I've been following some debates in left-wing circles on Twitter and elsewhere about the use of violence against those they deem racist, anti-Semitic, etc. The "moderate" liberals generally say that violence is something that should be avoided, while the more radical ones (Marxists, anarchists) say that such violence can be justified and has led to many major left-wing accomplishments.
Although your average "moderate" liberal won't like to admit it, there were many left-wing movements in the 20th century that used violence to accomplish their goals. Examples includes a number of labor riots, suffragette riots, civil rights riots and the Stonewall riots. The Civil Rights movements in particular has been so sanitized of any bad elements, that most people now believe that is was "peaceful protests," and not the threat of an insurrection by armed black militants, that caused the government to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964 into law. In the video I posted, you can hear Black Panther(?) activists singing "off the pigs!", yet this is something few people think of whenever the Civil Rights movement is talked about.
This brings me to my next point. The radical left can easily think of a number of successful left-wing riots and movements, whereas cuckservatives are quick to cower in fear and shriek about how much they abhor violence. This is why I think it's important to have a discussion about right-wing riots and revolutions that were successful and had lasting effects, and for what reasons.
This ranges from pro-white race riots, such as the Red Summer, to anti-LGBT riots, and even anti-communist revolutions in Eastern Europe. Some other examples that come to mind are the Spanish Civil War, the Romanian Revolution, the ethnic cleansing of Bosnian and Albanian Muslims by Serbian Christians. the Cronulla riots (pic related), and some recent riots in various parts of Europe against the construction of asylum-seeker centers and the asylum seekers/refugees themselves.
Now that things are heating up in parts of Europe and the US, we could probably learn a thing or two that we could put to good use in the near future.

Right wing revolutions are always reactionary because conservatives usually try to mediate or do it by the book. They just want to be left alone. Up until they snap.
Leftist revolutions are violent becouse leftist are usually very zealous with their ideology and can't take a no or try to negotiate. Their leaders also are often sociopaths. And that's why they don't gather the support of the general public. They succeeded only a couple of times and always after a devastating war. The other way is the long march through the institutions through indoctrination. Which is pretty obvious and it eventually devolves into violence.

It wasn't an overnight success. Most people don't know that there was a civil war that lasted nearly 4 years in Russia after the bolsheviks killed the Romanov family and assumed the role of governance.
The white army fought them from 1917-1921 all across russia until they ran out of money, food, supplies and ultimately, their spirit.
