Nature, IVs and EVs are a fucking horror show.

First with natures, you have a bunch of natures that reduce defences. Being your glass cannons will specialize in one attacking stat, they only need natures that reduce the attacking stat they won't use.
Natures that reduce Sp.Def and Defence are un-needed.
EVs are only tolerable now they put a decent minigame to grind it out quickly.

IVs are a constant dice roll, but add up to an extra 10% so you need to do them. But then you need to combine that with getting the right natures and IVs on what you want to breed. You can spend days trying to get something that gets stomped by some retard using a smogon team and a flow-chart.

Even the Smogon mons best counters- are more Smogon mons. Then the whole game just becomes a more complex rock paper scissors with less fun.

I still love the concept and tone and style of Pokemon to this day. I've been sick of the gameplay itself since I finished GOld and Silver. Since then I've wished for a "proper" Pokemon game where you're a trainer wandering the world and catching them all, but with combat totally redone from the ground up. I am sick of four moves and PP and that dead simple type of turn-based combat. It could at least be the less rigid turn-based combat Final Fantasy games have all used forever where having relatively higher speed makes more difference than just going first, but can actually get the faster character more turns overall.

I don't have one for you, but your best bet is to use a trace ralts on the mirage islands with ditto on it. What's great is there you can even grind out PokeNav links and get 3+IV dittos as well.

That's how I make my 5IVs mons.

Anyway, best way to get the island is to go online, other people will share the islands with you, before you save again go look for the island, if it's not there just reset and try again. Eventually someone will have visited the ditto island and will make it appear in your game.
