ok thats all for this week

Slade's slipping, he usually charges a hell of a lot more than that.

Thank you for doing this for an entire fucking year.

That's because he did not have to actually do anything. You can really thank me after the second year ;)

Thanks OP.

I enjoyed the New Gods special.

Thanks OP

Thanks user.

...

What?

Oh great, incoming arguments.

that was nice.

Surprised it balanced the politics well since Ollie could've done an entire tirade against Lex. Surprisingly a good series.

Nice to see this series continue.

Thanks OP for the comics.

Read the comic. It's actually a pretty funny moment.

I'm more upset it's not Jon and Damian there. Also the fact that it could possibly imply Superman cheating on Lois. He's not New 52 Superman that shagged with Wondie constantly.

I don't get why he isn't just Jon, while this guy is still WW's son but with a different father. Like, are they gonna say that Jon and Lois are dead in the future and Supes had another kid like in The Kingdom, is this some weird timeline fuckery, or is this an arc they wanted to do pre-Rebirth and just completely ignored continuity?

Also why the fuck are their hands so small, God damn.

Wow, this post came out horribly. I must be really tired.

If I had to guess, it's probably like with Marvel (or how it's supposed to be with Marvel) where time travel isn't time travel but rather universe hopping. So these kids come from a universe where so and so happened. They try to go back in time but in reality are just going to a different universe/universal timepoint.

“THE OZ EFFECT” part two! As Superman struggles with the ramifications of Mr. Oz’s identity, the mysterious figure’s origins and the long road to Superman’s doorstep finally reveal themselves.

I am I the only one that thinks Oz is Ozy? Seeing how closely he's tied to Manhattans shenanigans.

So Dr. Oz is Jor-El, if we're to read into the solicitation and the second cover.

Well that's stupid. Why would Superman even care though? They do realize it wouldn't be his real father, right? His is still dead in his universe!

That's fucking stupid and I still wish he was Ozymandias, but my worst-case scenario prediction was that he was gonna be Pa Kent, so at least we dodged a bullet there. Finally explains this page from 2013, at least. I guess calling him Oz was just a red herring.

No, wait a minute, I think we're looking at that image wrong. Jor-El isn't Mr. Oz, he's being taken by him, like with Tim and Mr. Mxyzptlk.

Oh boy

Taken by Manhattan. The post right above you just proves more that it's gonna be Jor-El.

I thought Oz was the one doing the taking, though. Manhattan's just fucking around on Mars, as far as I'm aware. Where the fuck is J'onn, anyway?
But why would Jor-El call him by his Earth name? Wouldn't he be calling him by his birth name?

I have no clue. I legitimately thought it was Ozymandias, but Jor-El would be an interesting twist. Still prefer Ozymandias though.

Whatever happened to Kon-el? I missed that son of a bitch so much.

Can't expect mainstream comic books to make sense anymore. Especially not Morrison books.

New 52 version is dead.

…So there's a chance that Pre-new fiddy two is alive and well.

He's just hiding. Stuck somewhere and needs help.

Please lie to me.

I dunno what happened to Rebirth Supes' universe. If it's fine, yeah he's alive.

I'm just not sure about Jor-El being Oz, I just can't see why he'd be teleported away from Krypton's explosion by Manhattan, but it seems much more likely that Oz teleported him and locked him up, considering he already did with with Tim. I'm even starting to doubt that it's Ozymandias, since some of the things he's said just don't make sense coming from Adrian's mouth. I read one theory that he's actually pre-Crisis Superboy-Prime, and as ludicrous as that sounds and as much as I'd rather it be a reformed version of the real Superboy-Prime, I think it's the most plausible theory that I've read so far.

I bet he's locked up with Tim right now.

Thanks DC.

Am I alone in having no interest at all in this series?

I mean, I already have the original Shade The Changing Man on my computer. What is this book offering that can compare to that?

Somewhere, out there, some fucking batfag is jerking himself off to all of this poser art.

Nothing in the bat books make any sense anymore. The art for this especially is just dreadful lazy 3D model crap. Oh how the dark knight has fallen.

Because Superdad was fit into the timeline after both Supermen fused. For all intents and purposes, this Jor-El is his father.

That's silly.

I'll never understand why any self-respecting publisher would allow this slop to hit print.

Art cost money.

Willing to Storytime?

I kinda want the shirt

Bump

This week, in DC comics:

Nice

For wat?

Unfortunately I got work today so I will try to get as much out in the next couple of hours and will probably have to finish the rest tomorrow morning.

Thanks user

I never used to be into Superman, but I'm appreciating Superman comics more. Superman fighting tigers, elephants and Luthor is great.

Kinda hoping Flash gets a new art style soon. Not really digging this one.

Thanks OP.

In that case, mind if I handle one of this week's issues? I just want to get the one that I think is probably the best story DC released this week.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #13

...

...

...

...

The end.

I read that in a british accent

Also is it just me or is Red Hood one of the better books?

I think everyone did.

Better than the original outlaw runs with Starfire and Arsenal at least.

Maybe I should start reading this comic.

I read it in a german accent.

It's been Lobdell for the writer on all of them, right? I wonder what went right behind the scenes this time around for there to be such a noticeable and consistent improvement?

Im pretty sure you can download the rest of the issues from vola.

Or the mega

Retcons and not mentioning super dumbshit from the first run.

Is Power Girl just stuck making cameos in Harley Quinn now? Are they ever gonna bring back the Pre-Crisis PG?

Suicide Squad #23

>Killer Frost is a HEAT vampire
That makes no fucking sense. Unless she instantly contracted the illness he had this whole time, which had only manifested as a slight cough, and… nope, even then, still stupid.

Is…is Huntress hitting on Dick?

New Super-Man #14

...

You know what I wanted to see? Conner, Chris and Jon teaming up.

And….Dick's the traitor. Of course.

I really want to see the Entire superman family back together.

Even Power-Girl?

Yes but not the black one

That explains why this thing is such artsy crap.

Its really "artsy" that maybe 4 pages are just "Darkseid is" on a 4 dollar book

The Newsboy Legion and the Boy Commandos Special #1

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

thats it for this week

At this point, I'd just retire Batgirl. Everything authors do with turns to shit.

Wow this is pretty good.

For some reason that reminds me of a shounen anime.

This was actually pretty nice

Is this how DC celebrates the King's 100th Birthday? By showing just how far the quality has dropped since his demise?

What's the deal with that? What is that supposed to men?

I think Scott got caught and is getting mindfucked right now. Seriously, the talk show host is Glorious Godfrey..Barda's eyes being the wrong color..the constant Darkseid Is thing..

They should've went with the classic style.

I think it was talked about in an interview somewhere. Let's see if I can find it.

So… Scott wrestling with his own inner darkness, or something equally artsy and pretentious?

He just IS. Deal with it.

The problem is that most of the guys who can emulate classic Kirby are freelancers who want nothing to do with the Big Two.

And Steve Rude, and Kieth Giffen used to do a good Kirby before becoming obsessed with Jose Munoz and erasing his own style.

Well, there was that guy who did tried to emulate Kirby in that Transformers vs G.I Joe thing…

This is not a picture of a man's agonized head upside down.
This is a picture of an angry, unshaven cat wrapped in an orange blanket.
