Hopefully 3DS Pokemon Romhacks will gain more popularity so they can make X/Y/OR/AS playable.

They look somewhat different from Ken Sugimori's art.
They look cool, but those are not the final evolutions. People need to learn to analyze and be skeptical of shit presented to them. Unless they want to be sorely disappointed of course.

There's been rumors that Ken Sugimori has retired and the new Pokemon art is his Apprentice's. Sugimori hasn't retweeted anything about Sun and Moon, unlike he has with X/Y. Also the official art is already different stylistically from his.

They're pretty good designs, some of the better I've seen in the last few gens, and I'm doubly impressed that all three look pretty good, not just one of three. But all of the well-designed Pokemon can't make up for the fact that Game Freak A SHIT and that they can't design a decent monster collector in the current year worth a damn. It's certainly not helping that their Nintendo overlords demand the game be in 3D, and GF can't into optimizing 3D for a shitty handheld like the 3DS.
I really just want Gen 5's mechanics and sprites in Gen 2's body, but whatever.

I prefered collecting pokemon, training them up and using them in online battles.

Also re-fighting the gym leaders and their great ass meta teams. That shit was dank.

I think the other half of the problem is Gamefreaks babby design, always giving you exactly what you need for the first 2-3 gyms.There's no real joy in finding new things for the first quarter of the game. Going off the beaten path and getting an early ____ doesn't happen.

Seems more in line with what gamefreak would do.
The cat has "fire whiskers" so each fire starter has a different part of it's body on fire.
However, the water-starter throws me off. It looks like Poppilo with extra stuff tacked on. And Litten's supposed second having a tan stomach makes it clash (i'd have said either the whole body is black with a red stomache, or some other pattern). Finally the owl looks too Gen 1. Clean and nice, so I doubt it's that either.

This could go either way. Kind hope it's legit, but I don't want the fire starter becoming bi-pedal in case of furrys

All I've wanted out of the starters for a generation is to finally do the psychic/dark/fighting triangle in addition to the regular types. Unfortunately that would mean yet another Fire/Fighting starter assuming these are the final designs.

Well, I kinda had an idea for an Ice + Steel/Dark fakemon based on snow dogs (Huskies, St. Bernards) and arctic combat.

3 evolutions. I can't remember the names I had for them so I'll just make up something stupid.

First Form: Knife Doggo, the Icicle Pokemon
A small, black/white/cyan doggo that has a thick bony plates on its forelegs that can project icicle blades/spikes. It can throw these icicles like throwing knives to pin down prey from a distance. Learns a variety of slash type moves.

2nd Form: Revolver Doggo, the Duelist Pokemon
In its second form, it stands upright on two legs, but runs on 4, and its metal bone arm band things have turned into full arm braces, with round gun barrels sticking out over the back of the wrist. These gun barrels are specially adapted organs that can rapidly fire icicle spikes to perforate enemies. Expands move arsenal to bullet, bomb, and beam type moves.

3rd Form: Gatling Doggo, the Squad Support Pokemon
It becomes a large fat/fluffy St. Bernard type dog. Stands up on two thick legs, its meaty arms ending in metallic, multi-barrel gatling gun type appendages that can spray icicle shards to turn its prey into cold cheese. It has a fat, round tongue that sticks out and resembles a cigar, and a large round "barrel" under its neck where it collects its drool which ferments when combined with berries into a potent poke-medicine, similar to Shuckle's ability to make Berry Juice.

They'd get absolutely rekt by Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Ground tho

Overall they'd focus on ranged attack moves, like bullets, beams, bombs, etc, with a few "tactical" moves as well, like Smokescreen and Spikes.

Hope it's not water/fighting. Looks like it'll have low speed but high attack/sp. attack and capable of learning trick room, so I'm guessing it'll be water/psychic to be a capable sweeper.
