I invested about 1.5k for 4 bitcoin at around 400 and about 300 for 27 etherium at around 14
so far the investment is panning out decent but I kinda wish I was paying attention to dollar vigilante when he said get dashcoin before it went from 15 to 80

HOWEVER

I still have like a grand and a half in the bank just in case shit goes tits up and honestly have all but written off these crypto currencies as expendable money that I will never see again because I dont bet
I mean there are constantly scares about this shit, I panicked when it dropped way back when it was like 350 and then it went to 450 and I lost out because I sold and bought, so I decided that at that point I would not sell with a drop
This last month has been fucking with me because I was worried it was a crash but everything seems cool for now

Bitcoin markets are controlled by anyone who spends enough during the latest crash, the huge buy up over a peroid of time starts to lead to a market shortage (as it keeps getting harder to produce the bitcoins (cracking hashes for the nsa) )
and the market shortage causes the price to go up over time…then a massive sell off and then another massive buy up.

this makes it easily accessible to tech illeterate
Coinbase also has a Bitcoin to USD credit card called the SHIFT card
SHIFT card is about as protected as any generic credit card so there can be fraud
this happened to me but the shift app for android was sending me alerts that I thought were assholes texting me when I was trying to sleep
when I finally got up to check my messages the last use of the 1000 USD account had been drained
I immediately scoured the coinbase and SHIFT pages for what the fuck to do and contacted their number to contest it and got a machine which I was able to do the "I contest these charges" thing and kill the card
the next day I got a call from the fraud support guy who appologized for the inconvenience a lot and shit like that and a week later I got all my eme coins back within a couple dollars, it looked right so I didn't bother to check
have not gotten another shift card since though

Etherium has software applications too but I don't understand that shit
