I totally forgot that my Everdrive lets me change the Sega CD BIOS at boot, so I can see all of the SCD bootup sequences on actual hardware.
If there were more impressive startup sequences, I'd make webbums of them, but each version of the 3DO's sucks. Here's one from my Neo Geo.
