A nihilist recognizes this and says that we must an-nihil-ate the existent if we are ever to be free from the relations of capital, or authoritarian power structures, or identity categories. It may then become possible to create meaning, but on the meta level a nihilist will take it as a given that no meaning we create has any real existence.
