It is completely legal for Trump to ban any group of people for any reason he likes. This is an exclusive power explicitly granted to the Chief Executive.

Trump could ban Swedes from immigrating to America, and cite his reason as "we don't want their cuckold cooties," and that's within his right to do. The judiciary as a whole needs to be destroyed. The job of a judge is to apply the law and to make judgments in trials, not to arbitrate the legality of law, which is a self-contradictory idea.

The way it is now, judges are the supreme authority of the land. Once appointed, they (practically) can't be removed and they can undo any act of the legislative and the executive. Instituting the Supreme Court was a mistake right from the beginning and the warnings of the people at the time turned out to be 100% correct when the SC grabbed (i.e. invented out of whole cloth) the right of judicial review in 1798.
