If you're getting 1013 error with the latest tweaker chances are game guard reacts to something else. Maybe you have some cheat engine or overly agressive anti-virus installed. Try disabling/removing them.
Or some other MMO's anti-cheat system or

All the GN field does is rename the tweaker.exe into something else so GG doesn't pick it up.

But yeah GG is super aggressive, make sure you don't have even cheats for other games on your computer.

So I just tried out the new emergency mission…holy shit. I don't even know where to start with this madness.

Can someone who knows whats happening explain the DMC tier crazy going on? There were goddman dinosaurs, steam rollers, bears, helicopters, tanks. And then things got really wild. It really felt like a Japanese game.

For some reason installing the english and large patch along with the plugins let me play. Did a quest with no interruptions. I do notice that I got a GameGuard error report in the background but I haven't touched it. I'm still hesitant to install the story patch or update the tweaker but for now I can play.

Try the new emergency mission. Even having been exposed to a bit of the crazy in Tokyo it should be an interesting trip to be sure.

Look for "phantasmal battleship" if you're trying to find the boss for the alert.

Dark Falz are all generic PS bosses with tells and one-shots, basically they all fall in the formula of mini-boss -> real boss.

There are other EQs like tower defense and mook slaughterfests too.

Infinite tunnel means your files are corrupted. Run a file check. It's usually either large patch or english patch corrupted. So redownloading them should be fine as well.

I have a client order to do attribute grinding but for the fucking life of me I can't seem to find a weapon that I can attribute grind. I've tired to find info on this but all I can find is that you need to use weapons of the same type and rarity and one of them has to actually have an attribute. I've gotten a number of weapons that match this but so far none of them can be used. The fuck am I doing wrong?

To attribute grind you need the same weapon type and rarity

So lets say you want to attribute grind some 7* Dual Swords

Same Category + Same Rarity + Different Weapon = +1 Element
Same Name + Different Element = +10 Element
Same Name + Same Element = +Value of Fodder’s Element

Let me also stress that element % is basically a % damage increase = to your element value

So lets say you have a pair of dual swords that is 50 light element, it now does 50% more weapon damage against things that are weak to light. I took a nap at a time when I really shouldn't have and I've been playing PSO2 since launch, so shoot any more questions at me. I'll be watching this thread of awhile.

Both weapons must have attributes.

Note that you'll get the full element amount if you use the same weapon + rarity combo, as seen here.

You can still get old-style weapons through player shops and shit. Even the NPC shops sell them.

Attribute grinding is built into the normal grinding process for NT weapons. As long as the weapon you're feeding still matches the criteria I posted, it does it automatically.

As a matter of fact it does 50% more damage in general. Said 50% are drawn from base damage though, affixes and potentials not counted.
Elemental weakness adds 20% damage on top of that.

What is a good support partner for FO/TE ?

The only support partners worth a damn are TE or RA mains, since their damage is so low it doesn't matter.

TE mains can buff and heal and RA mains can WB things for you and piss off player RAs by overwriting their WB.

That said, you should just make your support partner whatever you want since you'll hardly use them.

I probably shouldn't have updated my video drivers because the English story patch seems to break them.

The game was working fine with the patch until I updated the video drivers. Now the game runs fine without the patch. But when I installed the patch again my video drivers just went ape shit without the game running.

I have to head out to work now. I'll try downgrading my video drivers to a previous version to see if that works. If not then I guess I'm playing story missions in Japanese.

Got PSO2 to work again.

Uninstalled and installed my video drivers to an earlier version since I can't roll back my drivers.

Turns out PSO2 does not like 1080p and high shading on my computer. 720p and normal shading looks fine.

Messing with the distance detail slider so I can hit that sweet. Other than that Vivian is at level 11 and got her MAG license.

Also TE can be made to hit stuff with their wand, and there are a lot of edgy wands out there.

Sega hasn't caught up to their own rebalancing updates. Techer is an alternate class that was originally unlockable once you hit level 40 force and complete a mission. Now you can start off as Force, walk up to the class counter, and select Techer.

I know this is an old post, but NP1013 error is most likely gameguard detecting something it flags from its late scan, and closing PSO2.

It's most likely PSO2 Tweaker.exe.
GN field is supposed to change the tweaker name, but sometimes it's iffy. Otherwise you might also have a tweaker.exe on some other part of your HDD you might've forgot to delete. GG will find that too. What this fag said is also plausible.

If you want a sure way to play the game, along with the plugins, start the ENB injector to launch plugins, and use the .bat method to launch the game.

Just use the tweaker to update the plugins, copy and paste them into the plugin folder in the ENB folder whenever there are updates. I mostly use tweaker now to uninstall/reinstall english patch etc whenever there is an update for the game available, along with the plugins.
After that I just zip up PSO2 Tweaker.exe into a .rar file, and unpack it whenever I need it.

Vivian guy here. Now I have to feed my MAG and I'm not what to feed it. I read to raise R-ATK you have to feed it 9 star weapons. But I don't have any.

Unless I can get another MAG to start over later I'm not willing to raise a shit MAG if I can't help it. Any suggestions for this one?

Feed it any ranged weapon to raise r-atk. Your dex will rise as well when you do this. Do NOT let your dex level, decrease it by feeding it 5* furniture.

Raising a mag is a delicate manner, you should really look up some in-depth guides.
Long story short it's easy to fuck up and a pain in the ass to fix.

I suppose I get 5* furniture from drops then? I'll try to feed it one gun once I reinstall my audio drivers. Trying to get PSOBB to work without sound disappearing.

Buy mushroom furniture from the furniture shop. Its by the 7-11 in the shop part of the lobby.

You can feed it any star weapons you want. Its just its easier to do it with higher star weapons because they give more. You can probably find some shitty 9* guns on the player market for the minimum price.

Talk to the lady pudding in the gate area. She'll have 3 variation of sheets, and they show an expiration date. You have to do certain EQs to increase one of the sheet gauges, while killing other monsters from certain quests to increase the other ones. Using 250% RDR fills the sheet faster, and stacking more RDR also increases it quicker.

The sheets should give you a recommendation of the places to go to kill the monsters.

Ahh, one more thing. Once you max out a bar to 100, the next mob that fufills the bar requirements will drop that item.

You can complete a bar without grinding if a mob naturally drops that item.

Shift + m2 is homing missles.

On your hotbar,

Note this only applies for AIS for yamato. For other EQs the skills are slightly different.

Yep, even though other races can wear cast parts, they're full outfits so they can't mix and match torso/arm/leg parts like a normal CAST can.

Looks like I might not be able to play this game in English. Why? I just got a BAD_POOL_HEADER crash right in the middle of a boss fight. And when my computer restarted it seems Tweaker didn't return.

So now I guess I have to figure out if that left some corrupted files on my computer. If it did then I guess I'm just playing the game in pure Japanese after this. Might have to quit.

I'm using the Japanese launcher to check the game first to see if it has any problems. PSO2 in general has been giving my video card problems. I'm hoping it's just tweaker.

I'm not a computer guy, but you should first
1) double click gn field (located within your pso2 tweaker folder)
This will make it so that dontnoticemegameguardsempaiplease is renamed into the tweaker

2)run the tweaker, and the click the grey orb in the upper right corner.

3) click troubleshooting or something, then click check for missing/deleted files. When thats done (about 20 mins) click the other old/missing files check and let that run.

this will take some time but it usually fixes most problems.

I have two nVidia GTX 670s which I can run with or without SLI. Though for some reason TES Oblivion doesn't detect my video card when I try to run it. I hope it's not the same with PSO2.

I had issues with SLI with PSO2. Not bluescreen issues, but issues nonetheless.
Use nvidia inspector to make a specific profile for PSO2 with SLI turned off.

Is there a way in the Episode 4 character creator to give my cast a human body?

Doing a file check in the pso2 launcher is 100 times slower than file checking with tweaker. Atleast from my experience. Just put tweaker back on ur desktop if you still can't figure out that tweaker renames itself when you press 'launch game' within tweaker because recently the antivirus rootkit that comes with the game will crash if it detects tweaker.

I was having issues with the tweaker renaming itself when i kept it on my desktop.
Try redownloading the tweeker and putting it in a folder of its own with administrative privileges.

I'm installing PSO2 on my games drive instead of my C drive (which is what I should have done in the first place). I did put tweaker in its own folder. I turned SLI off. I'm going to cap the framerate at 60 to see if that works better. I turned off indexing. And worst comes to worse I'm uninstalling my antivirus completely.

Other than that if I still get the error I'm running checkdisk and memory check. Which will probably be the end of me playing games for a while if I have to get RAM and a new hard drive.

As far as I'm aware, the only way to do it is through Cast versions of human outfits. And unless you're playing a Caseal/femCast, good luck with that, because only the ladies get any love with outfits (and it helps that they actually have human-like faces too).

If you already have the Ideal set affixed and the proper ones extended then you don't really need to bother with the saiki set. Otherwise have fun waiting years before anything can beat out saiki aka 12 star units.

I've only played hunter and I like it a lot, but I made a new toon and can't decide on a class. Forcer looks good but I'm a brobot, so I'd suck at it

CASTs don't necessarily suck at Force, they're just not built for it like the spess elves.

While Cast♂ don't have the racial stat for T-ATT that something like a Newman♀, it's not unplayable. The only thing is trying to use 13 star weapons early is a bit tougher compared to other races due to the low stating even with a level 200 mag.

I need to know what the little bar is that charges when I kill things.

And I need to know what the mechgunners skill thing is/does.

The little bar above the weapon slot is the gear for that weapon. It charges up when you deal damage to enemies and increases your damage.

The skill is Chain. What that does is places a mark on the enemy that stacks up when you use normal attacks on it (up to 100). You pop it when you want to by using a PA and it will increase your damage by a certain amount based off of how much you built up on it. People in the party can also help build it but just remember that just because you can go up to 100 chain doesn't mean you should.

You get to be a weak bullet slave. You will either get scolded or praised.

Grinders are used to grind your gear (weapon, units and rings). You should keep at least one stack of them.

This varies depending on your class. Somewhere around 3k ATK is probably the ideal amount of ATK. 2.4-2.6k ATK should be enough to deal decent damage.

Crafting with TDEF gives you HP +30, PP +3 and All Resist +4% at special levels. You should craft your units with RDEF (+10PP) or with SDEF (+100HP).

so no to Ranger? I think standing back and just shooting would probably get boring really fast. What about Braver? I think that's the name; the dude with the knives and bow. Are they and fun?

Braver uses superior nippon steel and the bow, the Katana's main thing is perfect guarding attacks, guard as you're about to hit to use it's gauge (it's called gear but gauge's more clear) to activate a super mode where you deal more damage and stuff on top of doing a counter move that deals a ton of damage. It's photon arts are also fairly interesting and are mostly about timing, like holding the button and letting go when the circle around your character goes red, that sort of thing.
Bow has the potential to do some serious fucking damage due to how damage calculation works. Being a bow it's mostly about charging attacks. The reason it can deal a ton of damage is because of one specific photon art that puts an orb on an enemy that you can shoot to deal damage to the enemy and store that exact same damage on the orb so that when it explodes it deals the same amount of damage you gave it, essentially doubling your damage.
Overall from what I played of the character I loved the Katana because of the perfect guard (and the fact that the scabbard on most of them's a goddamn shield, that's a cool design in my opinion) while the bow's fun but can require a bit of setup to go full nuclear with on but hey, at least you can shoot yourself as an arrow to hit enemies and shoot a huge beam of arrows ahead of you, those arts are great fun, almost as great as playing a Ranger and using the Rodeo art with the launcher where you just ride it like a rocket into the fray.

You won't get bored as a Ranger. Sniping stuff can be fun.

Braver has two choices: katanas and bows. Most people say that katana is boring since all you can do is just spam gurren tessen. Bow braver is mainly for killing bosses.

You can change your class any time for free in this game, so you can just try any class you want. Just make sure you don't feed your mag until you have decided your main class. However, you got three character slots so you can make three different characters with different ATK (S, R, and T) mag.

RATK classes: ranger, gunner and bow braver

what exactly is techer? Is it just a heal class? What weapons do they use?

Techer is a support class mainly because of its skill tree containing skills for supporting. Techers use wands.

You can also play techer as a melee wand whacker which makes melee techer one of the strongest mobbers. There are also some niche techer main class setups like techer/braver but this is not recommended for new players.

Didn't want to delete post so I'm just adding some here. If you go techer, your main role in emergency quests is to support other players in your MPA with techniques like shifta, deband, zanverse, anti, resta and zondeel. You will be mobbing with wand and your bossing weapon depends on your sub class.

Along with what the other guy said, techers also use talis, just like forces. Everyone says a talis using techer is just a gimped force, but they're forgetting the whole point of talises: remote casting of techs. In MPAs and emergency quests, a guy who can suck mobs into one convenient place, lay zanverse, buff, and heal without being near the enemies is a huge help. The JP community has long complained about the lack of talis techers supporting from a safe distance.
Also, don't let people fool you. A gimped force is still a force to be reckoned with. I play talis techer when I need to level it, and as long as I keep shifta strike up, I'm doing a decent amount of damage. As an example, the fire damage of my fomelgion against downed bal rodos is about 100K per tick. As techer, it's about 89K. Is it weaker than force? Sure, but 89K per tick is still respectable damage.

I went a very long time as a hunter-tank/techer. I managed to do it but I don't recommend it. Was fun for a while but I got bored being a nigh-invincible tank that could heal and support the party and they never had to worry about me dying. I could be in the front lines spamming resta/anti and shifta/deband. I guess it's fun for the power trip and being the party's backbone so if you want that then I recommend it.

That's just an accessory. You can choose whether to use the beret, 711 costume or 711 basewear. But we only use the 711 theme when the MPA has team members only.

Episode 2 is the high point. Episode 3 isn't bad, but it's not as good. Episode 4 is just a clusterfuck so far.

The gameplay is indeed fun, and there's barely any grind for levels. PSO2 takes a western approach in that you can get to max level pretty fast, and the real grind, the one for gear, starts from there.

7-11 is a convience store, not a fast food outlet.

Seriously, just use the official launcher and manually patch the translation or something. Gameguard issues are not hard at all to fix the once or twice every several years they pop up.
"But it updates slow!" The server typically isn't up for three or more hours after Sega releases the update. If your shit isn't updated by the time the servers are up, you probably have a serious problem with your computer or internet.

Being that my job in this game typically entails killing monsters I can pretty easily deduce that I want to protect "x" from monsters wherein this case "x" is the mining cylinders.

I can read the text on the computers of cylinders that show I can generate a shield or heal the mining cylinder so apparently I should visit the terminals intermittently to turn on shields and so fourth

Then some giant monster shows up at the end (I guess dark falz or something?). I just shot at the GLOWING WEAK SPOTS for maximum damage and then he died.

Twas very anticlimactic. I don't have to have the minutia of whats going on to enjoy the game and I understand I'm not going to get every scrap of text that the game has to offer unless I play the SEA version but that doesn't make it any less disconnected from the experience.

As for mining base, those shields are pretty important and each player only gets 2 to use per run. They don't even block damage, only freeze mobs that hit it while the shield is active and even then it does fucking nothing against bosses.

You should also know when to activate the bh robot and what to do when piloting it. Honestly I could write an essay for what's involved in demise.

About 65%-70% of the game is translated. If you care about the story, start from ep1.

7-11 is full because we only kick people who haven't been playing for over a year only when we need to recruit someone, so we have more than enough space. Just leave your playerid here, we'll get you.

Older ones are those before the translation team put a "patience, it's being translated" dick on the whole translation business half a year ago. So far they've only translated ep4 ch1 since then with chapters past ep3 ch4 being completely untranslated. Everything before that is translated so you can enjoy that and team can give you short version of whats not translated if you need ep4 a shit.

What about this semen demon and others like her? Sometimes these partners will have their text translated and sometimes not so I have no clue to what extent I'm supposed to have something translated.

Storywise, yes, at least for ep1 and ep2 all matterboard and blue chip cutscenes are translated.

For COs like Echo's, they seem to have done a half-assed job of it. Some are translated and some aren't, but the important bit at the end that tells you what to do is in english at least.

Read the thread. I had the same problem last week and am still not sure what caused my issues. The cause of your NP1013 might not be the same as mine. For sure though, something made n-Protect GameGuard upset with you, hence the code abbreviation NP.

If you're using the PSO2 Tweaker make sure to run it as admin. Someone I'm playing with had that problem after installin and that fixed it.

I'm going to be returning to this game after about a year off. I'm thinking of starting over fresh since I never really got very far with any of my characters.

Initially meh, but then when I got skills like heel stab and elder rebellion for the single target multi-hits, combined with chain hit and weak bullet plus all the bonuses from having ranger as a sub-class, means that if I stand still hitting a monster's weakpoint with it weak bulleted and the chain up I can easily reach 100k per hit on a 2100 r-atk character while hitting around 4-5 times a second.
With the 3 button mode and the skill they added that makes it so when you use a PA then use a different charge PA it gets insta charaged, it means I can dead approach my way into enemies, then heel stab at full charge and just fuck everything up, then just dead approach again to set up the insta charge. It's pretty fun once you start figuring out what works for you but it's kinda boring at the start when you're wondering how exactly do you deal damage with this shit.

I think it's lacking and not cute. Head seems too small, neck too large (neck is a problem for kyasts, default is never good), it wouldn't hurt to see the overall picture. Eyes are fine (1 "eye distance" between eyes) but the look isn't "cool", it's more like some ogre, maybe because of the lower lip and the chin? Try moving eyes up and down and change a shape of the face a bit, also try face types, they affect a lot. Maybe a bit longer face and larger features because it seems too wide with eyes too small - not anime eyes (not that I mind) but the distance between them and the side of the head is too large. Hair color is kinda bleak too, try moving sliders to see if there's something nearby with more impact that suits your taste.

p.s. after you start playing with character you'll be able to edit kyast and human bodies separately if you check some option, you'll need a Free Salon Pass for that, but you'll get one if you login on 7th due to some login campaign. It'll also allow you mistakes.
p.p.s. kyast parts differ in a lot, same as some costumes, so you'll probably make another edit if you'll use different parts.

Gu is stronk, has awesome everything and fun too play, too many pantsushots and edge though.

Keep in mind that your appearence isn't completely permanent. You can get makeover passes for free just by logging in daily.
They're actually giving one out for free if you log in on the 7th, for example.

Does anyone else have issues getting the items translated? I have the plugin enable in tweaker but it does nothing.

I haven't been able to tell yet. For some reason, the game crashes whenever I attempt to log in a character. I'm checking for old and missing files right now, but if that doesn't work then I'm not sure what to do.

Except that's how people are getting the new NP1013. Unfortunately it seems like Gameguard is one step ahead because I've reverted back to what worked last time I got NP1013 but with the purged proxy stats and it still gives me NP1013.

I appear to have figured it out. My task manager was active. I don't use the standard wangblows 7 one. GameGuard gets gayer every fucking day.

I installed the game with the torrent, I thought I had to use the Tweaker to patch since it was a replacement for the launcher. Are you saying I can literally just launch the JP launcher and get it to patch faster?

Then an error message comes up saying the updater.exe is not updated.

I've also been notified that it might fuck my shit up and force me to restart the download from scratch, at this point I'm better off just running the tweaker
