As a historian of autistic fandoms and their products, Five nights at Fuckboy's is an interesting phenomenon. While it does reference a plethora of better work, it surprisingly does not at any point reference any e celebs or specific fandom in jokes. The dialogue consists of proto memes, which is combined with text to voice programs for near every character. Its gameplay is as bare bones as rpg maker can make it, and the soundtrack shows that the creator has experience with niche indie games, using thecatamites' work as well as at least half a dozen free to use jazz tracks. The story itself from game to game swings from absurd situation played straight to serious situation played out absurdly. The creator's decision to only create three games and to stick to that, albeit with small updates, definitely is unusual, given the original series is now moving on to its sixth game.

Used to lose a lot of hours in TVTropes before, as usual, SJW/CultMarx took over. The writing style used to be very addictive but I bet it's all tumblrified now.

I'd say it's because of aggressive invasion, subversion and perhaps even threats of violence (doxxing, DDOSing, and so on) rather than an automatic process. Although watching enough TV certainly is enough on its own to open the door to begin with.

Funny Games is one of the greatest films ever made. It was like MGS2 on the way that it pissed off so many autists that expected a generic ending with a great plot twist.
