Yes, I was actually juggling whether or not I should put in HL2 Xbox, because despite it being an obvious downgrade compared to the PC version at the time, the orange box port it got a few years ago introduced a ton of issues that have yet to be fixed, and ruin certain parts of the game such as playing chicken with the razor train.

Only if you're terrible at it, it's a game that rewards mastery of its mechanics very well

coop = local cooperative play with 2 or more players. classic couch co-op, I found the xbox had a ton of these so I felt it very important to make a key point of the list. x-link/system link is definite multiplayer support. The backs of Xbox games listed whether or not they supported co-op specifically.

What I meant was co-op as in both playing on the same team/campaing or co-op as in playing DOA or Star Wars Battlefront. Also, you might want to add pic related to sports if you ever make an update. Its a lot of co-op (& versus), lots of tricks and takes actual skill to play. AI can be real shitty on higher difficulties though. Also, HD on xbox.

There will be updates, I'll definitely look into it, I know EA big did some great sports titles at the time. Games that are listed as co-op are campaign co-op. Think like Halo 2 split screen, or in some cases, more inventive co-op like starsky & hutch lightgun & controller co-op. If you can play the typical single player campaign, it is listed as a co-op game in the list.

Would you prefer there to be a separate image just for multiplat games, or that people just aren't made as aware of what all is available on various systems? Because in the case of the former, it could get really long and also rather ugly in terms of layout, depending on how many systems it covers.

Knight of Lodis is it's own game. It's not a port, nor is it a remake the way Tactics Ogre PSP is.

look for the little yellow "only on xbox" text. otherwise, the list is there to show you good games on the xbox above all. If you want to play Xbox games, it's a good place to start.

What do you have? Trump hands? Just use the S-Type or the Madcatz Xbox controller. Its pretty good and has an actual good D-Pad. Obviously stuff like HL is going to be better on PC, but games like SSX3, Burnout 3, THUG2, Time Splitters are all great to have on an Xbox.

Sure you have sonny, the Xbox still has maybe 20 or so worthwhile exclusives. For what an Xbox costs now a days ($20ish), that more than justifies it just for JSRF. Everything is else is a plus.

As an owner of both an Xbox and a Sega Saturn, who are you trying to kid here? The saturn controller was god-like for fighters and anything 2D. The Duke feels bulky, and even with 6 buttons, moving your fingers around the controller (coupled with a shit D-Pad for fighting & 2D) makes for quite an unbearable experience.

Huh. Well that sucks. I mean, the Duke is fairly uncommon, most places sell 3D party ones or the S-type. For real though, get a Mad catz one, pic related, its the tits. It has a pretty solid D-pad as well and its snug, not too small.

I played it on 360, which I think was the same aside from graphix and cheevos.

It was a bit rough around the edges, but pretty fun. I remember it having some cool features that still haven't been adopted by modern vidya. Legitimate 6/10 to 7/10; worth a play just to see the game mechanic potential.

Any of the unreleased games i put in the list is because they are leaked in full.

A bit of layout advice: add some more blank space around the edge of the image, and either add some between both columns or put a noticeable divider in. Stuff looks a bit cramped in there, and at first glance, both the Action Sports and Arcade Racing sections run together. Strikes me that it could use a bit of breathing room.

Yeah, from standardized 480p across the board, to optional 720p, higher quality assets and textures, better framerates, and often enough exclusive content deals, the xbox versions of almost all multiplats were the best ones.

Can someone make a good RTS recommendations list already?

I played 7th Dragon and found it terrible for your inability to revive party members except for tremendous backtracking to a town and seemingly no way to rebalance your party because of how useless a new member is (also having more than four members of your group sort of ruining the plot trying to say everyone was in a coma from an incident your active party members experienced). Now I see it still recommended on chans and a third game on Amazon, what am I missing here? The gameplay questions go for the Etrian Odyssey series to a lesser degree I guess. I wanted to like these games but aside from the Etrian Untold story mode demo I tried things just seem unnecesarilly cheap and punishing for no real reason.

Call me stupid or casual or whatever but could somebody explain to me what I seem to be missing?
