I wished they focused on the only part of the game worth playing instead of adding in all this pointless stupid shit.

Warframe started as a fun concept that turned into a bad game because it was created by bad developers and had freemium shit piled on top of it. If you want to waste your life away "playing" a RNG grinder, you can arguably get a better experience from one of those stupid mobile grinding games like Granblue Fantasy.

The reason why warframe sucks is that they keep piling on more unfinished shit rather than just developing what's there, and anything "fun" is removed because the developers get pissy about someone daring to point out their shit(see: forum posts being edited. I'm sure someone has that image)

Missions are godawful repetitive trash? Why, add more endless missions!
The maps in the game are not made for the movement system the game has? Gimp movement. Fuck, they'll make us only sprint everywhere if they get pissed about just the concept of fast.

No matter how much you want it to, no matter how many events Warbros is #1 in or how hard you convince yourself that jerking off to Mesa for the umpteenth time is worth it, the game will never improve, it will never be fun, it will never be worth a shit and DE will forever be shit unless a competitor comes out and it's actually good, and that would force DE to either step up or die in the prcoess and either way there might be a good game for people to play

The war within update coming in July is supposed to be the next big story mission with a teaser in this update I think. We'll finally meet the Grineer queens 5$ one's hot the other's not

Kavats are coming which could mean some improvements to the Kubrow and pet companion system. (probably not)
Archwing is getting full 6 degrees of movement and isn't going to be fixed to a specific plane anymore, so it's more like a flight sim now.
The Starmap rework is coming which will mean we will play on tiles and places which don't usually get much attention. The new way the void works will have us playing on different planets rather then in the same places over and over again.

I have some hope that the devs will get there…eventually.

The hate for this game often comes from old players, which is curious to me. I just hit the 100day mark, and I'm enjoying the game a lot thus far, so I'd like to know what changes where made that you guys didn't like so much.

For me, it's biggest present problems are some bugs that thankfully don't happen so often. The grinding gets tedious if I'm doing a mission type I don't like, but otherwise it's alright. It's grindy but at least I'm having some fun.

The only real problem with WF is the lack of actual content.
Yes it has shitton of frames and weapons, but all levels are the same, there is about two functionally different mission types - kill shit and platforming puzzle, and while people complain about the grind, actually getting whatever you want is extrememly easy and fast.
I got these babies in two evenings, half of the parts dropped for me, and another half I bought by selling shit that dropped for me, but I didn't want.

You burn through stuff in there extremely fast, and then left with nothing to do.
Which is a shame, after 3+ years of development you'd expect game to be much bigger than this.

given the dev team's repertoire, I don't think anyone at DE even has any idea how to develop this game significantly from it's core.

they don't know how to make an action game, or even action in the context of their own game. for example, the stradavar a recently released lmg, could switch to a semi auto mode with increased crit in-game, was made without considering that their weapon modification system makes it so you can really only build for either crit, or full auto straight damage, rendering the gun's gimmick utterly useless, and the weapon subpar in a sea of shit.

the kicker, it can't even be misconstrued as a starter/mid-game weapon, it has somewhat horrible crafting requirements for anyone who hasn't been playing regularly and a high level requirement, that locks it from construction by new players to begin with. it's likely intentional too, since they still haven't fixed it.

DE will continue to kill fun in this game at a painful pace with their backwards design philosophy, malicious behaviour, and general incompetence.

How strong is their shitter playerbase? can they reliably fall back on it if a actually good game comes along and becomes the only sane choice regarding fast, possibly space ninja tps action?

their horrible sense of game development will shine through despite competition, which will only serve as a contrast to their all grind no game design and hopefully produce salt from the stupid remnant who refuses to acknowledge DE for retarded kikes they really are.

I just hope that something comes along soon, and that DE effectively spergs as hard as possible against a legitimate competitor.

Anytime there's new gameplay elements they're complete ass or they last for half a level with the rest being standard game modes, usually the very long ones, with exposition crammed in. That coupled with spray n pray weapons being the only viable strategy Only exceptions being maybe the Hek and Paris Prime

I had legit fun in every single one of those hours, even messing around auction house and selling shit from the Void.

Game sets out to make player an edgy Power Ranger, and succeeds in doing so gloriously. It's like expecting from some 3rd party genesis beat em up to have scale and complexity of SMT game.
This not MMO, not RPG, not an AAA product, it's a fucking indie beat em up with shiny graphics.

That's a weird way to judge the replayability of a game. If there's any type of game that requires a lot of content and replayability it's F2P ones that don't earn a large amount of cash up front, but has to keep the playerbase alive for them to spend smaller amounts over a larger period of time.

Killing things in intense ways is fun.
Getting something out of it is fun too.
Even if the game was buy-to-play, it would still be popular as shit.
Why do you think monhun is so overwhelmingly popular despite its low production values? Because it does the most important part right - killing shit in fun way.

In warfarme you're never done, there is always some rare ass mod you need for a particular situation with a particular frame, that you're gonna be using on the same mobs in the same leves as you did a fucking year ago. And they keep shitting those out without adding real content.

The helicopter exploit was basically a movement mechanic and they knew about it for ages. Additionally nearly every big clan did exploits to boost their score during events. Warbros were just the most autistic ones and that's why we won. We weren't some mythical hacking group that blew up vans.

The clan even got along well with DE for the longest time. The lead programmer was in our chat and we reported bugs to him, which (SURPRISE SURPRISE) they rarely if ever fucking got to.

It's pretty sad that I'm recently enjoying mobile grind-fests than I ever did warframe.

It takes less than hour to get all parts for your regular frame or weapon.
It might take a few days to get all parts for something like Nekros or Chroma or common prime item.
And getting some rare prime thing or frame can get you up to a week, maybe more.

All of the above assuming you play for 3-4 hours a day.

Of course there are things that are legit hard to quire - turbo rare mods, or some event items, but that's kinda the point for them.

Yes shit takes days to built once you assembled it, but parts themselves are piss easy to acquire.

I literally only ever paid for prime cosmetics, because you can't buy those with plat, and plat is super easy to amass selling prime shit from void missions.

I don't know what the fuck is wrong with me when it comes to warfarm. I really do have nothing better to do but sit on my ass, ignore my backlog and play this PoS game. I have all the kubrows except one, and the only reason I don't have it yet is because I don't want it, it's even more useless than other kubrows due to the terrible AI and lack of commands you can give them. There's very few actually viable weapons for end-game shit, which always ends up being entirely dependent on crits, the Tonkor being easily the most popular weapon in the game right now, there's next to no reason to use anything else because of how underpowered and underwhelming it all is. The only redeeming aspect of the game, in my mind are the frames themselves, which are basically just there to make you grind more. Overall, in my opinion it's a much grindier version of Pokemon, in that the only real reason for me to keep playing is to collect them all. Mag Prime, Boar Prime, and Dakra Prime, are all currently out of the Vault, and I don't have the heart to go get them because I'm too busy testing pic related, one of the most interesting frames they've added IMO. In case you don't know, Chroma's damage and Elemental Ward abilities change depending on his energy color, and I'm currently stress testing Ice energy (that buffs the fuck out of your armor) against the Grineer. This frame, for me is the ultimate letdown from DE because of how they treated it. Basically they gave him one ability (Elemental Ward) that would give you different effects depending on what element you were using in your Energy color, and then the other three abilities have next to nothing to do with that damage type. Granted Spectral Scream is supposed to be garbage, but still, there's basically no reason to ever use Effigy, It uses too much energy, and doesn't do nearly enough damage to the hordes of enemies that are constantly spawned to warrant just spamming Elemental Ward and Vex Armor, then going fullmelee with a syndicate modded melee weapon. So I love the idea of the frame, and hate how they implemented it.

I also run nothing but Public games all the time, because the only person I know that still plays it will fucking screech into my ears if he thinks I'm doing something wrong, and refuses to play with what he calls 'Pubs' referring to public players.

Oh yeah, and Baro Ki'teer has Primed Reach for the next three hours if you haven't caught it yet, there's the Primed Ammo Mutation mods, but IMO they're not even close to being worth spending ducats on.

That's basically all it is at this point.

I would be able to solo t4's survivals for at least an hour using Trinity, was such an easy way to get prime parts and not have to share it with others aka making it easier for you to sell.
