The focus of his ire is asian/white relationships, and from the writing you can't help but feel that the whole thing is because the author can't get an asian girlfriend. 79 fucking pages and he's still dicking around with the mysterious "Gogo is some kind of Zilla monster for some reason" subplot he used to put in his fetish art, Gogo lived on an island, and Andy is still a boring, inferior shota.

An unfunny knockoff of a knockoff which baits readers with the most blatant things: Videogames and cuteness.

But the more I hated on it, the more I fell for the cuteness and I kinda felt sad that it's on hiatus. It was harmless and ended while shit like B^U, Penny Arcade and Sinfest keep on coming.

Is it just me or do webcomics lose their charm the better they are drawn?
The better they are drawn, the longer the updates take and the less action you see.

I always hoped I'd be the one to draw a webcomic shonen style, with action and fighting in it, but the workflow scares me.

That's how I felt about Brawl in the Family. Cute and harmless but really dumb jokes, Kirby taking and minimal grasp on in-game explanations. Can't help miss it a little regardless.

The worst part is that he fucking knew how to do good political and social commentary before. But as soon as the SJW plague got to him, it all just disappeared. Sinfest was never "good". It was always a mediocre humor comic whose strength was cute/sexy girls.

The closest Ishida ever got to making a good comic was when he focused on Magenta, but he threw that all away. I guess spending almost twenty years on a daily strip with nothing show for it broke his mind.

There's something about this guy and Aaron Diaz's comics that feel so inorganic to me. I can recognize the art's good, but there's something so ugly about seeing it in comic form. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's just that he can't for the life of him draw something that suggests real motion. The composition for this stuff usually feels pretty shit (especially with Diaz), and I suppose it feels more like you're just looking at a series of pictures than an actual comic.

That's probably the case. Both Diaz and Ishida suffer from a lack of gesture in their comics, which leaves their art looking static and lifeless.

In the world of comics, it's better to make a crappy drawing that looks alive than an beautiful drawing that looks dead. This is why Jack Kirby is remembered as the King of Comics despite his many artistic errors.

It's a stab, but to be fair, in a comic where bad things happen to children, I think it's for the better that girl died to a stabwound and not rape. I mean, there's ugly, and then there's death by rape. I can't really imagine anything worse than seeing a sweet girl get raped to death. Honestly, Unsounded is alright for a comic. Too many niggers for my taste, but at least the artist has the excuse of it being a different world altogether, and the niggers don't act like niggers, so I can get over it. The crow with six tits still freak me out, though. I do like how sometimes things happen out of frame. It's clever use of the web format.

Even if its a stab you still need considerable force to actually go that deep, of you just get shit in your eyes and stumble you may punch the tissue by stumblung forward with a sword, so its plausible to get the tip punch through by accident but not half of lengh of the blade and sure as fuck not with the wide bit VERTICALLY simply because theres fucking RIBS in the way
