ITT: Your favorite Monster boss

ITT: Your favorite Monster boss.

Dancer was pretty cute when i first saw her.

we had this shit thread before
>>>/vp/
never comeback

You made this exact thread with the same pics a few days ago. it was a god thread, I'm ok with this

Spiderslut

The last thread wasn't me but good guess user.

You call that a monster?

why's 8/v/ so unfun? loosen out a bit.

Autism. And not the fun kind.

Obligatory Wraith-post.

Because you're the only one who haven't grown up

Oh fuck, that's why it seemed familiar.

At least this one doesn't have the asinine mistake OP made, last time.

It's a lot better than that amateur 3DPD shill that keeps trying to peddle his filth to everyone..

BANG BANG BANG

No they didn't
Because it was me

That dirty sonofabitch knew exactly what he was doing. God bless him.

Dancer's not much of a monster.

Nigger, did you pay any attention to the lore around Sulyvahn?

I love fighting this thing. I have a really tough time deciding between this, Tigrex, and Rathain, but smacking the shit out of this fuck and cancelling his rage is so satisfying

I don't care. She's literally just a giant human with a mask. Big whoop.

VRAOWAAAAH

Come on anons.

At least she's faceless, which makes her more exotic than Queelag, which is just /monster/shit, for weak plebs.

...

...

...

Let's face it, that'll only be half-decent if the japanese get to it, and they probably won't.

You're such a fag enabler.

the dancer was never a warrior until pontiff forced her to be one
she was transformed into both a warrior and a dancer, she was neither of those before

I want a footjob from a Rathian

From Software is a Japanese company, user.

It's safe to say that nothing's getting done of anyone, anytime soon, from what I've seen.

...

Literally a large human wearing a helmet, yes very exotic indeed.

It's a fucking spider, mate. What, you want me to say her pronouns right, next?

Hence, she was a warrior. The transformation of her being wasn't instantaneous, you know. She went on riding 'til she blew her fucking gasket, and her swelling form, fused to her armor, made her nothing short of a monstrosity.

i'm just saying, you make it sound like she was always a warrior when it's explained that she was a handmaiden

...

Even though the fight was fairly easy, I loved this boss fight. Riding Ruin around having to dodge and destroy ashworms was the best part of the game.

Well, you can call them by the faggy D&D name or the mythos name.

Or do you not read? No need to get autistic bro.

Do you have a giantess fetish?

It looks human, but it is most certainly not human, anymore. Do you also consider animated armour to not be exotic? This is pretty close to that.

She was a warrior, man. That's what matters. She didn't exactly grow several stories taller within a day. Shit happened over some time, as she continued to fight forever.

People here don't seem to realize that Pontiff Suylvahn made her into a stripper then monster because she was related to the royal family.

So technically one of gwyn's decendants.

Yup. Nigga also told Aldrich to eat Gwyndolin didn't he?

I wish they'd expand on this Profaned Flame. Shit seems to make everything that holds it lose its mind.

I'd fuq the dancer pregnant 20 times over, same with any Irithyllian.
Tall with hips for days is my fetish.

I don't think you've been getting the messages I'm sending you. This judgement of exoticism is from the perspective of appearance, alone. By the cover, I suppose.

In the end, an Arachne, Drider, or whatever is a very tried design. Lava-spitting is a cool addition, but in the end, the lithe duel-wielding dancer boss is a unique concept, on it's own.

Definitely not more exotic than an arachne.

Fucking Blemmyae are a more foreign concept to the human perception than some pair of tits on a cretin. At least that doesn't have some easily recognisable face to it right where you expect it to be.

thanks for sharing your wank fantasies

can you fuck armor though?

What the fuck happened to this thread?

Who's fetishising shit, now, you fucking prat.

Of course you can fuck armour, you goddamn dingleberry. That's the stupidest shit you could ever ask someone on this fucking site, in the first place.

Fuck your shit taste, and fuck dancer.

What the fuck did you expect?

Nothing wrong with fetishizing. I'd fuck the dancer too. And Karla, despite her being closely related to Manus.

Just imagine what kind of kinky shit she'd be into.

You know at the end of the day this sounds similar to "which is weirder?Top half human bottom half fish or bottom half fish top half human?"

Because essentially people here are finding dancer less "exotic" because of her familiar human form, thus they're focusing less on the armour.

Whilst you find the contrary because the Arachne has an upper half of a human, focusing less on the spider lower half.

Sure in terms of unique design the dancer is interesting since animated armour amalgamated with a human is interesting. But if we are judging "exoticness" on the account of how strange and unnerving a monster is, Queelag would win. Purely because
Dancer
This is all shit we recognise.

Queelag

I mean if I were put in a situation where I had to fight one of the two. I'd be a lot more intimidated by giant fucking spider legs and lava puke compared to big girl for you.

How did you not see this happening a mile away?

This is why you check your post kids.
Ignore the 'no'

She's got a human face that everyone pays attention to, a window for empathy.

The nameless dancer has no face to identify her by. Only a void. This, and her spindly, lithe form makes her very goddamn foreign to the human form. Far more than again, some lady's upper half on a spider.

People would be more easily fooled by the calming face of a woman than the giant thundering monstrosity stomping about the room towering far above you. Big fucking difference, when you're put into perspective.

you're just pretending to be retarded, right?

You've got no argument, mate. None.

whats this about dancer being animated armor?

did i miss some lore tidbits or somethin cause I thought she was like any other boreal outrider in that they all end up deformed and weird and shit like vordt and the irrithyl rapier and longsword dudes

She's like animated armour.

Ignore his retardation, for he is a fool.

o ok

she's probably a descendant of gwynevere because her soul description is
"The Pontiff Sulyvahn bestowed a double-slashing sword upon a distant daughter of the formal royal family, ordering her to serve first as a dancer, and then as an outrider knight, the equivalent to exile."

and you can trade it for soothing sunlight which was a miracle for gwynevere's covenant in dks1

and her crown's description says
"The mirage-like aurora veil is said to be an article of the old gods, permitted only for direct descendants of the old royal family."

There is no porn of this boss on the internet, what a fucking shame

Dancer might be a daughter of Gwynevere, like Rosaria and, possibly, the queen of Lothric. I wager it will be a major theme in one of the DLCs given how much of a fanwank the game's lore feels.

But judging from the amount of fan arts, looks like most are interested in giving their pickle pee to pump-a-rum.
And on a opposite note, barely anything on Yorshka but that's okay because she looks like a crappy fan character.

Not a favorite since I haven't even played the game but Senran Kagura 2 is worthy of a mention for the monster designs. They all got something sexual about them even if it's not immediately apparent.

>>>/vp/

what are these from?

Whilst I'd agree that yes a human face would be something I'd be drawn to. I'd find it pretty difficult to ignore the 8 giant hairy legs so I would not say the human part detracts from the whole weirdness.

You could describe Queelag as that as well. IIRC she wasn't exactly ant sized.

I mean on the basis of the fact that she's faceless I might say she's a lot more interesting.
But I'd argue the fact that I can empathise with Queelag as result of her human form, makes her a more intriguing boss to me. .

If I have read your explanation correctly(do forgive if I have made mistake) the dancer is more akin to a husk. This means that she doesn't resent her form due to the lack of emotion. To me the lack of resent means that when fighting her, it seems that she's just trying to exterminate you like a bug. Whilst that sort of mechanical behavior may be somewhat intimidating it does mean there is a lack of conviction leading to a lack of killing intent which, to me, contributes greatly to the overall aura of a boss.

Queelag on the other still retains some of her humanity and due to the circumstances of her transformation, resents her form. This resentment makes her strange because she is conflicted with the self preservation and self destruction. She bears no compassion for herself so I doubt she'd bear any compassion for me.
also
Something to note is that Queelag appears to visit her sister a lot. This means that a reason she fights you is to protect her from any potential threats. This combined with the idea that she disregards her own safety due to her self-hatred means that she would not stop at nothing to kill you, hence the killing intent is overwhelming in comparison to the dancer.

So I mean if we are talking about "exotic" characters, there is far more going on at the very least in terms of Queelag's character intent and emotions. As for actual appearances the whole idea that the dancer is spindly is just not enough for it to beat an abomination of magic.

I mean I see it as

She's still well designed mind you but since we're comparing she falls slightly short.

Sorry for the autistic essay, I like my vidya

I mis-interpreted.

nigger i said she was a handmaiden before she was a warrior and you're purposefully spreading misinformation
seriously consider reading things while you play souls games
just for a second
OR ARE YOU JUST PRETENDING TO BE RETARDED.

the whole irrithyl outrider thing seems pretty neat, I hope the expand upon that area in the dlc

second part meant for

Senran Kagura 2 (of all things, yeah).

If I remember the lore bits on the item descriptions well, the Dancer is a possible daughter of Gwynevere who was raised as a dancer by Pontiff Sulyvahn (a apparent usurper of the old royal family's homeland) and then given a pair of swords (fire and magic to match Sulyvahn's own swords) and sent off as a warrior. IIRC the armor is described as something that gradually melds with the wearer's flesh. Most Irithyll knights sent off become mindless berserkers because of the rings given to them that heighten their aggression (rings named Pontiff's Left/Right Eye); being sent away equates to exile but the Dancer isn't one of those so I imagine she might be Sulyvahn's assassin (this bit is speculation though).

The area was one of my favorites despite the fact that Sulyvahn pushed my shit in harder than any other boss and that is saying a lot. Also, he's arguably the villain of DaS3 so I'd like to know more about the shit that happened in Anor Londo and the establishment of Irithyll.
Also, knowing more of Manus' fragment dotterus would be nice since we know they're still around.

when you first come out of the catacombs to the view of irrithyl the first timeā€¦ my gawd

So I may be half right. Neato.

Also explains the bod one her. Though Gwynevere had more going on in the front.

what? I never gave a fuck about Senran because boring titty ninjas, but if there are horrifying Japanese monstergirls in it then I may have to take a look.

Oh and since we're talking about bosses.

Nyx's avatar is pretty fuckin good.
Yeah its not muh SMT but the game is comfy so eh.

That being said this boss was a pretty fun fight because it could switch its skillset in certain phases. So it'll be at one phase a physical fighter type and the next a flame caster.

This boss tested your adaptability in tactics, something that you would've picked up along the way playing the game. A 'cool' boss is a spectacle, a hard boss tests the skills you've learnt during the game.

A great boss does both.

The music was also fuckin great, you fought on the top of a tower and the fuckin fallen angel motif was just great.

Yeah, it's breathtaking. Despite my disappointments with the game, there were parts that really had me sitting there just gawking at the scenery.

A ring (IIRC) mentions Gwynevere had tons of kids who were all beloved deities in their own right and the Titty Guard ring in DaS1 mentions she had long left Anor Londo so we know Sulyvahn never got his hands on her.
Both the Dancer and Rosaria's souls can be used to make Gwynevere's miracles and (I think someone already mentioned this), the Dancer's veil is something that can only be worn by direct descendants of the old royal family.
tfw you walk into Gwynevere's chamber and no chest ahead

Sadly only Senran Kagura 2 Deep Crimson (3DS) used this theme. A shame because the monster designs look genuinely fantastic (there's even humanoid enemies that use the titty ninjas' move sets).

I loved the dancer fight
she was awesome
her long thin limbs, hypnotic and awkward, yet beautiful movements and a mystery hidden behind a veil and a mask

the whole boss is literally art

quelaag was just a boring RAWRR IM A SPIDAH BREATHIN LAVA AND SWINGING A SWORD

but i still think Dark Souls 1 was the best souls game ever made. That whole game was like a painting made by Leonardo da Vinci.
Dark Souls 2 was a canvas in which a nude feminist splattered paint from her vagina onto.
Dark Souls 3 brought the franchise back. Not da Vinci tier, but certainly Salvador Dali tier.

You're both plebs. The most fuckable boss monsters are non-explicit boss monsters from games that don't have bosses like Tetris or conceptual bosses you create with your minds by setting limits on what you want to achieve.
