ITT: Things in vidya that please you to a degree almost reaching the point of fetish

Do you know a feel that is in some way comparable brother?

Playing Disgaea and successfully pulling off a full geo prism chain.

Corruption mechanics are the best thing ever.
I love Shogun 2 because I can westernize super hard and corrupt japanese culture while conquering the savages that are stuck in their primitive ways.

Ledges or platforms that you can't reach, that have decorative objects on them, maybe even an enemy or two.

3 guesses for this anons favourite tag on exhentai.

Any vidya that feature supply lines makes me moist.

netorare, mindbreak, rape ?

Extensive upgrades with visual upgrades.
I played the shit out of every Warcraft 3 TD

-New game plus
-Unlockable characters
-Unlockable characters with different moves/playstyles
-Unlockable skins
-Unlockable weapons
-Unlockable weapons that change your playstyle
-Harder difficulty handled the Platinum Games way, where instead of making enemies bullet sponges they twoshot you, and also add later enemies into earlier sections of the game to mix things up

Basically anything that helps replay value and keeps things fresh.

Woah now Vince, think about that dried husk of a heart.

...

Anything that lets me design my own shit.

It's why I have over 100 hours in Star Ruler and 50 in FtD. Seriously, why hasn't anyone made a game purely about designing weapons systems? I want to make the Tiger cheaper to help Hitler win the war.

God Star Ruler 2 was such a huge step back from the first. The versatility of that game was incredible. I just wish the automation profiles were more powerful, and resource trading was less stupid so you could have fleets of construction ships being provided resources by fleets of ships with refineries being provided resources by fleets of miners.

I've been addicted to Max Payne lately. Nothing satisfies me more than pissing all over the hardest difficulty and just entering each room with no fucks to give, going hard as hell with the slo mo killing all the enemies in the places that I memorized. Also the aesthetics of the first two acts bring me close to tears sometimes. They're pretty. This part in particular, where the enemies rush you in this narrow corridor, and you flick on the slo mo, shooting the fuck outta them with your dual ingrams as the snow slows falls around you. If's fucking poetry.

HOTWHEELS THAT'S NOT THE IMAGE I POSTED

this and gun porn, like detailed reload animations

i need a new RTS

I owned that on everything and id be lying if the rerelease for a tenner on the bloodbourne machine isnt tempting me again. For something shat out with spit and string in a basement in findland by some snow niggers its my favourite 3rd person shooter ever made.

What are you a pleb?

But yeah, I do agree that SR2 was a massive step back. One of my favorite things to do in SR1 multiplayer was build hundred-ship borgs of size-10 standardized, all-purpose ships. They'd be completely unstoppable in the late-game when they were possible.

A friend of mine likes to make swarms of automated chem bombers that would fly past systems at sanic speed while gassing 100 million people to death every time they passed a planet. Another one actively reacts to everyone else's designs and tries to counter them.

Can't do any of that in SR2.

I couldn't ever imagine myself touching MP with a controller ever again. Honestly though, even with 3, MP might just be my favorite video game series ever.

...

I know this feel. It's called OCD.

...

Its a good pain.

I don't think I've ever gotten a 16-hit combo. What's your secret?

Sometimes I think RPG's are made to trigger your inner OCD.

I am 20 hours into Bravely Second and i've been constantly 10 levels above the story because i keep grinding new jobs to lvl.5/10 before moving on.
I didnt ask for this power, this curse.

Overleveling is probably the thing I hate most about RPG's. It's too easy to do, it ruins the tension of battles, but deliberately running away from enemies sucks too. Are there any games you know of that avoid this?

The opposite is FF8

I love that game but it is also a complete mess of conflicting ideas.

You can turn exp gain off while grinding jp if it bothers you this much.

It requires thinking on your feet and coming up with good strategies on how to eliminate them. When you win, or even eliminate the majority of your opposition it feels so good. In fact, I remember every fight I've had that was like this.

I always try to find the class/build in a game that allows you to be a glass cannon with crowd control for this reason.

Anything that lets you make your own class instead of choosing from a predefined one, or at least the classes are just starting points and you build it over the course of playing (souls games).

I hate classes and think that they are always mediocre at best in all applications.

C'mon people, it's 2000+15+1, we really should have dynamic level scaling in our RPG's.

It doesn't just have to be based around your level either. What if there was an RPG that leveled up the enemies based around time played, so the longer you take the tougher they get. It complements the styles of skipping tons of battles and heading straight for the bosses and the playing for 100% completion style, which are basically the two major ways to play typical RPG's. What do you guys think? Would this be a good balancing mechanic?

...

Warcraft 3 corruption is easily reversible by a dispel. All you need are priests and time/manawell.

What game?

Like a spinning attack to hit everyone within melee range or what?

Underwater levels with nice atmosphere.

I'm going to replay Super Metroid now

...

I'm sorry bro, but no game is going to have nice atmosphere compared to it. You've had the best, now it's time to retire the dream.

...

Dispel doesn't counter everything.

I meant ship automation, Def.

Autism is bad for you.

You should try Aquaria.

Why does that rarely happen in games now?

I think Darkest Dungeon

Hey OP, you will love pic related.

Because that's not what the lowest common denominator wants and we've lost of all our systems auteurs.

...

...

Any games that do this?

there is a game that does this?

Shame that rainbow shitpile Fusion didn't have that.

Designing a well-oiled machine.

Well-designed battle plans. I don't have the patience for it, but I love it when other people do it.

corruption, hypno and mind control
These are my favorites

There's the Ace Combat Triology on PS2 that has this mechanic, they even start calling you Demon Lord and The Ripper(or whatever the nickname from four was).

vanilla

...

Evacuation missions make me hard, when you have to escape the sinking ship, but you still have to get a bunch of data, extras, goodies before you do.
I love them all: chase sequence evacuations, stealth missions evacuations, especially horror evac games.

...

For what purpose when there are tons of other games?

It's such a good feeling to see a unit rout.

I never had idea or atleast I have forgotten wtf
had to test this myself with editor

Demon Path is best path.

2 words: Deus Ex

poor line delivery or silly over dramatics for simple shit

...

user, you might be a turbo fag

dude i just love hairy musclegrills

Yeah, you are a turbofag.

NO MEMORIES
NO PAIN
ONLY DARKNESS

Hairiness is debatable, but liking musclegirls is perfectly heterosexual.

what

They call you the Ribbon, because your tail art is a mobius strip.

...

yep

Foul bachelor frog you've been gone so long, what did your travels through time and space teach you?

...

w-what?

If you are talking about liking grills with pubic hair that's fine, but well defined muscles are a male quality achieved by women only through unnaturally high testosterone levels.

nothing like hyper muscles, dude, just fit enough to climb trees or wrestle gators

I've been here too long.

...

Yep, you are a closet homo.

Playing a 4x game with a trading and economy system and always getting the best deal.

burning your enemies alive was pretty fun in any game I played.

:^)

i'd show her my dick

I have perimeter 2 and the campaign makes me feel like I'm reading Evola's fever dreams.

The only thing better than cutting unfair deals to other civilizations is bankrupting them.

...

It really makes me feel clever. I am the one that decides what info is important and which that is not.

A little comfy nook where you can chillax and watch the rain and lightning, bonus if mountains or forests visible

Being able to look around you without moving your entire body. More games need this, it should really be a prerequisite for any FPS.

>the woman in charge of the hospital is a qt ara demon that headpats you after healing you
>many waifuable characters, including the ara

pardon my /monster/ autism, I'm a bit unnerved to see that there's no MG related AAA game that isn't full-on erotica.

She could show you hers as well

It's one of the more thrilling things that can happen in a game. Thinking about it, it really would not require effort on the part of the developers.

hot

I hate APB but this keeps me going since nothing else fills the void. Too bad all the edgtastic children flock to it. I'm gonna try Black Desert Online when I get a PC again, I hear it's okay with making waifus.

The good ones scale down the exp of the monsters you are grinding to the point you stop leveling.

The Ys series was always pretty good with this. You can level up in the area before the next boss fight only to the point your exp drops to like 2 points per kill. Then when you finallly fight the bosses you aren't 1-hitting them. So they have exp scaling in both directions; meaning you'll get more exp for fighting monsters above your level, and progressively less exp for lower levels.

IIRC Fable did this as well as aging. I started off young getting my ass kicked and by the time I was a haggard old man EVERYONE feared me :D

Dark Souls is my dream game.

-Slash ,cut mechanics (MGR)
-Realistic Lightsaber mode
-Extensive Character creation
-extensive Cheat codes
-Skins that have effects
BULLET TIME

Not really, unless you count bara fags.
Most homos like delicated looking things. Real men like muscles.

If you don't like your women soft and pudgy, I've got some bad news for you

kek thats a pig user

w/e that DQ game on ps2 was, 8 i think?

Amazing game.

I like the BBW tag on exhentai. But that's just disgusting.
You did that on purpose or are you that disgusting.

Why do you want you women to take steroids and stay in the gym all day?

What moron translated that?

I never said feminine women are disgusting user, I don't see any women in your pic, just a pig.
I know you're baiting me just because you want more, fucboi

Just fuck a tub of lard why don't you.

Then post a feminine woman. You still haven't

someone seems a little triggered

I did, you haven't tho.

user pls

You're both posting unfeminine women.

Musclegirl fags are becoming just as bad as the trapfags and footfags of yesteryear. Then again, at least the musclegirls aren't slovenly beasts with no self-control.

user, obesity is a health crisis, not a sexuality.

she gonna have to shave soon is she continues to take those testosterone injections

you want trap[s brah ? Sadly I only have drawn traps. You want some?

so is HRT , what's your point?

I'll post more, don't worry

Of course user, she get them straight from my dick.

Ti be fair, I don't see muscle that often as it's mostly circlejerk.

Semen doesn't carry hormones fgt.

quit posting fatties and keep posting /fit/ chicks

I like it when you have access to OP things in the early game that aren't immediately obvious or easy to obtain.

I can relate to this on a primal level.

Why is it that all these years later so many games fail to do that right? If not just fail to do it at all? So many games where I would have liked to replay on maximum nightmare difficulty except I just don't feel like starting from scratch and having to re-collect everything again.

Bravely Second is far from the only game with that problem. Basically every game with something you can grind that's more interesting than levels themselves has that happen with me. Metroidvanias in particular are especially rife with that.

Maybe if you stopped playing after one match. Battle planets, cloaked kamikaze bullshit, beam spam, hiding gates/whatever in deep space, enormous clouds of angry bees destroying entire fleets, being a literal galactic dictator and stealing people's shit using politics, if you actually learn to play it's a far better game overall despite being less of a sandbox.

user, I never said I didn't like thick girls, but there's a difference between thick and pig disgusting.

decent fucking blood and gore, because it's a hell of a lot harder to find these days

i want enemies to gib when hit with explosives, and i want them to scream bloody murder when their limbs get detached from their bodies, and even better, if they still attempt to fight after that

i fucking hate stuff like the 3d fallouts where limbs pop off like doll parts and the enemy just falls over dead no matter where you shoot them
