Any Scots on Holla Forums?

Any Scots on Holla Forums?

What do you think of the current state of the political climate?

yeah, hate the SNP, but don't see any real socialist push possible until post independence.

irn bru tax is coming to get ya

It's fucked.
SNP have no competition on the left - Scottish Labour are desperately clinging onto blairism and the attempted leftist alternative parties such as RISE are failures.
There isnt really much happening in the left here either. Corbyn is unpopular here but there are a good few people rallying behind them.
I hear theres a socialist group within the SNP called the "SNP Socialists" or something but the party have allegedly told members not to go to their meetings.
The greens I think have potential, they just need to run in more areas (and be pro-nuclear god dammit).

Overall our left are either completely underground or overloaded with rhetoric.

It's shit.

If you don't vote yes on the next independence referendum then you should fucking die.

You mean Northern England?

...

Why are so many lefty Scots also nationalists?

Fuck off nationalist shill.

Because hanging onto the nationalists' coattails is easier than having to construct your own analysis.

They´re a green party. Being against nuclear power/weapons is one of their reasons for existing.

Is lefypol Yes or No?

leftypol is communism

being pro-nuke is a greener option than most others, including "green" energy.

Scotland yes

They should be for it on a pragmatic level, to replace coal/oil.

SNP are a bunch of assholes, found it funny when they usurped a right-wing Labour Party but now Corbyn is in power I just feel pissed off at those nationalist fucks for pissing away any real change of progressive change for muh independence

Not a Scot, but curious: what do y'all think about leaving the UK now, as lefty Scots?

It's the preferable situation IMO. If we dont leave then I atleast hope corbyn wins.

Not a Scot, but you guys seem cool.
If you go independent I might move up there to escape the tories.
