Beating sephiroth requires two things. You need at least level 70, as well as the ability that let's you survive devastating attacks with 1 hp. Stock up on ethers (or whatever the item is that restores both hp/mp). The reason for this, is that if you fail to disrupt his insta-kill attack, you can still recover quite easily. Having Ultima weapon helps a lot too, though by the time you grind out the materials, you'll probably be around lol 90-100, which makes the fight significantly easier.

You're right on the other points, but you seem to have missed the E3 2015 "trailer." If nothing else, they definitely do have a working alpha build of KH mechanics in UE4. They wouldn't be that far along if they weren't actually intent on finishing it.

Honestly, KH is one of those series with some pretty okay combat (KH2 really fucked it up because it was just a matter of spamming ▲ and winning in nearly all cases.) And the themeing/art direction was pretty cool too.

The two reasons most people hate it because the fanbase is the most autistic fucks in the world and the story makes no god-damn sense and it honestly feels like god-modding to me so plot can progress.

I enjoyed the game for the levels, music and gameplay. Everything else can go fuck right off.

The Jungle Book was cut from the first game and BBS, so it's a possibility.
