It's too much of a departure from the formula and I can already see it backfiring/splitting the fanbase further. Some of the concepts are good, I like taming the wild horses and cooking may have potential, but so far it doesn't look, feel, or actually resemble what LoZ once was

So what constitutes a rehash then, genius? By that logic no game in the series is a rehash because they all have some thing separating them from each other. ALBW was New Super Zelda copying directly from ALTTP for both it's overworld, subworld (or whatever you'd call Lorule), and dungeon themes. They could've avoided that by making Lorule mirrored to make it more of a "reflection" of Hyrule but that would've only changed one of the problems with it

They should've actually showed a fucking dungeon then, instead we only got a pretty barren world with the implication of being able to climb everywhere and anywhere (not that it will be worth it most of the time)

At this rate their E3 coverage of the game is going to be longer than the game itself.
