My favourite section of the original movie was when Helen had to go through syndrome's base solo. I also really liked seeing Bob struggle with domestic issues.

I think the movie will be shit. It won't be able to capture the magic of the first one, but Bob being at home and the movie being Elastagirl focused isn't really a problem for me.

Fucking hell, it's the Incredibles, not an Incredible. When we had a Bob-centric adventure last time it was him screwing up and the first step in unscrewing it and bringing the rest of the family in on it. This just undoes the basic gist of the first movie.

I've never understood the "art is bad" meme. His art used to be really bad, but he have improved a lot, bad anatomy can easily be dismissed as aesthetic choice in order to make things hotter unless you're an autist. Look at where the light source is and tell me that looks fine. The character on the left has light on her face when she shouldn't, and there is no logical shadow from her being cast onto the other character. It's bad shading fam, deal with it.

Pretty sure the problem is that he draws the characters first and then the background, and that seems evident seeing how there's light not only behind them but in front of them, and honestly that makes sense even when you don't see a light source right in front.
They have a nice body, except for Young April and only for the fucked up perspective. Third pic is from the same set and in a more natural position is doesn't look bad and, again, these are really old.
His improvement with shading helps with that, particularly with the old April. In fact, I'd say the problem is quite the contrary with young April, again thanks to the fucked up perspective.
Honestly, I'm not confusing you with anyone, but you try to see problems where there aren't. The picture is far from perfect but it's not terrible and it looks hot unless you try with all your might to spot errors. For someone whose reaction is only looking at it and being amazed by it only to move on, it looks fine, which is why I insist it's usually austists who tend to over criticize it. By looking at it you know Young April's breasts are off, but that's about it. There's still the existing problem of superheroes in the public sphere. It's pretty implied that they still have to hide. They just… Are happier when they hide, I guess? But ultimately they're still hiding.

Incredibles II can be good if they cover that issue. I imagine if it's about Elastigirl it would make sense. Rather than having a mid-life crisis like was the focus of Bob in the first movie, it could be about dealing with Jack Jack. She can't hire a babysitter. She can't give him to daycare. Maybe Bob's the only one that can actually keep him under control. So if they're supposed to hide their powers, how will they deal with the baby?

Sets up a good plot.

This will be The Mask 2 all over again :(
