Green is the opposite of red. Red is what you see after staring at green for a long time and looking at a white background and vice versa. I suppose it's not an opposite- it's more of a compliment. It's directly across from each other on the color wheel so it's got more of a connection than it has being seperate from it.
I walked across a red legged frog which is an endangered species on my Cali vacation in the redwoods. Black on flags has been a symbol for anarchism for over a hundred years now. Congrats on subconsciously picking that up if you didn't know it before.
Colours are extremely important in flags. Simply making a flag green for pepe is no good. Also, the right places a huge amount more effort into symbolism when it comes to flags. Hitler himself was incredibly autistic about his NatSoc flag and that is why it is so effective. Personally, I suggest we stick to the perfectly good work he did for us.
