Start by explaining what we mean by capitalism and what we don't mean by capitalism.

There's no fixing stupid. You can try to prevent stupid, or try to minimize the effects of stupid, but stupid can only fix itself.

Depends. Is he industrial prole, or a lumpen, or small business (co)owner, or a student/kid, or a state functionary, or a well-paid specialist, or a bourgeoisie (i.e. rantier)?

They all have their reasons to support their stance (whatever alt-right is). Basical idea is to prove that their ideology doesn't work (as in - doesn't work to their benefit; rather than theoretically prove something) and present workable solution in the form of Socialism.

Of course, you need to identify correctly what people actually want and what solution is actually workable.

NB: More often than not, people just want to fit in. Which is why key to unionizing is converting key figures, rather than each individual separately.

It isn't a political persuasion as much as a post-political counter-cultural movement, so I wouldn't say you can "convert" an alt-rightist to socialism. Unless they naturally give up their worldview, it's not really possible to have a serious conversation with them.

It's weird because I see them criticize capitalism on their own all the time but they double down on it anyway. Maybe they think communism = the state wants to take all your things.
