Because I've played Kingdoms of Amalur, and did the first continent (first half of the game) 100%, and now that I've lost my save data it's hard to get grinding again. Because as you've said; it's generally really bland.

And just recently they added a ninja class…Elins only. I will admit the armors made for the ninja class look nice but my god it's more broken that gunner and brawler when they were released.

I'm actually pretty pissed off that the 3 classes they added are female only, 2 elin only. I stopped playing quite a while ago.

I played Tree of Savior for 19 hours, which is my new record as a MMO burnout. Not bad. No one really talks though, and all the chansite guilds are full (both by member limit and full of stupid drama).

There's new servers for Luna Online and DOMO too for that old-style MMO also OP. Not sure if interested but I found it cozy.

You get whale shit because people can't get good. Age of Wushu tried and failed horribly at this, combat was fine, but locked behind a massive paywall and whales.
TERA tried this, but it was a mistake because the devs have no clue what the fuck they're doing. They struck something that could've been decent and then shat the bed.
ToS is just pure unadulterated shit. 20 years of grind, no one talks, servers are fucking broken, you don't even get to pick what class you want. "You want to be a dagger user? Hit level 120 and go through 4 other classes first, and don't worry those other classes are invalid because we have a flat skill damage modifier, passives and supports are the only useful things lower classes provide a higher class"
GW2 is pretty ass, I don't even remember why, I just remember it was complete shit.
Vindictus is garbage for much the same reason, floaty as fuck, easier than finding a porn dump on Holla Forums, and it's got an obstructive cash shop

There's an FFXI private server specifically for Holla Forums. (though anyone can play) the only caveats is it's a bitch and a half to install, and the admin (may) be dead, I don't know, recently he's been resetting the server without people calling for him, but that's only because I suspect his ghost resides in it.

I know it's old, but it's easily the best MMO I've played since SWG. Players drive the conflicts, the best gear is stuff you craft yourself, and the combat is pretty decent.

been playing black desert online. It's grindy as all hell but the house owning and gardening don't require a monthly fee unlike archeage
