Therefore, the more you burn things, the more UV light gets absorbed by atmospheric gases. So air pollution is meaningless? Coal scrubbers are not 100% efficient, and a lot of currently used scrubber technology has removal efficiency under 80%. When it comes to shit like mercury, SO2, and NOX entering our atmosphere, even a little bit is harmful. Just because we can burn coal with less harmful emissions than China, which doesn't even bother trying to scrub its emissions, doesn't mean we should.

CO2 doesn't absorb UV light, you're thinking of ozone, but it reflects it in the upper atmosphere instead of absorbing it. What CO2 does is reflect long wave IR light radiating from the earth back towards it.
The most important thing to consider is that CO2 isn't a powerful greenhouse gas, methane and water vapor are much more affective. Also, CO2 is already saturated as far as acting as a greenhouse gas. I never saved them but some annon has the reverse hockey stick graph and some lab experiment video that shows as much.
The whole anthropogenic argument is based on the supposition that a feedback loop between CO2, water vapor, and methane from melting permafrost will happen despite there being no evidence that it has happened before.
The water vapor is the tricky part, forecasting clouds with high accuracy is difficult because the uneven distribution of water vapor and the effect they have on incoming and outgoing radiation, basically they affect their own propagation.
