It says on haveibeenpwned says it was a simple SHA1 hash, which is very common and shitty. So over at hashes.org they have a search function that I pasted it in (removing the leading 0x) and it showed up, someone has already figured out that password corresponds to that hash, otherwise I would have to try to use a dictionary attack and hash everything until a match came up. If that didn't work, then you basically bruteforce sha1 sums until something shows up (this can literally take forever).
