While this is correct, I doubt it will work on most people if you just tell him. As most people don't act through logic and reasoning. They will probably agree with you, but on the inside they will think you are a jerk for telling them.

I think a better way to do it would be to casually suggest it and not telling him not to do it. This is in general, but still directed for you: Next time you'd like to jerk it if I may make a suggestion, work out and get that juice flowing around in your body, or get it over with quickly and take a bath and a nap.
