It wasn't like SS's Cave Offensive where you could come and go as you please, or even like Dyna Blade or Meta Knight where you had bonus rooms full of food and skips

I guess so. To be honest, this was the weakest level design in a Kirby game ever. It was all just back-screen gimmicks.

Okay, so we have Triple Deluxe, which had a *Dedede* mode, and we have Robobot, which had a *Meta Knight* mode.

All we need is a 3rd 3DS game with a *Bandana Dee* mode

I feel like the 3D sub-game was a controls test

Robobot has a "minigame" where you play kirby on a 3D perspective.
It has no copy abilities and no slide kick, but it has limited flying for some reason.
It's not much, but they might be testing this concept for a future full game.

Unless in the next 3DS game featuring him he is revealed to be the Waddle Dee in Crystal Shards, in this case it's all smiles.

I think they retconned it somewhere that the 64 Dee was Bandana Dee. Can't recall where though

I got Rainbow Curse off of the eShop sale, but I really should try to full-clear Triple Deluxe first. Robobot looks good, too. Come to think of it, I've never truly been disappointed by a Kirby game.
