This House Was 3D-Printed In Under 24 Hours At A Cost Of Just $10,000

While 3D-printing may have been faded away in recent years from the spotlight of core "disruptive" technologies, that may soon change again after a company managed to 3D-print an entire house in just 24 hours. Located in Russia, the following 400-square-foot home, or 37 square meters, was built in just a day, at a cost of slightly over $10,000.

youtube.com/watch?v=xktwDfasPGQ

As profiled in the Telegraph, the company Apis Cor, 3D-printing specialists based in Russia and San Francisco, built the house using a mobile printer on-site. According to the company, the walls of the building were printed and painted in just 24 hours.

What makes Apis' process unique is that while 3D-printing a home usually involves creating the parts off-site and constructing the building later, Apis Cor uses a mobile printer to print their apartments on-site. As profiled here, in 2015 the world's first 3D-printed apartment building was constructed in China, with the structures printed off-site.

However, the Apis process is unique in that it eliminates the need to transfer the printed blocks to the contstruction site.

"Printing of self-bearing walls, partitions and building envelope were done in less than a day: pure machine time of printing amounted to 24 hours," the company said.

The main components of the house, including the walls, partitions and building envelope are printed solely with a concrete mixture. Once the house has been completed, the printer is removed with a crane-manipulator and the roof is then added, followed by the interior fixtures and furnishings, as is a layer of paint to the exterior of the house.

The total construction cost of the house: $10,134.

The initial house consists of a hallway, bathroom, living room and kitchen and is located in one of Apis Cor's facilities in Russia. The company has claimed that the house can last up to 175 years.

Nikita Chen-yun-tai, the inventor of the mobile printer and founder of Apis Cor, explained his desire is “to automate everything”.

“When I first thought about creating my machine the world has already knew about the construction 3D printing,” he explained. “But all printers created before shared one thing in common – they were portal type. I am sure that such a design doesn’t have a future due to its bulkiness. So I took care of this limitation and decided to upgrade a construction crane design.”

He adds: “We want to help people around the world to improve their living conditions. That’s why the construction process needs to become fast, efficient and high-quality as well. For this to happen we need to delegate all the hard work to smart machines.”

Apis Cor has claimed to be the first company to have developed a 3D printer than can print whole buildings on-site.

For now the technology is in its infancy, however in a few years, the deflationary pressures unleashed by Apis-Cor and its competitors could results in a huge deflationary wave across the construction space, and would mean that a house that recently cost in the hundreds of thousands, or millions, could be built for a fraction of the cost, providing cheap, accessible housing to millions, perhaps in the process revolutionizing and upending the multi trillion-dollar mortgage business that is the bedrock of the US banking industry.

you fagoots didn't belive me

you see we deport the spics but they get a free house out of it

its cheaper than a war

Prefab's making a comeback lads.

you could build a house that size out of normal wood for cheaper.

Looks comfy. Id like one of them and a barn, and I can live my new 3D printed life off the grid.

Delusion.
This is from the aluminum revolution alone.
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bauxite_tailings
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajka_alumina_plant_accident

it would be less effecient and not withstand tornados

Since these types of printed structures are typically smeared concrete ejected from a gigantic toothpaste tube with no reinforcement what makes you think they could withstand a tornado?

I'm sure it wouldn't be as stable as a regular house during bad weather, but if your fucking poor it beats living in a small ass apartment in a death trap city for of niggers. Right?

This is lovely tbh. A few solar panels on the roof with a tesla battery in-house, plot a garden in the front, shooting range in the back, and pay an extra 5k for an office. Could see myself settling down there.

Those 'micro-homes' cost around $50k and are roughly the same size tbh. Sign me up for one of these Apis Cor.

they add metal wire during the printing, look up the specs

A plastic house ? I don't think this a very good idea user, I prefer the good and old cinder blocks and concrete myself.
Altough I must admit the price is pretty tempting.

one of the reason I have not bought a house yet, is because I know this will cause prices to drop through the floor

who is going to buy some stick shit for 500k when you can 3d print one for 1/8th the cost free and clear

>The main components of the house, including the walls, partitions and building envelope are printed solely with a concrete mixture.

Shipping Container based construction is cheaper, more secure, and more stable when anchored either below ground, or on concrete slab. Steel prefabricated buildings are just as cheap, allow more customized floor plans, with the con being that they are much weaker. However, both allow much larger living spaces and more adaptable insulation configurations so they can be placed in wider climates.

Sorry Op, 3D printing in almost all conditions is a fad and not especially viable with the exception being rapid prototyping.

Unless they are weaving it between layers they whole thing is built like an accordion. I don't trust any concrete structure that doesn't have both vertical and horizontal reinforcement.

...

Cinder blocks and a tin roof is the way to go fam.

This fucking shit was in the economist the world in 2017 issue, look at the magician card.

At least they leave space for added support after printing.

It's got a nice ring to it.

the chinesse method does that and then constructs in in "blocks" it doubles the time to build but when its 24 hours it does not matter

The awesome thing about metal roofs is that you can funnel rain water into storage tanks without worrying about tar and shit getting in it. With a big enough roof you can get enough water to have flush toilets and running sinks for a family of 4. As an added bonus the water doesn't come with all of the crap that city water does, but it's still nice to run it through a filter before drinking if only for the taste.

Agreed, I almost settled a micro house on my father's land but decided against it after hearing about the pre-built panel houses that cost around $20k and include solar panels. I'll hold out even longer until this tech is viable, hopefully within 3 years.

If you lived in a hot and sunny area then solar panels would also be extremely useful.

an average house is now made with 2x4 pine wood, plywood, sheetrock and insulation. That brick facade doesnt really protect you from much. Id bet these printed houses made with a good concrete like mixture would have stronger walls. Not to mention the roof. Roofs now leak a few years after being built before they need repairs which is fucking stupid. they literally dont make them like they used to. Theres no way a 3d printed roof could be worse than plywood with construction paper, tar, and shingles all assembled by Juan and Paco for 10 bucks an hour.

looks like a closet

That looks like ugly orange spic shit. Round walls are a meme.

I've seen chinese companies that print classical looking buildings. The one in the video was only $161k. Smaller versions are going to get very cheap. I'll be able to live in a roman villa pretty soon.

...

Any videos of stress tests?

I used to live in a brick house with walls that were a little over a foot thick (two bricks deep). We built it that way to stop AK-47 bullets, but it was also INCREDIBLY well insulated from the outside climate. No matter how hot or cold it got, the house stayed roughly the same temperature always. The only roof was metal, but between the metal roof and the living space we also put fiberglass tiles like you'd find in an office – those tended to trap hot air up in the "attic" and leave cooler air down in the living space.

Water came from the roof and storage tanks. Power came from solar panels and a bank of 18 lead acid car batteries with a big heavy duty inverter to produce standard AC. Switch on the inverter during the day for power, turn it off at night – but we also had DC jacks in the wall too incase we wanted something powered at night too.

We also had heavy wrought iron bars on the windows, for the aforementioned AK-47 reasons. You can never be too safe in Africa.

This anime courtyard building was only $60k.

That Chinese building is probably much cheaper. I don't know how good Russian tech is with quick buildings but the chinks are pretty good at it since they had/have to build a lot of stuff to catch up.

Do not fall for this, after the printing process only the unpolished walls were finished. The house looked like in the chinese picture (im1):

The total cost is much higher ~ 100k.

no pics of the rest? where's the bedroom?
what's the batrhoom look like?
the kitchen tells you nothing.

Can someone explain to me why this is a good idea. Prefab housing yes, but 3d printing them…
Why would 3D print a wall that is in essence a 2D shape that can be easily obtained in any material you want. Wood, metal, plastic, even concrete panels.
And then there is the fact that any wall in the more civilized parts of the world consists of different materials. They have some insulation for starters.

Was about to say comfy but then you said Africa. Did you murder any niggers?

It's a single bedroom house. You probably have to purchase a sofa sleeper.

Eliminate transport costs.

At least it won't catch fire :^)

Same reason all 3D printing exists. Extreme customizability. Pre-fab stuff has one shape, one design, but with 3D printing you can give it anything and it'll shit it out.

No we bought Christian religion to them. Didn't stop us from being prudent though. Armed guards, steel wire fence with barbed wire on the top, rounded with dense hedge to keep eyes out. African workers were well paid and fed and treated with respect, but they were not permitted to step foot inside of the house. It was basically a colonial lifestyle.

House actually stopped bullets on occasion, once when we fired a night guard for drinking on the job so he came back a week later, drunk, and started taking potshots at the house and the new night guard.

Aesthetically disgusting. You could live in a clapboard shack for cheap, but why would you want to?

Even if thats true, which I'm not sure it is, this method is far more scaleable. If you can do this in a day think what you could do in week and for a fraction of the current price.

Not sure what that has to do with anything were talking about fam.

Do you really want to live in a shipping container? Not to mention that method of construction is much more restrictive in options for floorplans.

Steel prefab buildings are great for industrial commercial uses but definitely not cheaper when you factor in they have zero insulation and you would need a secondary inner wall it make it a home like space.

$10k printed shacks in California — meh.
$10k printed shacks in Russia? Are you serious?

you might have to fill me in on that

you can 3d print whatever you want, cost just goes up

$10k is without the windows, door and floor. Furthermore, all the walls have to be polished after printing.

You would still have to transport a huge 3D printer.

Show me.

Lol ok. Have fun dying in a molten blob of superheated plastic fumes.

L.O.L.

Friendly reminder that NEET is neither encouraged or welcomed here.
Please see your neighborly fascism thread for guidance. Thank you.

One of the reasons Bucky's domes didn't really catch on, besides leaking, is that round shapes, or any none rectangular are not really practical in housing.
Besides that this seems to be, at least partially, marketed to lower budgets.
As for the custom shapes, it looks like it can't really do overhang, since the "ink" would just run off.
With flat panel prefab you have less transport issues and can still achieve great cost reduction and quality.

Just tape 3000 AA batteries together. It's literally exactly the same fucking thing.

You'll be able to die in a pile of rubble pretty soon.

Pump American concrete through the nozzle and you're good to go.

3D printed objects are a weaker integrity then doing it "the old fashioned way"

Why the hell are you faggots even happy about this? Now manual labor for construction will soon be phased out and you'll have a massive schism where the vast majority of people who need the manual labor to get their foot in the door with a trade career are pretty much screwed out of one of their only valid options.

Yea that would be bad. Who does the electrical in these things?

Just print cylinder sleeves in the walls, to pour concrete and rebar pillars.

Pretty sure these are all printed with concrete.

...

...

The Russians directly 3D printed the concrete, and then once that was done just pulled the 3D printer out and slapped the roof on.

kikes fear 3d printed houses. it basically ends poverty

Doesn't look very sturdy and seems they're trying to hide the lower wall from view. Also,

Yeah. This is a reddit tier topic.

Poverty has nothing to do with lack of housing dumbass.

found JIDF

You're really retarded aren't you?

These tiny houses are not THAT bad.

Must be shills sent in to prepare us for our hamster cages. You can paint them any color you want! No, no thank you.

...

nice reddit thread, OP

these arent for humans, they are to be sold to 3rd world shitholes like mexico to stabilize them.

Never underestimate an enemy, you fucking idiot.

Great Idea. All we'll need to do is charge Mexicans 40k for these 10k houses to put them into debt, and introduce degeneracy such as Feminism.

Who dosen't want to be NEET? Are you kidding?

The jews already did that for us.

Provide evidence that chinks are capable of quality in any form. We have SEVENTY FUCKING YEARS OF EVIDENCE THAT PROVES YOU WRONG. Eat shit.

build the wall, make mexico pay for it. then 3d print favelas and make mexico pay for them.

I'm going to pirate a house and a robot

Look at that floor plan and tell me you'd want to live in there.

Would you fags rather be wage slaves? I have 40k in the bank right now, I could get one that is 1200 square feet and be free from the Jew debt.

Its bigger than what I got now, and pay 12k a year to rent it

That about sums it up.

Already a reality in places like Hong Kong.

exactly.

the kind with an artificial womb?? 3d printed women are going to replace biocunts tbh.

Just use 4-8 deep cycle batteries for a fraction of the cost.

I know. I've learned from the experts of subverting society.

By the way, a good percentage of Mexicans make less money in a day than what it costs to buy a gallon of gas Mexico.

They can already 3d print organs for humans…. 3D printed robot with 3d printed ski and 3d printed lady parts, supported by 3d printed organs.

Actually, that's a p. kewl idea. brb…

...

No. We're going to force the Democrat voters to pay for the wall seeing how their party officials promised the republicans they will secure the border for Reagan Amnesty.

I've been, its a shit hole, most of the houses don't have windows on them just empty space

Or you could build a house for less. One that isn't retarded (circular literally being the least efficient for usage of space possible for a house).

why dont we 3d print the wall and make it absolutely fucking massive? like bigger than the great wall of china. wall of the northern border too.

then 3d print gas chambers and deal with the degenerates.

The technology will improve.
They're now 32d printing rocket engines, and working on 3d printing turbine blades that are sold in pairs for 20k for each pair.

This building is 3d printed.

They used rammed earth to build the Chinese wall.

I like timber framed homes and can appreciate the skill and joinery needed to build them. Even small ones made from local timber.

In a kiked economy every thing has to be built fast and cheap.

collinbeggs.com/house-of-good-cheer

checked. mexicants btfo when all our cheap labor is done by machines anyway.

It's bigger than what I have as well and I sure as hell wouldn't want to live there. That floor plan is unlivable and wastes plenty of space. It's ridiculous.

This isn't even new technology.

I gotta say though, unless you want to live like some 3rd worlder or in a cheap;y-made post-WW2 home, this is shit.

This

These also.

It's like saying: "Yeah, why build homes guys, we have factories that perfected the art of making boxes out of cardboard already.

Wow, nice!

I fucking hate how people go out and buy a farm property with a nice timber framed barn that's a century old, and they let the barn fall apart because they're too cheap to spend 5-10k on a new roof, and they go out and spend 20k on a new pole barn.

yeah probably. thats a problem but could also be an asset if you were selling them to 3rd world shitholes and wanted to fuck with them.
everybody wins

I've looked into, its not that cheap, even for 500 square feet.

Only way to do 500 sq feet with 30-40 k is trailers or mobile homes.

That's not a home, that's a moderately large room

Yall niggers must work in construction or something, you just 3d print a bigger one fags

Have you seen chick commie blocks ?
They start to crack within a few years
They where not even built to live in the first place just "mockups" to boost GDP

Yeah for 10k I could build something much bigger and fancier, and I only have minimal training
However, it would take much more than 24 hours.

So that's what this is really about. Time.

It is crazy isn't it? I have seen some beautiful timber frame barns torn down here in the midwest.
There are some people trying to save them.

trilliumdell.com/

>Your house can't withstand a catastrophe and that's why it's shit
Take $10000 and go 3d print a house in tornado-infested haiti you cuck

Correct! Round wall rooms are expensive to furnish efficiently. Rectangular furniture and round walls don't go together.

Depends on what you want from the wall and how curved it is. Gentle curves do wonders for many homes, especially for homes built into hills.

How in the fuck are these trees still green?

That's how retarded you sound.

$1000000 gay robot
$100 axe
you tell me, faggot

...

You must not have any birds that fly over your roof and shit in your area I assume?

Goddamn pole barns are the biggest pieces of fucking shit. Almost every farmer in the last 10 years has fallen for this meme because they were drunk with cash. Cut all the trees down and filled their new pole barn with shit they will never use enough to justify the purchase.

Nigger a robot arm costs like 50k max. Now all you have the pay is pure material, electricity and logistics to build one house in a day. Let's say the material cost of one house is 10k, plus paying electricity and logistics say the pure price to build one house is 11k. If you sell that for 16k, you make 5k profit, which means in 10 fucking days you already have paid off your robot. Now keep building and you'll be nearly a millionaire within half a year. Try doing that with your axe mate.

It looks like shit.
Soulless shit.

Where's the OP of the European Architecture genocide thread?

You can use ECC concrete (it's concrete with steel fibers in the mix) - it actually holds up better than reinforced concrete because it's slightly flexible, you can bash it with a sledge hammer and it barely chips.

(checked)
add 50 to your 20k picture and then you are in the ball park

They are probably willows.

Eh, it's better than a studio apartment. I wouldn't mind living there by myself, especially if it's actually affordable. However, putting aside it's sturdyness or lack thereof, how could this even be practicality applied? You still need land to put it on. Where are you also going to get a comparatively priced tiny plot in a not dreadful location? Is this anything other than showing off their tech? This doesn't seem practical.

this so much

Also what about water, plumbing and electricity?
Might be a good show off concept for making quick mass shelters in the third world when desaster strikes.

Then rev up the free 3D programs and design anything better.

Is everyone just ignoring the fact that the majority of the reason that houses are expensive is the real estate and taxes?

In more expensive cities, the difference would be completely negligible.

Right? Yeah I totally want to set up a wealth of utilities in a new area, for my 400 square foot home.

No fuck concrete.
Use wood.

We don't need "24 hour houses" we need less third-worlders, we need less skyscrapers and more land and forests.

We already have some great stuff for that IIRC, containers that take no time to set up, much less than 24hrs.

Whatever material you use, the larger point is that yeah we don't need quick build homes. This isn't presented as emergency housing. But why are you only putting a day into what seems to be an at least semi-permanent fixture? How precious is your fucking time that you that you can afford and need a room-house in 24 hours, which by the way would be done weeks before every other part of the new home process is complete. At least in America you need to buy land and get permits and all sorts of shit.

No, fuck you. Concrete is pure white clay. Clay so white it had to be invented by whites.
And you can furnish the interior with wood if you want you unimaginative fuck.

...

Yeah I agree, I mean as someone studying towards the building industry of course I find this interesting, but it's more of a gimmick I feel.

wew lad… way to get personal in an instant. Not even going to acknowledge how much you hurt my feelings.

You do realize I am talking housing, not governmental buildings?
Of course the colosseum is a beautiful structure.

**A wooden colosseum with the same if not higher level of detail with woodcarvings and what not would be awesome though. You can't deny it user.
Feel the wood user, feel it inside of you.
Faggot**

Hey I fucked up, what do you know.

seriously, 3d print the fucking wall.

Larger houses like five story apartment complexes use a concrete groundfloor and the rest in wood both to support the structure and save money.

If you have to build up and stack people, that's a pretty aesthetic way to do it.

And for that I could see this being relevant.

I wonder how high it can build, and if it can build "around" reinforcement sometimes. (I know eec is an option but it's not as flexible right?)

Because a normal home costs half a million fucking dollars and tech like this makes it possible for a normal person to own their own home.

It's a gimmick.

If you aren't planning for a fascist future you don't actually believe in it.

Oh my fuck, this, please. Also, places like the US and China already have more housing than citizens, so I'm not sure who the market is for EZ-bake living spaces.

There won't be one if we can't actually have white children now. And without affordable housing we can't have kids.

1.People can't afford existing housing
2.Islam will make you run out of houses very quickly

And each of those buildings probably only lasts 15 days.

...

Wouldn't excessive supply drive down prices?

80% of the cost of a house in large cities is the land

Why are you accepting that reality?
For the same cost you can build a nicer house with concrete or wood or better a mix of building materials, the same size of maybe bigger, that looks nice and has a soul.

I always thought the big issue today was land, if I had land I'd build a small house in an instant.

Good point, but we can change things too, let's not put all our hope in our children like our forefathers did which is why everything is shit now.

God bless prefab.

Looks like a Swedish prison.

Why the fuck would you want to live in a large city ?

Crush the urbanite.

Affordable housing is nice, but debt slavery is the root cause of poverty.

People will be able to buy normal homes without mortgage. Expect banks to fuck with this.

De-centralization.
De-urbanization.
Re-invigoration.

They've reinvented the trailer, just smaller heavier, uglier, and more expensive.
Way to go Russia?

Finally, proof of the 6 million.

After more than 70 years the ground still runs red with the blood of jewish holocaust victims! You see that square landmass? That's where the camp used to be.

Shit like this isn't going to do anything about housing prices. The house is never the expensive part - the expensive part is the land the house sits on. This is why you see so many fucking McMansions - People flee big cities for cheaper suburbs and small towns, yet still spend the same amount on a house. The result is 4000+ square foot monstrosities occupied by two people.

Like living in a chinese video game. Doesn't sound good to me.

Enjoy having no electricity most of the time for your meme house.

So you like living like a nigger?

Hehe, stupid goy, we'll just make it illegal to collect rainwater. :^)

Kill yourself.

Oven yourself.

Yeah, that looks great. Ugly retard meme shape, huge zero-privacy windows at the front, sandniggers for neighbors.

My apartment is bigger than that. This is $10k for a meme house with about as much living space as a $2k/mo JYC shoebox apartment.

Pick one.

You forgot to mention the yids.

Own their own 400sq.ft. home, where everyone renting outside of JYC and LA has a bigger apartment. You may as well be pushing for converting many hotels into full-time living quarters.

Nigger, nothing about living in an apartment stops you from having children. Nothing about not having a meme printed house stops you from having children. Stop being a retard.

Are you deaf to the sounds of cackling and rubbing hands?

What's the matter user, don't you want to live in a plastic cage? It's cheap and customizable just like you!

What's the matter user, don't you want cruelty free food? It's genetically modified and sustainable for the environment, just like you!

What's the matter user, don't you want a universal basic income? Sure it removes all incentives to work and improve your life or start a family, but housing is cheap now, and we make food in labs in every city, and you hated working anyways right? You have so much more time for your hobbies now, like playing these videogames and watching these movies and tv shows, we made them just for you, look all of the characters are just like you!

What's the matter user, we gave you everything, why are you not happy? Well, assisted suicide is legal, if… if you think it's for the best, of course not everyone wants kids, and some people don't even want to live, were not life-prejudiced, please step this way towards the gas cha- I uhh mean the transition rooms.

Slowly but surely, the road to hell. I don't know about you faggots but I know where I stand, and it's not with these communist fucks who want to destroy humanity because of a deep-seated inferiority complex and personal death wish.

I'm guessing you don't live in the US. Housing prices are inflated despite the housing bubble bursting about a decade ago. There are rows and rows upon block and blocks of new empty houses that families where both members have salaries can never afford.

Seriously where the fuck do you live?

First of all, what the fuck are you doing ya goon?
Pick one or two posts, this just looks like you want to derail.

Second, solar power (with pellet electricity in the winter) can power a household in Sweden with three times the energy to spare.
Sweden is a dark place, in more ways than one, but in this case I am talking about solar hours.

I have no qualms with the rest, except your tone trying to derail an interesting thread.

Ten shekels say a mod will bumplock soon, because of this goon.

because it's cheap

I bet you feel some wood in you.
With all the browns deported we'll have room aplenty to each live in our own personal Acropolis.

...

Are you frigging joking? Now is the time to get trained as a 3d-printer operator. Would you rather complete against Manuel as an operator of that kind of sophisticated machine or a nail gun?

Are we really at the point where niggers like you are crying "goon" over making one post instead of spamming the thread with one post per single-post reply? Shilling is getting pathetic, you don't deserve whatever half-shekel ration they're giving you.

that actually sounds more sensible. or use the printer to print a wax outline of the whole house then pour concrete into it and then melt the wax away.

...

I like wood though, plus it bind up carbon.
Why can't we have both?

this show was a subtle and elaborate defense of japanese imperialism which today disguises itself as a democracy.

Please do so and report back. I am interested too but want to see it work outside of a promotional video first.

sounds about right.

Reported. Go back to 4chan and never return, you disgusting NEET parasite.

Who are you quoting?

while I agree that pic is beautiful, the idea of my house being fireproof appeals to my practical side.

Those aren't trees.

If you get close they wrap around your legs and drag you in the digestion pool.

That's beautiful.

How new are you?

Who was that quote from?

gg

How do you retards not understand what greentexting is? What website did you come from?

top fucking kek

I wasn't expecting this thread to be anywhere near this fun.

You might as well call it meme arrows like the rest of your kind newfag.

kek

This.

You evil bastard.

That's not a house, more of a bungalow. 10,000 is a little steep actually, especially considering the questionable materials they used. You could build a brick/cinderblock house that size for cheaper, a wood and stucco that size would be incredibly cheap. Of course there's pre-manufactured options like trailers and portable homes as well.

Building a house isn't expensive, problem is everyone wants mcmansions. Even that isn't expensive if you buy a plot of land outside the city, hire a construction company and DIY as much as possible.

time to go back to halfchan.

This. It isn't the cost of building the house. It is the cost of land and bureaucracy and paying the nigger and spic tax. This stuff is cool science and it is nice to see it progress- don't get me wrong, but it doesn't tackle the true issues.

If you actually read the article, you'd see it uses a concrete mixture.

How is any of that bad?

lmao
lurk moar user, this is just pathetic

reported & hidden for thread derailment.
lurk more.

He's started gore spamming

my sides

they don't eat dirt

...

Implying 4cuck parasites aren't here to stay.

Less efficient than hiring a company from Russia to fly their giant arm machine out to me to make my circular bungalow house? The materials cost 10k, when demand rises that shitty bungalow will cost over 200k. We're not to the point technologically where this type of manufacturing is feasible.

As for the withstanding a tornado bit, you'd be surprised how cheap it is to have a bunker installed on any property that can withstand a nuclear holocaust. I think the cheapest would be 3k bare bones.

wewlad. gas yourself

You don't even know what I'm talking about do you, 4cuck?

who are you quoting?

This is some good shit.

SPOOPY EYELESS DREAMS, INCOMING!

The most expensive part of having a bunker is having a well designed ventilation system so you won't die from noxious fumes.

That's what i'm saying, my arboreal friend. Wood has specific properties that we still can't replicate artificially. I imagine taller structures will be composite wood/steel/plascreet, where what we currently pour concrete for is simply printed in the future. Making forms and waiting for concrete to set is a real bitch and takes a lot of time.

Where the fuck did those gore pics come from? (((The elites))) shitposting OC from their human sacrifices to Moloch?

I feel like 3d printing hinders the artistic expression and thus the soul of a building, as a frame to build on it's fine, but even the colosseum was decorated with marble and what have you.

Better yet they need to go into the.

>>>/oven/

Cool shit.

Ok, then have fun dying in super-heated plastic fumes with concrete insulating your lungs.

isn't always used as a quote. Holy shit, you are cancer. Sage because this is derailing the thread.

Nigger, you don't know what gore posting is? I guess this is a raid.

What the fuck is going on in this thread? Astroturfing?

Degenerate cancer that doesn't belong here. >>>Holla Forums

...

4cucks are shitting up the place.

The end of work is near, just let robots do the nigger work while anons do self improvement and family betterment.

...

Good job finally using jewgle faggot.
Now stop derailing.

put a plastic bucket out side for a few years then try to use the bucket the bottom drops out and the handle falls off.

plastic will degrade over time and leaches out chemicals..xenogeneics ? i think thats the word ?

Are you being ironic? No artificial wombs aren't a thing yet. Yes you can print a fembot but you gotta have a robot fetish for that.

I'd only be interested if they could 3D print one with a basement.

Although, if I wanted a completely "underground" house (to save on heating and cooling), I suppose I could just have one printed and then bury it in a hillside.

they probably could it doesnt sound too hard.

BUBBLE Wrap BATCHELOR PAD BUMP

Well definitely. The biggest advantage to printing concrete is the time saved on the stupid bullshit with walls and foundations. Even OP's pic has decorations and finishings. I think every man should build his own home and this would certainly make it more economical and the end product would last longer then if I had thrown some concrete on top of stones in the dirt.

that type of house is just a meme which will fail. houses are built how they look because a house is a system of various technologies which are continuously repaired and upgraded. the box is the most adaptive shape for interior rooms and additions. the dymaxion buckminster fuller house already was tried.

scientists should stay in their little labs and stop fucking around with the crafts tbh

wew

...

Nigga like, just rent a digger

those are fun until you want to put on an addition

Keep in mind it should quickly go down in price if the technology catches on. The materials are relatively inexpensive, the labor is fairly uninvolved, and the housing market is so awash in government meddling that it's bound to be subsidized in some manner.

You're definitely right about the McMansion craze, though. I hope it's a dying fad but I'm not confident in that being the case. Modularity may help with conspicuous consumers but I'm sure the desire to own a traditional looking house (even if it's a thin facade) will never go away.

but wait, theres more.

Bullshit building houses is cheap…the fuck is wrong with you?

there are also rows and blocks of empty houses owned by banks that you can pick up for a song if you're willing to do a little negotiation and home-improvement. Your jewish Realtor (and mortgage lender) makes less money selling you that one so it's the last one they'll show you.

You can purchase a used RV for less than $10k which is about the size of your average efficiency and best of all it's on a set of wheels to where you can just take off to the next town if you want to.

Oh boy, can't wait to get me one and also have a solar roadway for my driveway!

WE WILL BUILD CITIES IN A DAY.
MAN WOULD COWER AT THE SIGHT.

That doesn't mean jack shit. They've been doing this in China for ages by mass producing parts of homes and skyscrapers they can build like a lego.

The real cost of a home isn't the home itself but the land its built on. That's why you have all these companies buying up farms and "houses" only to tear them down to build a strip mall. That's why I can buy a 8 room 7 bathroom house in the middle of bumfuck nowhere for what it would cost me to buy a half room cuckshed in gookcouver. This isn't even adding to the fact you have to add in your home needs to be up to code and all the massive taxes you'll potentially need on it that adds to the price of a home.

See. Same old gook shit.

...

Daily reminder that gorespamming is pushed by shills with the directly intended effect of shitting up the board. It is no better than spamming nigger porn. Saging for off-topic.

do you even lift?

thats why you 3d print gas chambers first.

chinks are terrible with construction. it's not that they don't know better, they just don't give a shit. if they can save five cents using chicken wire to wire a building they'll do it.

I'm pretty sure the Russian company is planning to sell these machines to USA contractors that you can hire locally.

Chink construction catches up by cutting corners. Just look at how they source steel.

I'm sure the jews already told their best goyim to figure out a way to make those houses cost a quarter of a million dollars in 10 years.

It's illegal to collect rain water in some states, including Washington.

Bullshit…land is cheap as Hell where I live…5 acres for about 20k.

A decent house is still more than 150k. Houses are fucking ludicrously expensive. Land is not.

Fact is I make about 65k a year…and I doubt I will ever be able to afford a house for my wife and 2 children. EVER. Unless it's in nigger and a pic land where my daughters can get raped.

If getting land and building a home was easy we would do it. But it's not. Building a home is fucking too much money.

You're not paying for the house, you're paying for land that isn't next to orcs. House prices are a clumsy attempt to re-implement segregation in a legal way.

that is what agenda 21 and agenda 2030 is all about, and why is places like aussieland a house cost 500k, because you can't build but where they tell you.

Again…bullshit. 5 acres for 20k. Yet even getting a fucking prefab on it will run you 130 to150k.
The land isn't expensive. The house is.

it would be easier to just deport them

yes he is talking about the city

Here's another option:

kodiaksteelhomes.com/images/media/video3-300.wmv
or
youtu.be/LUF1eZ_4bTc

(webm apparently too big)

Prefab steel-frame house-kit. Mail-order it and assemble with a ratchet set. No wood so it is fireproof. No plastic so your kids will be be hetero. Maintenance free and lasts forever (allegedly).

kodiaksteelhomes.com/models/

i looked into shotcraete dome homes as well before when I though Hillary was going to win and we would be in civil war 2.0

At last I truly see that houses are the problem and that all we need to do is add more regulations.

Because niggers can't ask their greatest ally for loans to move into h'wite neighborhoods?

Ever thought of learning how to build houses, and charging others slightly less than the competition for them?

And also a crane.

$4000/acre is not cheap. At all.

And I live right outside of a moderately big city (lexington) and housing prices are obscene to the point of being unobtainable…even with a greater than 65k income…

So yes anything ANYTHING to drive down cost is welcome…at this point I don't know what else to do for my family…were desperate for a cheaper option…I just need someplace to raise my fucking kids.

And these as whole spreading disinfo is disgusting…land is not the issues. The expensive cost of a home is why it stays out of reach…

rent a crane is a lot less expensive than a building crew tbh

Co.pared to the price of building a home yeah it's fucking cheap.

Home cost in America has 3 factors.

Take those 3 things and fuck with whitey and you get 500k shit houses just to avoid niggers.

Where did housing enter into the equation? I just said that $4000/acre isn't cheap. You can buy land out west for a small fraction of the price you quoted.

To build a home you need the following.
Plumber.
Electrician.
Carpenter…framing
Carpenter…cabinetry
Roofer
Guy who flatens the land.
Guy who makes foundation.
Architect who designs house…or a blueprint that costs a shitload on its own.
Drywall installer/painter.
Person who inspects for building code purposes.

And I'm sure there's more.

So yeah dipshit let me drop everything and learn a dozen fucking trades right this instant and build my own fucking house. You fucking idiot yeah just build a fucking house…genius idea…

Daft fuck

And I said that in response to the massive faggot who said the land was the most expensive part of a home…and I said bullshit.
Follow the convo.

At most you would want to hire electricians, plumbers and a roofer. Git gud city boi.

So yeah if these Russian dickheads can build a house for cheap, then your goddamned right I'm interested! Shit I'll buy an acre or two and pay for 3 of em adjoining with a neat courtyard in the middle.

Of its possible then yes encourage it. The land cost isn't the issue. The house cost is the massive issue. And if these guys can smooth land and lay a foundation and pop up a structure in a day or so at cheap ass prices then I'm most of the way there.

Wiring and plumbing and your almost done. It a fantastic idea. At this point I'm so desperate I'll take any sliver of hope I can get.

The worst part isn't knowing how to do all of that stuff, it's knowing whatever inspection codes you need to follow to get your ramshackle self-built dwelling approved by the government.

archive.is/c0h3u

Actually I can do framing drywall and painting dickhead but unlike your NEET ass I work 60 hour weeks.
And it took time to get good it those things. So.I seriously doubt you know half of that unless you were completely unable to hold down a job for any length of time (like a massive fuck up) and if you do it's likely half added at best.

So you git gud jackass. Because of you job hopped so much you think you can do half that with any reasonable decency then you'll likely half ass all of it.

Wow, you can screw screws, nail nails, and push a roller. Hardcore. Since you're not a fuck up I bet your 60 hours a week is doing you a good job paying off the mortgage you could've avoided in the first place if you'd had the skills to make your own shelter.

God forbid you want to erect a hobo tent on a watershed in California. There's probably a hundred endangered species there and your dwelling might impact Mexican migration paths.

Britkike detected.

Come on man…

Seems like there are more factors. Off the top of my head…

otherwise you could just go into the middle of the desert where I'm sure land is nearly free because there's neither water nor internet nor jobs nearby.

Nigger you're fucking cucked, my highschool education and degree cover 90% of those already.

You have the internet, it's the age of free and instant information. Also forget about asking anyone for help, you're completely alone in the world and that has nothing to do with the fact that you live in a shithole where an acre is $4000 starting and is only inhabited by retards that put up with that shit.

Or just pony up >$300k to pay others to build you a house that isn't made outta cancer blocks.

wew lad are you sure your house didn't give you brain damage

Yeah and don't even get me started on the workers' unions that push for more city ordinances in order to pretend to work harder. Had an union jew shilling all the way through the senior year and he came at me as soon as I graduated asking for some protection money.

sounds like he's ready to obstruct the enforcement action.

Think 300k is a reasonable cutoff point…

What fucking world do you live in?

fuck off fagit

I've read and seen videos. Chinese don't like maintaining homes apparently. They will let things decay especially exteriors. One of those white guys on youtube that lives in China made a video about it.

its the acid rain, the pollution is terrible in china, so why fix it

some massive trolls ITT

I would probably filter it, I've let rainwater sit that's come off my roof and it shit grew in it after a few days.

...

My dad actually designed and built the house himself (he's an architect), only contracting shit like plumbing and electricity to other people, and usually those he knew personally. I live in eastern europe, this was during the commie era, and all that shit still totalled at months of hard work and over $110k, price of land not included. And you retards think you can build a house yourselves with nothing but an axe and an erection, for $10k in modern US. What a fucking joke.

The biggest positie of this technology isn't that you'd get the house of your dreams, it's that one can actually buy a roof over his head without getting saddled with debt for the rest of his life. I suppose you faggots do not realise just how many people live in a shitty three room apartment which they have rented, which eats half their paycheck every month, and still consider themselves lucky since that's the best you can get unless you want to live with your parents or move to an utter shithole where the prices are low, but where there are also no jobs. If you can cut down the price of a house to just $10k, then a lot of those people can suddenly afford to have a property. They can save up to buy a small patch of land on the city outskirts, have this prefab built there, and not pay half their fucking earnings on fucking rent for a shit-tier apartment that's even worse than this 3D printed bullshit

...

Well, looks like we don't need cheap labor anymore. Is it time to send the visa workers back home?

...

I wish I could afford multiple rooms on half my paycheck, but I don't have a Ph.D.

Clearly you don't understand how cheap construction is in the US. I lived in Germany for a time and there were Americans who decided to move there, and always complained how difficult it was to do renovations and construction because of how expensive everything was. You honest to god can make a house for 10k in the US, and if you are in the right place you can buy a plot of land to build on for under 15k in the countryside. Don't assume the market situation in other countries fam, it's not always what you think.

...

...

The problem is (while they're worth it) those homes probably go for like $1 million for a modest cabin.

The problem is (while they're worth it) those homes probably go for like $1 million for a modest cabin.

It wouldn't take that much longer to build a small cabin.

But wow that sure is amazing that Japan can build a house in 1 day. With their population collapsing I can see the real need for creating homes at such a rate , for non-japanese.

Damn you can't print 3D ovens. Well ovens were never used in the first place and are pretty inefficient, with your 3D printed gas chambers if they were cheap enough they could just be considered disposable.

Then you could just use them and then dump them into the Marianas Trench, the pressure would do all the disposing, perhaps vent the gas first. Or not even use gas in the first place.

...

were they even trying?

all your going to do is the same thing people are doing for other industrial work spend 6 months getting government certifications like Toxic MSDS and CDL and other crap peices of praper that say you have the intelligence of a monkey, so you can literally push a couple buttons like youre fucking George Jettson

there are ton in the apartment building I'm in. the number one thing my maintenance friend tells me are the horror stories of how mangled the apartments are when these chinks move out. like, they don't clean, let mold grow; the works.

Seriously, there's a trend over there where the grills will sometimes take a pic of a dessert dish that looks really well decorated, or is really fatty and tasty. And like half of the Jap grills will find a fucking way to shove their mug into the photo making the desert not be able to be appreciated. Granted the attention whoring isn't as bad as their western contemporaries, but it's still there.

I still want to mix with one of them, all the western women I meet are fucking cock carousel whores who are not virgins
I'm also an atheist which makes it even harder to find someone who hasn't ridden that shitty line of thinking

Part of the cost of a house is the location and also constructing the foundation so you don't have your house just get toppled over with ease or sink into the ground.

If you wanted just a plain shack you could purchase a toolshed for a similar effect to what these people in Russia did and it would likely cost less.

huh, you must not have a deposit, chinks hate spending money they dont have to, standing behind them in a grocery store is a pain in the ass as they figure out their coupons right in front of the cashier instead of while waiting in line

Take your coffin appartments and shove them up your fucking ass, Globalists

Dirt is rock powder suspended in water and spaced with air. If you remove the two, you get rock. Then you can light it on fire for a few minutes and silicon in outer layer will melt and crystallize, producing solid crystal rock.

this tbh.

I would prefer a steel house over this 3d printed home meme bullshit. a steel house built using all american comfy steel. strong as fuck, comfy as fuck, basically fireproof, tornado proof, home insurance is low as fuck, can serve as a bunker in event of a large scale happening, lasts 100+ years easily, likely 200+ with proper maintenance. pics related.

Under rated post.

>minus the tens of thousands of dollars for the 3D printer, the various permits, supplies, land costs…"

I'll stick to a shack my grandfather made out of wood and iron. Thanks though

Maybe that's a good sign that your water is natural and mostly chemical free. You try to prevent stuff from growing in pools, but do you drink that water? Same kinda reason why people were so freaked out when mcdonald's fries don't have anything growing on them in a month's time. Yea I would still filter, but I think you're interpreting this a bit wrong.

Nigger, you can get 20 acres of riverfront property in Montana for as little as $40k, and building a cheap cabin or similar structure might run another $10-15k or so. If you raise chickens, grow lentils, potatoes, etc. you can cut your living costs drastically to less than $10k a year and enjoy the beautiful scenery and ZOG free lifestyle at a fraction of the cost of a McMansion or some other citycuck shekelfarming scheme. My plan is to save $70-100k from my current wagecuck job and live off grid on the nicest piece of land available with that budget while being as self sufficient as possible with food, electricity, water, etc. while working remotely via satellite internet connection. The only downside to this is the isolation but normalfags fucking suck anyways and you can always drive a couple hours to the nearest town to socialize.

might be wrong, but i thought that you didn't need electricians/plumbers ect. to work on the home in regards to "keeping it up to code". As a home owner you don't need certified credentials to work on those things, but a commercial building is another story.

Finish it in a limestone stucco/plaster and it would look pretty good. Like pics.

Enjoy your flimsy shit-tier construction, burgers.

There's a reason why concrete homes don't have rafters because most people would be hanging from them in the first week.

Here's a magical fucking idea for the retards bashing this. You can buy a cheap house, not be a slave to the kikes and then save up the money to buy a proper house since you no longer have THE MAIN EXPENDITURE weighing you down.
Just how easy of a life have so many people here had ffs, ridiculous rent/housing/mortgage prices are the primary factor in chaining us down to the kikes, name a single more egregious factor.
I aint saying these housee are perfect but the tech will undoubtably improve and hopefully you would only be living in one for a decade tops and healthwise, while questionable perhaps, its better than the cheap flats so many have to live in.

a huge part of the cost is time

see

It's concrete, once it's set there is no reason you can't just grind it flat with the same machine (or flatten in when it's not set, since it's obviously done in stages).

It's a tiny fucker of a house but there's no goddamn way it only cost $10k. The material costs alone for that amount of concrete far exceeds that figure.

...

I remember that post

Its roughly $100/cy for concrete, you think this tiny ass dwelling has 100+ CUBIC YARDS of concrete? The average concrete truck holds 10cy that means that tiny ass thing would need TEN truckfulls.

They say the house is 400sf, which using a simplified box shape for rough calculations would be 20'x20'. I'll be generous and say the height is 20' (though it looks like 12-14' in the pictures). So a 20x20x20 square. Lets say that square is a heavy 9in thick on the walls and ceiling and a solid 12in for the floor.
9in*20ft*20ft*5sides = 1500 cu ft = 55cy
12in*20ft*20ft = 14.18 yards
That is roughly 70 yards and is a very liberal estimate. If you watch the video you can see that they weren't solid walls either, they are hollow so would actually use less than half the 70 yards.

...

People who think like this need to get their hands chopped off. They obviously never used them or felt the deep satisfaction of manual labor. Fuck them.

I'm an automation engineer (one of my BEs) and I would never want to automate everything. Sickening idea.

Something looks off about her from her profile, my heeb radar is going off. I never know these days. Nothing lost though.

Construction in the US is not that fucking cheap…at all.

ivanka is fake plastic garbage

if all you fucks care about is cheap living quarters, just live in a fucking double wide trailer like a hick, more than triple the fucking space of that laughable concrete studio aprtment size peice of steaming shit called a "HOME", and you dont have to pay fucking taxes on it because its a none permanent structure, imagine paying taxes on some econo shit box horror smaller than most apartments that was extruded out of a machine like peice of plastic

also you can live on a boat and just rent a slip for avoiding taxes as well

I am sure you get much better yourself irl user.

capped

The high price of "a house" doesn't come from the cost to build it, it comes from the land value. Have fun putting up your cheap concrete cube on a piece of land worth an order of magnitude or two more. And that price was for just the concrete shell, using dirt cheap russian labor, you're looking at something a few times higher to actually finish it into a usable dwelling, and several times that for a non-shithole country's labor cost.

And you can buy a prefab for the same fucking price. This isn't an improvement on existing options in any way shape or form.

The houses aren't where the jobs are. Nobody wants a house in Detroit at any price.

not reading all that

Why Ivanka always dresses so sexualy? Does she want to cuck her jewish husband? I know girls that expose their cleavage, but not even as much as she does.

Do we even support her husband? Or the fact that she is slightly jewish herself?

Fair enough but you seem to ignore the foundation

What kind of Russian name is that?

Please don't post lewd pictures of the God emperors daughter(that would be all of them) for he may strike us down for impure thoughts.

~The Emperor protects

p.s. all the luddites itt, lol. I can see this new building method really taking off once it's developed a little more and can build a normal sized house in a short time.

this is so great. We can 3D print all our architecture that the Jews have destroyed in the last few decades.

I'm with you on that. Building it takes more than a day but so does living in it.

Of course goy, we cant have you being self reliant now can we?
Would you like to have a nice glas of fluoridated water?

End-stage Christian humanism was always synonymous with communism: a bunch of wretched hordes packed into the most horrid cheap conditions, eating the most horrid sustenance "food."

This shitty 3D printed house is actually an improvement from how a lot of people – who work jobs – live in big cities. Go take a look at the idiots in NYC living in little shoebox closets and trying to brag and glorify it on youtube about how proud they are that they "make it work." Such pride that when they take a shit or piss in their little toilet-sector of their shoebox, they then go to the kitchen-sector inches away to eat their microwaved dinner.

They probably can't discern the difference though from the scent of their shit or their dinner, so it's a moot point.

...

Or you could just take pre-rammed dirt (maybe we could call it "clay") cut it up into pieces (let's call them "bricks") and stack them. Genius.

In my country, repairing that would take 2-3 months

The best is where your bathtub is literally under your hinged kichen counter.

But to be fair they're probably not eating microwave food but rathet getting takeout. Using a microwave is for the hillbillies in the suburbs.

Do not fall for the tiny house Jew, Holla Forumsacks. You know where this ends of us? Fucking communism, living in tiny government owned 3D printed housing. Development in this must be taken with a grain of salt. This is NOT how Americans should live.

Saving the rainwater or recycle the old waters is not illegal in Queensland and powering the house with the solar energy is very popular because of the common blackouts due to bad weather or the power plant is unable to handle the large electricity supply output and input.

is that your OC? That's one of the best smuggies I've seen. But fix the misspelled "they're."

They didn't fix the pipes so that's why it took only two days.

Fixed.

also "taxing" in the second line.

and "getting" in the fourth line. c'mon guy :)

Fucking Photoshop. Fixed the duplicates, too.

this chinaman is a record manlet or the house is huge?

"they should have taken away?" they should have what taken away?

Haha thanks guys. Not my OC though. Source is unknown

The text should be bold like the orginal tbh fam

Just make sure you don't build magnificient buildings or put down roots in any communities goyim… you never know when we may need that land you're squatting on. We'll zone it and take it by force just to bust up your homogeneous neighborhoods, so just stick with your cuckshed housing movement and keep it on wheels.

3 dubs, two of them Hitler dubs, replying to each other. What is Kek trying to tell us?

As an electrician I really really hate timberframe

there are many reasons we don't do this

Ah that's right, the million restaurants in the city, and now food trucks as "the new restaurant" with cheaper startup costs and no risks (because Jews own not only all the houses, but all of the corporate buildings and plots).

They fight for true progress, the day they get to move into a dog kennel with a bed and a water bowl, and just go to a community toilet, shower, community wifi, etc.

Meanwhile their Jew boss has a spare 4br penthouse he uses just for fucking his $5k/hr prostitutes.

In my country, the government purposely never finish anything, so that they can get funneling more and more each year.

saved, shared, liked, subscribed, retweeted and up-voted

Checked.
Varies by state, county by county.
In most counties of WA, you need all home improvements inspected, and a permit for any construction.

It doesn't fuck over existing owners unless there are major improvements, but it does fuck over anyone that wants to build a house within certain counties.
You can guess who pushed for this.
kikes and whops

Basically this, where I am permits will cost you double, they will inspect everything you do and there are some components that joe everyman really shouldn't be trying that won't be allowed (main electrical service, gas, etc)

The deal with food trucks being popularized is more because it's expensive to do a restaurant in a building and the chef behind the place has greater control over the output of a food truck's food.

There's also just the problem that many restaurants make almost nothing on the food. Like I think it's Landry's Seafood Shack in Houston, Texas that had to reclassify as a bar due to selling more alcoholic beverages than food. Every major restaurant has to depend more on alcohol sales than on food sales. Whereas a food truck depends largely on selling food.

If we wanted to make restaurants more economically viable the easiest way would likely be to make it easier to get a liquor license so that places that open up could at least make some easy money on drinks while getting their food situation under control.

The foundation for something like this would be at most a simple shallow footer. I also left out some of the small internal partitions, however the extra wall height I added more than makes up for it, I'm going for rough order of magnitude estimate not a detailed takeoff with a full bill of materials. I would guess that the actual CY of concrete is about 25CY, far less than 100.

It's clear from the video that this method wouldn't work for high rises. There simply isn't enough structural integrity in this design which is one reason I think they are doing arching walls. They clearly aren't load bearing walls (aside from the ceiling/roof load). Another issue is to "print" concrete like this without formwork it would need to be extremely fast setting concrete and as such I think it is essentially creating one long continuous cold joint throughout the entire structure.

They are leaving out a lot of other work too. The concrete printer only did the core and shell, they still needed manual labor to skim coat/paint/seal the inside and outside of the walls to smooth and seal them. They say in the video that the printing method makes it "easy" to paint later on but there is clearly a skim coating step between the printing and painting. It also appears the roof was not printed and is likely wood trusses built by laborers.

Their price of ~10k is somewhere between a cold dark shell and a warm white shell. Perhaps a cold white shell. The price includes the core and shell plus the windows . Everything else shown (appliances, plumbing, electrical work etc.) does not appear to be included in that price.

Being built in 24 hours is kind of iffy as well. It is possible in a controlled environment where you have every single material on hand ready to go and the labor sitting there at the ready as well. In the real world contractors have benders and don't show up or they screw up and you have to find new ones, or the electrician will show up and claim he can't do his work until the plumber and HVAC guy are done and will just leave etc. etc. In many parts of the world you have to get inspections done prior to closing up walls and encasing electrical and plumbing utilities. This means you are reliant on government inspectors who don't show up on time and if they fail you it may take a week to get them rescheduled. You also have the issue of weather. You can't build this in the snow or rain so if you wanted to do it all in 24hr you would have to get everybody lined up on one perfect weather day…..OR build a tent around the entire operation which wasn't included in their price and would be at least $2k by itself to rent.

This is Russia, dumbass.

It was built in Russia in partnership with a San Fran based tech company. This isn't meant for Russia or the US though it is meant for everywhere.

3D printed walls in our lifetime
