ewwww

Religious socialism will always be revisionist.

I don't care if it's Islamic communism, Liberation Theology, Walter Benjamin's Theses on the Philosophy of History, Pol Pot's Buddhist communism, or anything of a similar nature: IT'S ALL UNSCIENTIFIC TRASH.

kill yourself

...

It's revisionist because 1. it bases it's socialism not on a scientific understanding of class struggle, but on religious mysticism and dogmas (which may very well have a class character in themselves) and 2. it only applies to members of a particular religious group, whereas communist revolution must be a global phenomenon or at least expand.

I don't disagree, mate, I just wanted to trot out my hat spurdo.

On the other hand, I do think that if religious socialism could get a foothold in a place where capitalism still reigned and regular scientific socialism might not have a shot, it should by all means be encouraged.

It's kind of absurd to assume that just because a particular religious group happens to be successfully operating under the socialist mode of production, other people wouldn't take notice or try to emulate their success along secular lines, or that capitalism wouldn't be undermined.
