My understanding is that TRS tried to paint them a certain way and instead of refuting it they just went with it. For example, they would say things like "the USSR was socialist" and instead of saying "that's irrelevant to the argument because the USSR's way of doing things is not what modern leftism proposes" (and yes even though both xexizy and muke are both Leninists and USSR apologists even Leninists will tell you it wasn't desirable in the late stages) or at least "STATE CAPITALISM" they just went with it.

They were Holla Forums but for the most part they were also only asking common sense questions that most people would. And Xexizy couldn't deal with it because like most of you, he can only parrot a few left-sounding soundbites and use memes to cover most of the gaps on his worldview, memes that he couldn't use on a debate.
And this is a classic problem with young lefties. They know what they're supposed to think but they don't know why. They know something about seizing the means of production, something about not liking reformism, something about violent revolution, something about central planning and so on, but without knowing the historical, sociological and economic reasoning behind these positions. So they turn them into dogmas meant to cement their identity as "radicals" and settle with it. More information becomes tantamount to putting part of your identity into questioning. They're already playing the part, they don't need to understand the role. And the logical outcome of that is that a few follow-up questions destroys their worldview entirely.
The radical chooses to be a radical first, usually for the wrong reasons, and then maybe, maybe he starts reading in order to back up positions he already have. And actually this is in sharp contrast with Holla Forums, at least some of them: Since there's no social reward to being a fucking nazi, they had to gradually move towards this position and at every turn they needed statistics on black-on-white crime and papers published in 1924 about the shape of your lips determining how smart you are to cover their flanks.
And this is how Socialism is meant to be, but without the stupidity. You're literally bringing the entire modern society and the principles by which we organize it into questioning, so phrase-mongering won't do. You have to format the disk, free yourself of all preconceptions about what radicals do or how they think, and then gradually start reading on your own and questioning on your own, without jumping to radical conclusions if you don't think about its economic, social and ethical implications.

No it doesn't, state terror is very lightly applied, because people have it drummed in to them that it's easier not to resist, and that they have a lot to gain from going along with it. Society is very, very complex, and built on many rules, and you have to think about how to set up something similar that relies on an equal or lesser amount of state terror.

If you show any signs of supporting reformism or some other way of getting towards communism that isnt violent revolution you get ostracized. Its no wonder people hold radical positions they cant defend then. Maybe more discussion of these positions is necessary even among ourselves.

Xexizy is smart and has a lot of potential in debates, though what I thought his problem was is that he yields and gives the opponent more credit than they deserve too often. Of course, It is always good to be humble, but in his debates I always notice how the opponents would butter him up in a way to make it so that Xexizy would be more apt to be friendly and let things go that really shouldn't be let go. They manipulate him.
He needs to learn how to be more aggresive when it comes to calling the opponent out, and he needs to not yield so much when the opponent says something completely stupid that should be called out.

I had a more substantive brief discussion with 'Comrade Pierre Tru-Dank' over the course of 15 minutes than the entire 'debate combined'. The primary reason being a. Xexizy apparently is young af and according to the various LP threads 'hasn't read theory' - which seems to be accurate, and there were three other people two of which were totally useless for this topic. One guy admitted within the first 20 minutes (the Hegelian I think though I may be wrong) that he didn't think Communism is feasible anymore and a socialist revolution as an adequate economic enterprise is now anachronistic, a trans-humanist (lol) who had nothing relevant whatsoever (because let's be honest the only trans-humanist revolution is going to be one where the current ruling class kills off everyone else and achieves the True Communist State via BCI's, AGI, and genetic modifications via CRISPR and ICRISPR), and a stereotypical Black guy who, frankly, derailed every fucking question or point of debate into some shit I'd give to 3rd graders if I were a Soviet education minister.

I was the transhumanist, and I'm frankly annoyed that Xexizy brought me on. I should not have been there. I offered half-heartedly to him since he was kind of distressed that he wouldn't have enough people, then he ended up pressuring me into coming, even though I straight up told him it was a bad idea. He pressured me in anyways and we ended up with that embarrassment. I got out of there as soon as I could because I knew I didn't belong.
I was under the impression that I would have some kind of place on the team but if anything it would have been better if I could have been a moderator of sorts since I was not a Marxist nor a nationalist.
Also faggots I don't support mass extermination to solve the "human problem." My whole point was that I saw it as inevitable unless there was a mass effort to prevent this.

I've invented my own meme theories to back transhumanism because I got disillusioned with Marxism (which you can find by googling me). The last bit of faith I didn't even know I had left in Marxism was lost in this debate though because of the piss-poor performance of everyone.
If Marxism can be reinvented I would be very happy, but it seems like it has so much baggage, anachronisms, and ad-hoc defenses we need to start from the ground up.

I think the problem with Marxism at this point is dogmatists who call any reinterpretation, reapplication of principles or rejection "revisionism" (which it technically is) and demonize it like Marxism is a religion and not a theory. It'd be like if Einstein's unfinished string theory was universally acknowledged as true despite it being unfinished as acknowledged by its creator and everyone with half a brain.
