You seem to forget the RIM-174 Standard ERAM was designed specifically to deal with Hypersonic missiles and the RIM-156A Standard Block IV for post-war med-to-high Supersonic missiles.
The Mach 4+ RIM-162 ESSM is also capable of retaliating against the lackadaisical Mach 2.9 3M-54 Klub.
It's at SHORT range that the AEGIS system gives up the ghost (RAM is finicky at best and most ships don't have it), but at medium/long range it's still golden verses High-Super/Hyper-Sonic Missiles (only as long as the AEGIS system has AEW assets telling it that missiles are inbound).
