Earthbound was the Undertale of the 90's.

Undertale's combat is actually better because you have an action command for your attacks and you have to actively dodge the enemy attacks.
It has no skills/spells but has non-combative interaction with the opponents.

Kek. Its babboo's first bullet hell. Eathbound has wey more depth and complexity than "attack" or "not attack"
So does shin megami tensei

It's funny how undertale has such two strong sides of a single spectrum.
There's austists that feel an extreme need to defend even it's most ridiculous flaws.
But there's also autists that feel an extreme need to shit on even it's most fine aspects.
