I don't take your meaning. You have to…take time this summer to read Gulag Archipelago or there's an audio you can listen to. Even if you've taken courses on russian history in Uni, even at a high level, you really can't understand 20th century Russia and what happened without this book. The book is so long because he's writing the political and social history of 45 years of his country that isn't written anywhere else.
