The Houston area is a kinda huge area, but I don't think the main suburbs count as Houston metro for those stats.Everyone wanting to raise kids will go out to the suburbs outside the Houston metro area.

I've been thinking about this lately. The American "Patriotic" aesthetic is so compatible with Fascism that it seems almost inevitable that a legit Fascist party or movement appears in America sometime in the near future. Not National Socialist, that doesn't seem quite as compatible or realistically feasible (which is a shame), but I can see Fascism gaining popularity.
