Eh, close enough.

Where are you looking? I'm up here, right up here.

ANSWER ME DOMON!!
THE SCHOOL OF THE UNDEFEATED OF THE EAST

I want your opinion, would Gurren Lagann make for a good fighting game?
I think it'd feel like a Budokai game actually, just with mechs and less laser beams, with customizable mechs and more focus on close quarters combat.
combining would be a good concept to play around with too.

...

shit taste detected
and waste of dubs

Do you guys hate Gundam Vs. or something?

I think this anime could work really well as a fighting game.

Fuck yes OP.

You could probably just mod the street fighter games though.

etc

ANSWER ME DOMON, THE OF THE SCHOOL UNDEFEATED OF THE EAST

Gurren Laggann would work way better for something like Asura's Wrath.

The true final mission of AW in the DLC is basically the end of Gurren lagann anyways. If you haven't played AW yet, by the way, you should, because if you liked TTGL it's right up your ally. It has the same sort of absurd over the top action both TTGL and G gundam have, but it also matches TTGL's ridiculous sense of scale, which is obviously an accomplishment. Pic related is essentially the first boss, for example.

The game is like 40% QTE's though, so you got go in treating it like an interactive anime rather then a game. (the missions are called episodes, have commercial bumpers, and even have "next episode on" things at the end of each)

It's a shame capcom were being huge jews and cut out the real ending to be DLC, but you can get the game for like 7$ used anyways now and the ending is so insane I almost can excuse it.

Actually now that I think about it AW's would make a great fighting game itself. It has solid 10-11 characters that are already very fleshed out and have shit to make movesets out of

...

Is it good? it doesn't look it.

...

Too late now faggot
I bet you read this first

Not liking best Gundam

Tequila Gundam is the only good Mexican.

What about the aztecs? You don't think the fucking mega city they built on a lake pretty much without any metal tools that rivaled even Constantinople is cool?

But that anime was base on a fighting game

Aren't there fucking tons of Gundam fighting games?

...

gundam battle assault 2 has all you need

There are tons of Gundam games OP.
What do I have to do to get my Getter Robo action game?

He's probably talking about modern day mexicans.

A megacity requires more than 10 million people to be classified as such. I highly doubt the Aztecs had anywhere near that many.

You seriously googled megacity just in the off chance you could discredit what that guy was saying (with obvious hyperbole) didn't you?

I mean you have Extreme Vs, at least

Play one of the Another Century's Episode games.

No, I just know what a megacity is and like being a dick.

THE WINDS OF THE KING

...

ZENSHIN

Eh, I'll take what I can get.

Well maybe if Fromsoft stopped making lame ass Dark Souls games we'd have a next gen ACE game with a bunch of cool shit in it. Come on, I want crossover games that aren't limited to SRW, Bamco. Get Koei to do some sort of Super Robot Warriors musou.

...

KAERETSU

I would be interested in a Zootopia Mortal Kombat style game.

Not by that definition, no, but by the standards of the day, it would have qualified. It had around 300,000 people in 1500, which puts it at either the 3rd, 4th, or 5th largest city in the world at the time going by my cursory research, alongside Constantinople, Bejing, Cairo, Paris, and some indian city I can't recall the name of.

Anyways, the spainish at least were extraordinarily impressed by it:

(…)

(…)

...

>There will never be a Kill La Kill hack n slash

Can't they rip models from movies yet?
I want porn with that bunny, but it's not the same when it's drawn.

...

Jesus fucking Christ, why are furries so stupid?

Some more from a different account:

(…)
(…)

...

NO
YOU CAN'T
THERE'S NO MODEL DATA TO RIP

Unless you sneak into disney/pixar/whoever and actually hack into their computers you will never get that high definition bunny ass, user. I'm sorry.

To clarify since I could see it being misunderstood:

it was in the top 5 alongside those other ones, which the exact 5 dependening on what sources you use, not that they were all tied for 3rd, 4th, or 5th depending on the source.

...

But it's clearly 3D, not real people.
If you can rip models from games, why can't you from 3D cartoons? They're basically scripted games.

...

...

BECAUSE GAMES ACTUALLY HAVE THE DATA THERE FOR YOU TO RIP, MOVIES DO NOT!

user, please, you're killing me

Because unlike some games, movies move at a cinematic 24 FPS, a frame rate too slow for accurate model ripping to happen in, and there's no way to increase the frame rate. See much like how the human eye can't see past 30 FPS and 1280x720 computers can't process 24 FPS every second. It's just too strenuous on the blast processor.

But you can clearly see it, stop your "no data bullshitting"

Oh fuck you, my computer can run 1080@60fps perfectly fine.

A movie is only saved as a series of pictures that flash rapidily to give the illusion of movement, so none of the actual models are saved in the movie disc.

Since games are interactive, you can't just have a set series of image frames play out , so the models and such actually have to be on disc to move around and such.

KEIRETSU

...

No see your computer can run 1080p@60fps fine because the data is processed so fast that it goes at 60 FPS, but in order to process 24 FPS models your processor has to slow down in order not to overflow the buffer L2 cache and cause a system crash. If it tried to render 24 FPS things at 60 FPS it wouldn't work at all.

...

Yes, and it looked like it, aka shit.

Nope, you're wrong

Do you legitimately think that every screening of a full CGI film has supercomputers rendering every single fucking frame in front of your eyes while syncing the audio perfectly, rather than a mix of the already rendered footage synced to the audio?

TEMPA KYOURAN

LOOK THE EAST IS BURNING RED

ONE. JOB. user.

The closest we're getting is to a Redline game is only a small moment in FUEL, Hot Wheels Worlds Best Driver and Need for Speed Prostreet Speed Runs

I think I've got one
Where you're tasked with getting a car to do an near impossible challenge and outside of a few occasions you can only use your money to improve your car in a near useless gameplay wise fashion. Or buy your co-hosts a absurd gift

And would tie it in with Diversity gear instead of the boys

Top Gear was featured in Gran Turismo, iirc

...

I'd like to see a cuhrayzee cross over game with everyone in.

Man imagine Bayonetta vs Dante
Raiden vs Virgil
Wonder Red vs Viewtiful Joe

Adventure Time
Steven Universe (team-based, obviously)
Star Trek
Rayman
Kablam!

The fun part is that Mark Gatha does X's voice

Add Asura to that list even if AW isn't a platnium style game.

I know, does he still do VA?

Also,
Reboot
Earthworm Jim
Futurama
The Aquabats

last i heard he was a dentist

I wanted to be like Buzima

That said, the designs as the series went on got worse. I think it had to die, sadly.

He became a dentist in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

user, movies are moving pictures, 3DCG movies are no exception, it's like trying to get 3D models out of a picture from your camera.

Twin Peaks

why do you even think that guy is serious

why?

seriously explain how you read his post and completely assumed without a doubt in your mind that "man this guy is totally serious I better correct him".

...

even if that was possible who the fuck has a computer good enough to render a scene that looks like that?

It would take weeks to get one frame with all the fur and lighting working properly

For some furfags that would be totally worth it.

Can we please go back to talking about fighting games instead of marveling at how retarded some furfag is?

Of the two short lists I brainstormed, I think The Aquabats is probably the best one. They have enough humanoid superheroes with a wide range of powers, and a ton of wacky monsters. They have great stories to build up to physical conflicts and lead to different locales for matches and stages. Plus, it'd be bright cool looking and have a kickass soundtrack.

Anybody else here going to Combo Breaker? Holla Forums meetup somewhere?

Don't even fucking remind me
And that it's. One make races of Old Volkswagen's that are boring. At least Forza has Clarkson talking about cars in the Autovista mode. And Car Bowling that's kinda shit.

And Dave Petit was Sigma

How about no? They always go wrong.

Don't you like brownies, user?

>implying I wouldn't eat cum brownies

Gundam Battle Assault 2.
G Gundam airing in the US fucked with the roster, too.

Eat me.

The Holla Forums one in Jew York was small as fuck, but a few laughs were had, See pic related.

where is the fucking blu ray

What is Anpan Sparking?

...

Not enough to warrant a game, apparently.

Has there ever been a Gundam equivalent to DBZ: Budokai Tenchichi 3? Something that has basically every character and mobile suit in the franchise? Gundam Assault 2 is a good game, but the roster doesn't even have a Gouf in it.

I don't even really care if it's a good game or not. I just want a bunch of digital gundam toys because I'm too poor to afford the models.

It's okay for a SNES fighter. Nowhere near as good as the Gundam Wing game, though.

Extreme Vs series or the Dynasty Warriors Gundam series are probably your best bets.

Gundam Breaker 3 then is up your alley.

It would actually be really easy to make a Gintama fighting game.

The fact that it's primarily a gag anime means they could incorporate just about anything into the movesets, and since it's also flashy shounenshit they could easily find enough moments, both serious and humorous, to adapt into finishing moves.

I'm kind of surprised they haven't tried making an actual Gintama game yet.

Gundam Breaker is probably what you want, it's Gunpla: The Game, and the actual gameplay part itself isn't too bad either.

Otherwise there's

Which has a pretty good selection and good gameplay. Haven't played the first two, but I heard the second one mostly focuses on 0079 and Z with a bunch of alternative "what if" type storylines and stuff. Newer ones have stuff from all the main series.

and

Battle Universe is a pretty good game that lets you play through the stories of 0079 through CCA + the OVAs that take place in between as a faceless grunt on either the Feddie or Zeon (or AEUG) side. Assault Survive is basically the same but has more late UC and non-UC shit (SEED and 00) with less early UC shit as tradeoff. The major downside is that both are only on the PSP.

You know what? I do want a Blu-ray collection of G Gundam. And Megas XLR. Holy shit I would spend hundreds on Megas XLR.

Might be cool.

Thanks.

...

Honestly those games are shit

noice

This is painful. They move so slowly, it's like we're back in the One Year War, and yet it's supposed to be at the end of the Universal Century.

These junk piles couldn't take on Titans mobile suits in a fair fight, let alone Neo Zeon, Crossbone Vanguard or Zanscare.

I think the FIA license would make for a great fighting game.

There's actually a blender model of it.

Can't imagine why

hopefully this is omega force's game for E3

i'd buy a PS4 for that

At most dark souls will get a super smash bros clone.

...

...

is that pico?

You realize that them moving slowly means they actually did their homework and that mobile suits aren't ever going to be zipping around turning on a dime in space.

Also

Thanks for reminding me that the gook actor who plays him is a real life cucked SJW faggot

Fucking gundam battle assault 2, it even has voice acting and super combos and play on the PS1. you fucking underage uniformed piece of shit.

SNES? this was a playstation game loser

No, G Gundam for the SNES was an SNES game, and so was Victory before it and Wing Endless Duel after it

Fuck this gay earth

Doubtful.

I'd buy it for its DLC.

Nothing good ever happens there anymore.

famitsu.com/news/201510/06090154.html

???

I don't know if this counts but I would like to play a 3D fighting game starring rappers that played like VF with a LMH scheme.

Any recent news or is it yet another dropped game?

What are you talking about? None of the new games were "dropped".

Yeah fuck I read that wrong.

But is there going to be a U.S release or do I have to crack my 3DS to play it?

It already came out with another on the way if it hasn't also came out.
Translation/Localization never ever.

Crack

More than it's a western event and PreCure musou would be announced at a Nipponese outlet.

new medabots has a fan translation in the works no?

Still it's a solid game with fan service

V gundam had good designs for the mook suits, the bug eyed Zanscare suits were neat

What kind of fan service?

The fuck I know about the fan translation scene?

Think Senran Kagura without the jiggly boobs.

G Saviour was garbage but the designs were great

This is Medabots? Goodness, this really flew under my radar.

...

It's a spinoff that got announced a little after the mainline got its 9th game.
Neither seem to have a future over here short of fan translations since the company behind it has not faith in Medabots without an anime to air.

Now we know who's responsible for those damnable mosquitoes!

WHY

I thought long and hard. Nothing came to mind. That proves fighting games are worthless and have done nothing new since Fighter's Destiny.

Is that a giant enemy crab?

No.

Orthopedic Surgeon, actually.

fighting games are the original call of duty

I don't know why I like OP's picture so much.

Maybe it's my love of G Gundam and completely nonsensical fan art combos? If this actually makes any sense in the context of whatever Zootopia's plot is, don't ruin it for me.

What about an RTS where you make and build different Gundams depending on the tech and research you have achieved. Kind of like Galactic Civilizations 3.

I have a hard time gauging some of the tech progression on general performance of the suits in between the various series. That may just be me, though.

yeah but it's a stretch.

Beat the shit out of other mobile suits

Shimille, is that you?

>search for Shimille on StartPage

FNAF fighting game when?

These 2 shit shows.

Air gear, this fucking show, I remember seeing the OVA and telling myself to read the manga because by roller skating they somehow managed to tap in to time magic.

Honestly surprise by kill la kill not happening yet

THIS ABILITY TO SELF-REGENERATE

Never unless Scott figures out how to make a fighting game out of the point & click adventure engine he constantly uses.
