No. Government employees are extremely hard to fire, because they have various laws and regulations protecting them. Also unions. Firing a gov't employee can take months or even years. The Cabinet Secretaries, like the Sec. of State or Sec. of Defense have some discretion in hiring, but it's still hard to fire anyone.

Gorsuch is gonna be a long time probably. Maybe not even until summer.

I don't mind this so much simply because Trump is able to use shit like the muslim ban, or even his silence on twitter to distract the Left enough to get a ton of shit done without them noticing. Once Gorsuch is in though, it's fucking go time son.

as far as dealing with the set for life bureaucrats, if have seen docs posted here that the american education systems solves the problem of unfireable teachers by forcing them to spend the entire workday in an empty office with nothing to do, still pays them for nothing but they can be fired for misconduct if they don't show up to their empty office

Obstacles to firing public servants were put in place to end the spoils system, where every time a different party took office they'd fire the whole government and give the jobs to party loyalists. That makes government unstable in a lot of ways, but the alternative is that the permanent bureaucracy has basically no accountability to the people ostensibly in power. This is one area where I think some of the NRx fags correctly diagnose the issue.

Basically, in order to implement his agenda Trump will have to neutralize the resistant civil service/deep state. The only way to do this effectively is to reclaim the ability of the president to fire at will, so there's actually some consequence to disobeying the president. Given the ways in which the courts and possibly other branches of government will act to prevent him from eliminating this deep state, successfully implementing his agenda would practically require Trump to become de facto King of America.

The question is whether Trump is up to the challenge. He seems like the kind of guy who wants to get shit done and he has the backing of the military, so maybe he will do it. On the other hand, he's a 70 year old businessman who might not be able to commit himself to the kind of "tyranny" required to crush the inevitable rebellion. We'll have to wait and see.

The problem is total. The "right wing" patriotard military types and the businesses that keep them propped up aren't any better.

You can't fire hundreds or thousands of people and immediately find enough competent people to replace them. There are people working for the federal government, in the CIA and other departments, that are hostile to Donald Trump and other nationalist politicians. The CIA is a globalist organization, they don't want nationalist governments in western countries.

Or you can have limits on the years a top bureaucrat can stay at the State Department for example. A bit like the term limits Trump suggested for members of Congress.
