole life trying to learn ice statue to only learn one other shitty water attack.
I also never said anything about not liking the evolutions and while at first the digimon's life span is annoying it soon becomes a welcome event as you can raise a new one. In redigitize this can lead you to resent your digimon for living so damn long as they are really easy to max out.

I didn't say frustrating, I said tedious. Grinding in an MMO is relaxing and easy, but it doesn't make it any less of a chore.

The raising sim aspects is an acquired taste, it's just not for everybody.
