Ghostbusters, the first Terminator, the first Star Wars.

It's fuck R&M rip off. If you want to watch something that immitates R&M but does it well watch Stein's Gate.

Alien. May have been the scariest movie ever back then but it got too iconic and all the mystery of it is lost. Everyone knows what the xenomorph looks like, which was supposed to be the biggest mystery in the movie. Lost now.

Aliens was always better and it holds up to this day.

Yeah Back to the Future has aged horribly
Thankfully Netflix removed that horribly racist scene depicting muslims as terrorists
#notalmuslims

Maybe as time marches on life just wears out your inherent excitement and wonder towards things because you're already used to processing them and that might be why it doesn't seem as good?

The cgi, the makeup, some other stuff, are all really weak now.

They removed the scene off him going back? I call bullshit

Indiana Joneses

If you need top dollar modernized special effects to enjoy a movie to its fullest just get the fuck out now.

It was always overrated, it's sold but not amazing like most people (reddit) say

You might be right

A movie that relies on special effects is basically admitting its a cash grab.

...

Remember when that Robert Paulson guy used to make these for us?

...

...

LOL

Nope, rewatched some time ago. Still the same. Im pretty sure The Thing and Evil Dead 2 will never ever get old.

On the other hand the first Evil Dead aged pretty badly within the decade it released, you have to admit the claymation sequences in it and the second one do not hold up at all by today's standards, or even 90s standards.

They really removed it?

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

I'll take the thing special effect over any modern capeshit cgi all day erry day 24/7

The memory hole is real.

Preach on user.

...

so they edited the whole beggining and ending of the movie too?

No we just cant have the word terrorist on screen for a second
