Because it wasn't made in the Cal Arts art style.

Same reason you think Space Jam is a good movie

Space jam is a good movie

irrelevant

its a positive father and son movie building on the already great goof troop series

I mean look at this vid, and now look at where they are in the OP
its fuckin good man

I found Space Jam to be 5/10 at best.

I found your blowjobs to be 5/10 at best post reasons retard

No it isn't.

back that up

Because it was a movie essentially about a boy coming of age. That's not typically a subject ever hit upon by children's movies.

The series itself was also sorta melancholy at times when you consider it's about a widowed father raising his only son. That's pretty uncommon to have represented in any medium, especially as having the father shown in a positive light.

One aspect about that movie I like is when Goofy takes Max to the amusement park but Max is annoyed by the whole thing. I found that one scene to be relatable for some reason.

What did you guys think about the sequel movie where Max goes to college.

It's one of those things tons of people go through, where you've gone on road trips with your family or just your dad, hit up those cheesy attractions even when you're old enough that it feels embarrassing rather than fun like your dad or parents want it to be.

It's a thin line to get that. Either they're too young and you can't enjoy everything with them or they're too old and they are just embarrassed to be seen having fun with their oldies goldies.

Ive only seen the movie once or twice as a kid, so i dont really remember it enough to talk. That said, I didnt watch it more as a kid because i liked the first one much more.

Because Goofy is probably one of the most sincere characters there ever was (at least his 90s-early 2000s incarnations).
Seeing him deal with some of the trials of fatherhood especially as a single father gets pretty surreal.

It was cringey.
flood detect

Seeing a ridiculous fuckup like Goofy earnestly trying hard to be a good father is just brilliant. Whoever thought of the idea should win medals. He's got all the silly Dad traits and his clumsiness plays into the "Well meaning Father who just misses the mark every time" archetype.

Are you retarded?

This sums up why Holla Forums is shit.

He's right. It's mostly girls coming of age.

How many?

I dunno, off the top of my head?
Every Disney princess movie where their age is ambiguously between 16-20 or younger, (Alice in Wonderland, Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Brave, Frozen etc etc), while on the boy side its a handful, the main being the Lion King. Aladdin you could argue. The problem is where you draw the line between 'character coming of age' and 'character grows more mature and is of a vague-yet-young age'. This is talking strictly animated movies.

Space Jam is roughly a 6/10
+Interesting concept (albeit ripped off of Who Framed Roger Rabbit)
+humor was pretty good, a lot of it still stands up today
+plot resembled a Looney Tunes plot, obviously a plus
-like with Roger Rabbit the whole cartoon + live action thing didn't age too well
-they didn't really explore very many of the potential jokes that were right in front of them (Looney Tunes characters are literally nothing but gigantic jokes, the movie is disappointing when you realize this)
-unmemorable soundtrack besides Piss Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" and (obviously) the Slam Jam song

This bait made me angry.

Because you see the father-son dynamic from the eyes of both characters. Goofy is not a perfect dad and often misinterprets his son's wishes, but he's portrayed so earnestly in loving him unconditionally that it's hard to see this shit in live action without the movies being too sappy. Max on the other hand wants to live his youth but comes to terms with the fact that he's still his father's son.

Space Jam is a fun movie. It's terrible in that as a movie it's got plot holes the size of the Grand Canyon but it's dumb fun. Some guy also compiled a statistic about every player and every play in the Space Jam and the blue alien basically did jack shit.

Also

Let's all agree that Pete in a speedo was the best part

...

Anyone else remember this scene as the beginning of their furry and diaper and fetish

The Slam Jam song is the only thing that is good about the movie, and even then only when combined with animu.

Still to this day, my favorite part (besides the best payoff of all Disney movies, the concert scene) is that amazing Motel.

Man, this remix looks better than it sounds to be honest

So how about that there Roxanne?

She's boring.

why does she have two moles on her face?

a small one and a huge one in the middle? Black salve incident?

Surprise this haven’t devolved into a peg lewd dumping thread yet

She reminds me of Impedimenta.

What a worthless thread.

Hopefully it stays that way.

Had a pretty sexy librarian character and that's about all I remember from it.
She doesn't have much porn of her either.

Because Goofy was a single Dad.

It all boils down to that. Goofy only has Max and Max only has Goofy. In most other stuff if Dad fucks up then theres a heart to heart talk with Mom and she gives some wisdom to patch things up, the Goofy series never had that. When either of them fucked up they had friends sure, but i always came back to them havin to work shit out. The movie basically removed the friends bit and emphasized how they only have each other.

This.

Oh! I get it now! It's a pun on Peg Leg! Since Pete's original name was Pegleg Pete!

Holla Forums literally lost over 60 UIDs in the course of a week, we got slower but the quality has gone up.

Wait.. really?

The big one is her nose.

...

space jam is not a good movie. but it is a relic from that era

he wasn't Pegleg Pete until he was depicted as a pirate (though this is his most popular alternate appearance, moreso than Black Pete and Pistol Pete (speaking of…)).
For the most part, he was known merely as Pete in the Alice Comedies and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. He had debuted under the name Bootleg Pete in the Alice Comedies

In my country, Pegleg Pete is the only way to call him and make sure people understand who you're talking about, so change "first" with "most popular".

Why does this look like cropped porn

Because it is. Aeolus06, look him up, makes some goofy no pun intended, honestly r34 sometimes.

It's like one character was cloned into different people

obligatory.

How?

I don't understand how people would actually want any of that, but I'm happy I was right on the money.

Whenever I see this picture I'm reminded of that one guy who spoke God's honest truth: out of all the Disney mainline cast, Goofy is the only one who actually does have a son. Some woman got GOOFD.COM. Someone seriously looked at in-character Goofy and thought "gawrsh that really turns me on". I guess after hearing Roger Rabbit say that in-universe, Goofy is pretty much the Christian Bale of cartoon characters this would make more sense, but still.

Wasn't Goofy usually paired up with an antropomorphic cow named Mabel in some comics?

She made me feel confusing feelings.

Honestly, though, there's something about her gesturing that is so naturally attractive. I get the distinct feeling that whoever designed Roxanne wanted people to feel the same Max felt for her, creepy as it may be when you remember she's some weird dog creature, and that is a genius fucking move. If you feel as strongly as Max does about her, it's much easier to empathize with him and it makes the story super strong.

Man, both I 2 I and Stand Out were fucking amazing. I can't think of any time other than Stand Out where the MC got so close to the ultimate goal that early in the movie.

According to kikepedia:
Clarabelle Cow (occasionally)
Glory-Bee (1960s comics)
Zenobia (1980s comics)
Ms. Pennypacker (Goof Troop)
Sylvia Marpole (An Extremely Goofy Movie)

So yeah, he gets around.

I think the nicest thing about it is that she acts as naturally as every non bitchy female teen you could find. Cartoonish gimmicks aside, everyone feels kind of natural.

I find it kinda funny that anyone here is bothering to defend Space Jam even a little bit considering it was a massive corporate shill fest back in the day. I even remember all the merchandise tie-ins and McDonalds shit.

I mean, I haven't seen it since I was a kid, but that shit was definitely made to sell crap.

It never denied being one though. It was inspired by other Michael Jordan x Looney Tunes adverts for shoes.
People mostly remember it for two things: the titular main theme/the Monstars' introduction theme/I Believe I Can Fly, and Lola Bunny. The movie itself is forgettable and everything is completely out of canon, but it also inspired the creation of Barkley, Shut Up And Jam: Gaiden, so it's still remembered fondly.

But it's a fun as hell one. We don't get silly fun anymore.

Ah ,a vid con connoisseur like myself!

The fact that it's such a shameless product just makes it more charming.

You are taking cartoons waaaaaaay too seriously, mang. Even for this place.

good ol' peg

Any sources on this?

...

I hope you're ready for the second chapter, as well as Bball TactixXx.

I wish someone could make a GOOFED.COM picture. That'd be great.

He comments throughout the workout movie of Goofy's that he's an amazing actor in the scene where they're hiding in a cinema to lay low. At the end when he's being smothered by Jessica, he also asks if he's better than Goofy.
rogerrabbit.wikia.com/wiki/Goofy

What happened to her and their daughter on the movie? Divorce?

...

...

Anyone remember those weird Groot Troot pics that was a short artist meme few years back?

...

Like, I get what you mean but blaming subpar writing on the art itself and not on the cally writers is just dumb. Plenty of old cartoons that had terrible plots were still at least competent in looking good.

It was just a bunch of jokes at the beginning to prove that Eddie was a pretty damn good cop, alongside his brother. Also there's a picture of them wearing clown suits which foreshadows how he ends up saving the day.

Thst cant be real

So what happened to the wife and daughter?

a piece of shit that drags on for too long and people mumbling into the microphone while doped up in the recording studio

Just read the comics strips.

m8, my balls have become turquoise from all the waiting. How long has it been delayed , 4 years now?

Yeah, maybe more. Keep in mind that it's a development team of about 3-4 people, they ran out of funding around the third year and are just finishing it up in their spare time now. Also the core game is already finished but I suspect they ran into troubles with the event system.

There were Mon-stars motherfucker, and it was a fine school a real fine school. What more do you want?

I never knew. I thought, since they had the money to make a port for Mac, money wasn't that much of a problem.

I thought it was interesting how we got to watch Max grow up from Goof Troop all the way through the movies where he went to college. I wonder how many other people were the same age at the same time? What's Max been up to since college, anyway?
