The Adventures of Cookie and Cream

Came in to post this.

Either that or Rampage

There will never be a single best. But there's more than a few worthy titles. Golden Axe, Final Fight, Double Dragon on SMS, Shadow Over Mystara, Dragons Crown.

Resident Evil 5

Seconding this. Most two player arcade games make for good co-op when emulated as well.

Real Friends Simulator

Doubles matches in Smash Bros Melee.

Castle Crashers

Captain Commando

World of Warcraft. I mean ya most of the game sucked, but early on there were a few raid encounters that took 40/25 players to their limit to beat. Fights like 4H, Muru, Sarth3D, Firefighter and Yogg0 were amazing and required coordination and personal skills to beat. It was a lot of fun to play with others and overcome those challenges as a group.

Secret Of Mana.

No need for further posts ITT.

What other fighting games let two players go against the machine?

WoW is great for co-op in general. Whether doing PVE content or just walking the land doing whatever. It baffles my mind how people compare shit like FFXIV to it when you can't even stay in the same party forever due to MSQ instanced shit.

I really loved playing SWAT 4 back in the day.

Fuck off, normalfag

Street Fighter Alpha lets you have DRAMATIC BATTLE.
