Everyone says that Finland has the cleanest forests and nature, so as long as youre not going to the capital area you should be fine. And almost all worthwhile places except Tampere and Rovaniemi are right by the sea.

If it is older Finnish culture and history that you're after, you should check out cities such as Turku or Vaasa, who have preserved their older buildings.
