That's what I thought at first, but upon closer inspection, she's the girl from the remake of Final Fantasy III. Don't play it, they took out mobs and you have to grind more to make up for it.

I've had a passing interest in this since they announced it, the stacking thing looks kind of neat.
If it has dual audio I might pick up a copy in a year or two once it's cheaper.

I don't even know what you're talking about user. I played that shit as a kid and had a completely over-leveled party of 4 dark knights by the time I reached CoD. I don't remember grinding even once. The Final Fantasy IV remake, on the other hand, kicked my ass.

I could never finish the III remake because of how fucking slow the battles were. Those animations take way too long and there's also a lot of waiting between actions.

Not that I know what classes you used, but you make it sound like you found a way to break the game with the right combination of classes.

I got bit farther the first time I played, but both times I stopped playing was because I was underleveled despite going through every battle. I went through the first dungeon in the second world map, the cave before who I think was a fire-based boss, a relatively sizable dungeon, with many different turns and chests- no save my party died within 2 turns.

If what I heard is correct, the developers that remade FFIII increased the stats of regular enemies to make up for not being able to have as many on the screen as in the original, but they neglected to increase the amount of experience gained from them. The first time I played, I was forced into an area and I thought I went somewhere I wasn't supposed to be at yet because the enemies were tearing me apart, and even grinding was so difficult because regular enemies were so powerful. This wouldn't be a problem if I had been skipping fights to progress, but that wasn't the case.

I don't know if they ever fixed this issue in the ports, but if they have, I'd consider giving it one more try.
