The madmen did it. This is probably the closest thing I've saw from the original Power Stone games. The scenarios are smaller, like the ones from Power Stone 1, and the normal attacks fixed in one button, as they were in Power Stone 2. An interesting change are in the transformations: they are exclusive to each stage, not each character.
The game is surprisingly well made at least for today standards. I finished the game's story mode four times and had some versus battles against the AI and it never crashed on me, no FPS drop, but it sure needs more options, like button mapping. It also would be great to have mod support, imagine if someone really manage to bring some characters from power stone to this thing? Anyway, a really great indie game. Have you played it? Have your main? And, since I'm pretty sure the "shill brigade" will shout stuff at me, I really don't care, there is space in this site for every triple A title, so yeah, there is space for smaller titles too. And dubs, there is always space for dubs. And porn. I hope there will be porn of this game too.
Games like this one, Super Android Cactus, Distance, Legend of Grimrock, Mount & Blade give me hope that the indie scene might recover from it's corrosion.

But you never played Power Stone, well, unless you are mostly Master Race, there is little excuse for it.
This is mostly a coach combat game. You can go 1v1, 2v2 and, I hope in the next patch, Battle Royale mode.
Now, Power Stone games are like a Vs. beat'em up in an arena, but deeper. Pretty straight forward, but every character is quite different in the abilities part.
The market have some games that tried to mimic the original PS charm, but this one is the closest I've ever seem to achieve this goal.
So, you have a small arcade/story mode and a Vs. Mode against humans or AI, ten different characters, no skins yet, but frankly, the outfits are already quite sexy. But I also hope they deliver some new stuff in the future, but that would mean DLC, so, not great.

Nope, full release already. But, about Power Stone, it was one of the last great games from Capcom. One of the most well know Dreamcast games. But, beside the two games on the dream machine, there is also a PSP port of both. You can easily emulate that one.

But, talking about the game again. There is something I was missing in games, the portraits change when you select a char. It's a small detail, but it's so charming.
