The biggest problem for Germany is they don't actually elect their Chancellor like America does their President. They vote for a party and the parties who form a majority coalition get to appoint their own Chancellor, and the way German politics are structured, it seems like CDU wins every election ever.

For better or worse, America currently occupies Germany and has some 50,000 peacetime troops stationed there. Let's hope that the half-German nationalist in America who's been consistently critical of Merkel's policies will help the German people more than whatever kike ends up being their Chancellor.
