THE NEXT STEP OF CULTURAL EVOLUTION MUST TAKE PLACE
And what better way than to meme into popularity Futurefunk and Synthwave? Think about it, back in the 1980s when Ronald Reagan was president, everyone was unified and happy, sharing similar music and film tastes.
Now? There's…nothing that really defines us from an entertainment aspect as a culture. This must change! The 80s had New Wave and Synthpop. We can have Futurefunk, Synthwave and whatever else!
How about instead of living in the past we create a better future, and make America great again.

I lived through the '80s and it was pretty nice. Nigger gangs like bloods/crips were the biggest issue we had until the wetback invasion began. But we didn't really pay the price for not gunning them down until the '90s.

the 80's where decadent and amoral trash that lead to the 90's. We need to go back to 1400's
Oliver Evans
It doesn't matter what people are saying. We can rebirth the 80's, but make them a better 80's than we had before.
Noah Richardson
Late 1800s to early 1900s (Romance era) were clearly the greatest, especially musically. There is really no doubting this.
Nathan Johnson
The only thing good about the 80's was that white people weren't listening to nigger beats.
Except for Michael Jackson, as the only notable exception.
Otherwise, I'm not sure exactly what you look to accomplish with returning to anything regarding that era. I saw Styx did a video about this, and I'm sure the thread is in some sort of reference to that. I'm sorry, but he's simply wrong about the 80's.
Quite frankly, I'm looking forward to the next 8 years. I hope this next era of the US is superior to the 80's and 90's. (The second half of the 00's sucked, and the first half of the 10's were even worse. Not too hard to beat them)
Logan Butler
We can probably thank jews like the Beastie Boys for ending that tradition.
Samuel Sullivan
Wrong. If anything returning is the sign of the culture right now, its the cyber punk films or media returning from their graves for remakes or reboots. With the basis of fear towards bureaucracy and anxiety towards an assumed 1% of rich people, them coming back kind of fits a leftist type of view towards the new politics.

There were major problems during the 1980s.
1. The War on Drugs ramped up and brainwashed cops. Israelis trained police departments and spread pro-Israel sentiment among street cops.
2. Henry Kissinger.
3. Christian Zionists.
4. Non-Jewish artists (e.g. William Gibson) expressed strongly anti-white sentiments (e.g. read the original short story version of "Johnny Mnemonic" - the hero implicitly hates "Aryan" culture, including an "Aryan Reggae" band that resembles Sting's band The Police.)
5. AIDS suddenly became a recognized phenomenon, leading to pro-gay pride and idiotic heteros blaming themselves.
Charles Brown
Come on, using that logic you can make the argument that 2007-2016 were good years. I doubt you want to make that argument.

There were some good things about the 1980s.
Personally, I liked the fact that there were lots of white women wearing big shoulder pads with pouffy hair.
There were some basically good things that indicated lost opportunities. E.g. we did not die in nuclear war. The Berlin Wall came down. That was good. But it would have been better if whites had seized the moment to retake control of Western culture.
There were some bad things too.
The aesthetic can obviously be revived.

WHAT DO YOU THINK IS HAPPENING AT THIS VERY SECOND?! Commies getting laughed at by normalfags. White people proud to be white again. Nationalism is breddy cool now. That's actually a really good point. When did gay culture take off? Was it the 70's or the 80's? If it was the 80's that might explain their fixation and why they want to steal it from us.
I dunno, the 80's were a mixed bag of white people pulling the moral majority and becoming kind of fascistic while the jews were also doing their thing behind the scenes. I made a post in one of the early future fash threads about how the 80's designs were about shapes and forms that accentuated either the natural shape of people or the natural shape of buildings, where the emphasis was to have a better body or a better building so that they styles "worked" better. So all-in-all it's a good aesthetic.

I am hoping that people can become more creative now with this 80's mindset. Or even being more able to do more experimentation causing us creators and artist to bring more to the table than virtue signaling IPs that is doing nothing but hurting our credibility. Pretty much, being able to create things and have fun doing it without having to deal with the SJW/leftist/liberals critics that judge our works for not having a proper checklist to their liking. Born mid 80s here, so since I haven't thorugh the 80s in their entirety I'll only comment based on the 90s which I lived through entirely and remember very well.
Bottom line: I'd take the CURRENT YEAR+2 over the 90s.
Sure, pop culture was absolutely phenomenal back then, TV shows and movies were awesome, gaming went truly mainstream and had an amazing boom, anime was all over the place etc I could go on and on. And yes, people were a lot more happy and blissful than today, no comparison.
But at the same time, some of the stuff which is plaguing us today had it's start (such as gender studies which started in 1993 I believe) and there were many problems which existed but weren't really felt by the general population because of the above, but they still existed nonetheless. The 90s were basically of decade of party, which made the people numb.
Also, the general political situation was much, much, much more liberal than today. We have never been closer to achieving our goals than today whereas we were lightyears aways from them in the 90s (and cerrtainly also the 80s).

you really think that kvetching about christianity has anything at all to do with the necessity of a cathedral to impose moral order in society? Do you really think going back to 1980's style liberalism is going to restore the natural order? Or you just like the shallow aesthetic because you are a hipster and a sophist. Yes it works from a nostalgia is a great tool for advertisement if you want to sell a product. Feel free to use it as a tool when creating pro-Nationalist propaganda. I have no idea. I was born in '69. Grew up in the 80s. Absolutely nothing about synthwave or anything even remotely is like the 80s. The music is nowhere close to it. It's hilarious watching synthwave kids cherry pick all kinds of pop culture from the 80s, mash it all together and then think the 80s was this amazing wonderland of never ending pop culture.
It's like they don't realize that it was a decade. 10 years. That's a long time. It wasn't a neon-filled wonderland of synth chords.
I never get tired of the synthwave kids who were never around in the 80s, pumping out endless amounts of their drivel, which sounds nothing like 80s music, so that other kids who were never around in the 80s can tell them how 80s their music sounds.

Fuck this 80s meme.
I have no doubt in my mind it is being pushed by kikes. In the early 60s in England there was a massive revival of interest in folk music and the old traditional ways, well we now know from declassified documents that LSD and psychedelic culture was pushed on this fledgling folk revival. Why would intelligence agencies want to do that? To shift the focus of the movement from a look towards the past into more new age bullshit. This synthwave meme has the same feel to me. The kikes are scared of a folkish movement and are trying to co-opt us with this 80s bullshit. Don't fall for it, keep memeing Vikings and Thor and Saint Micheal and Dues Vult, Christian or pagan it doesn't matter, as long as it's pure European culture you're promoting. The 80s were kike culture through and through.
Alexander Reed

Yes good goy never ever use that youthful energy to build anything new or valuable or transcendent. You must destroy every vestige of tradition. Viva la Perpetual revolution!
I think you might be somewhat right. It may have been originally organic and it was good propaganda for the Trump election but now it seems like kikes are pushing it to distract people for something substantive.
Andrew Flores
WHY BRING BACK THE 80s?
The 80s was the last era when the West had confidence in itself. There was an economic boom. There were good relations in the anglosphere, Ronald Regan in the White House, Maggie Thatcher in number 10. The Left was beaten back into irrelevance, their stupid ban the bomb antics a joke, feminism seen as a vicious and poisonous ideology to be ignore or laughed at, Marxist economics a joke, as demonstrated by the crumbling USSR and its numerous failed policies. It was a time when the Right was in the driving seat of politics, and was unapologetic about it.
Obviously this era can't be brought back, because it was the past, and we can only move forward. But what is being rekindled is the SPIRIT of that time, it's energy, vision, aesthetic, impetus and enthusiasm.
The re-emergence of forward looking futuristic yet nostalgic sound and aesthetic is emblematic of the re-emergence of this spirit.
This time, however, we must be wiser than before, and not let this wave of Right Wing positivity be followed by another stifling and corrupting influence of leftism that dominated the 90s and 2000s.
One of the problem of the 80s was that individualism and civic nationalism were pushed, as opposed to white identity politics and nationalism. This time, whites must not fall into that trap again. White identitatanism is the only defence against Leftist decay.
Hudson Sullivan
The problem is that we are hardly being able to relate to anything before the 80s with anything else but racially inherent sensory. The 80s is a good reference and reseting point for people of our age, plus their futurist aesthetics and the (((social dissent))) ideological seed implanted by the kikes can be used against their contemporary NWO.
Daniel Foster

Globalist tool that repeatedly crushed fascist revolutions for the sake on shekels. Maybe a bit more than today, but not much more. We just have very different demographics now. Why would you want more modern trash "music" that only serves as good background noise? We need to revive real music and real art. The things that modernism has destroyed.
Joseph James
How many of us were born before the 80s or even had significant White culture input from before that era. One of the reasons millennial libshits dare to spout the most ignorant bullshit that "Whites have no culture" is exactly because our generations were intentionally deprived from the influence of our ancestors. Are you seriously doubting that? Many punk bands aside the vast majority of "row row row fight tha powa" rhetoric was borderline apolitical and adaptable and even though that was for relatability and marketing purposes in can still be adapted towards specific goals like gassing the kikes. One of the reasons the left had largely won the 90s and 00s was because they were hamfisting their shitty ideology in iconical culture.
Austin Lee
yes and its why the i ♡ the eighty's meme is cancer because it reinforces that people cannot relate to their past and begin to build a true ethos. As I said, if you are mearly using it as promoganda tool to promote national socialism then its a great tool. However if you think its actually more then just a promoganda tool then you can fuck off. what? profound built-in perception? I don't know what you are trying to say.
you really don't understand do you? Do you really think kvetching like a jew about the catholic church has any Value? As I said read Plato's Republic. You realize the kike has no magical power over you. You need to accept the kike into your life for them to jew you. The 80's was an era where Kike's ruled the world and you want to buy that Kike Aesthetic meme. The 80's was Capitalism vs Communism, but both Capitalism and Communism are Kike ideals. what the fuck are you smoking? Why are you so presumptuous? Why are you bumping a slide thread?
Lucas Edwards
I think a big reason why people are now relating the latest timeline to the 80s might be-because we finally got the hell out of the 70s. That decade strarted out ok, but after Nixon quit, Ford got stuck with massive inflation (WIN buttons anyone?), as well as an earlier CDC fiasco, the "Swine flu". But even worse was yet to come….Carter. Recession, damn near Depression 2.0, energy crisis, the latter causing something not seen since WWII, at least due to something other than natural disasters-we had blackouts. Add to that, the culture at the time was complete polyester, figuratively, as well as literally. Leaving the 70s to get to the 80s was like getting out of a re-education camp.
Parker Foster
You kinda missed the point there though. See:
Yuppie and consumerist good goys were the cancer of that era but they were nowhere near the Orwellian leftist shitholes we have today.

Come to think of it, besides the style of the era and the economic boom, the 80s were kind of shit. It's just that everything after it has been so much worse that it looks incredible in comparison. We should really want to go back to the 40s culturally and demographically. Personally, the only things I miss from the 80s are concorde and the shuttle program. We sure have we declined.

I present you the song I will chant with my brothers into the final battle
This is 80s. If young fags want synth in your music it had better be in the mix with REAL bass, drums, and LOUD guitar. White men playing their instruments while beautiful white women dance to it. No jungle beats. No niggers. No faggots
Grayson Bell
Not really, by this point Japan was making far greater military themed jap toons, primarily with mecha. Yes en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sei_Young_Animation And this where you fuck off my board >>>/reddit/ >>>/facebook/ >>>/somethingawful/ >>>/ovens/
Thank you, it doesn't take an idiot to see how limp dicked all this recycled vaporcuck music is

At last I truly see… Thank you, user. You've brought me gospel from the metal gods.
Here is but a humble offering of pure shred for your gift to me.
The gabbertje, usually of pure dutch heritage and found with shaved heads, seem like a good match here based on visuals

Since this is basically an "aesthetics" thread now. Someone post that aesthetics synthwave music video that mainly featured the ending scene of the ova Riding Bean.

God I loved Riding Bean. Used to own it on VHS. Back from a time when animu wasn't as cringeworthy as a whole as it is now. Here's the whole OVA for you to watch.

Fuck it! Here is some more 80s goodness:

I'm not even going to say there's no good -wave music, but anyone still trying to shill for it now is usually posting stuff that's a saccharine safe, sterile version of the genres that were cannibalized in the process. I'm here to see new music but I'm here for people's (good) ideas on what is Holla Forums music, don't piss on me tell me its raining w/ this -wave shit.
Andrew Adams
Checked, and damn, that looks so 80s I can feel the back of my head growing a mullet. looks breddy gud.

Awesome man thanks, been trying to find this for weeks.
There's gonna be a new blu-ray release soon. I actually got my name in the credits by supporting it's release. Was thinking about changing it to Ben Garrison or something but decided against it. And yeah, anime really has fallen over the years. Everything's gotta have at least a chance of selling a grand worth of plastic shit to obsessive fans, or the crypto jew producers wont green light it. Which has lead to an extremely homogenized release landscape of everyone trying to copy said shows that sell the most plastic crap. Anime use to have a kind of pulp magazine feel to it. Niche in the weird but interesting way. Now days I'm basically only into stuff that from the late 70s, 80s and parts of the 90s because of that. plus the look and animation
muh film grain Everything looks too clean and clear now days. Like it was all vectorized and made in flash or something. And it's not just higher resolutions either. If you watch something old re-released in hd. It still looks likes it original did, just more defined and sharper. Not everything looks like it was smeared with vaseline and drawn by germaphobe clean freaks.
Daniel Allen
Cool to hear it's getting a BD release. Is it just the one OVA, or will there be more stuff on it?
I agree with you about the look thing. I downloaded some 1080/p rips of the Evangelion original series and the movies before the rebuild, and it still retains fuzziness even at that resolution. I rip a lot of film noir and 70s drive-in flicks from BD for upping to certain sites and the grain in those transfers is insane. I've yet to watch any other animu feature films on BD, though, and I'm curious as to how flicks like Akira turned out.

In the 80s we were all going to work smart and become rich and soon we would all be going to be living and exploring space. In the 90s we were creating "world peace" by arming the enemies of our enemies and making sure the white people knew that blacks have been opressed and race pimps need special treatment to get away with what was to come. In the 00 on we are fighting off life and world destroying "crisis after crisis". Global warming, Global Cooling, Climate Change, Terrorism, Refugees, Immigration, Hate speech, Racism, Medical Insurance etc etc all while spitting in the eyes of the suckers that fund it. Where will we go now?
Owen Hernandez
holy fucking shit the amount of shilling cuckoldry in this thread makes me think that we're onto to something 80s aesthetic with future fash i loved those threads also bump cus fuck the shills
Oliver Gutierrez
Topkek, no, it wasn't. The defining show of the era was "Seinfeld," which is one of the most nihilistic things to ever air on TV. Just about everything on TV with maybe two exceptions was bitter, cynical, and blindly materialistic, and it got worse the further into the decade we got. "The Sopranos" in '99 marked the start of TV actually being good again.
Meanwhile we had saccharine dreck like "Schindler's List" being lauded as one of the greatest movies ever made. The '90s sucked.
Justin Roberts
Back in the 70s there was a whole industry of porno movie theaters. People would line at a ticket booth to whack off. The '80s arguably cleaned up society by confining that shit to the home.

I honestly thought this thread was filled with a bunch of shills, but low and behold it's just one gigantic Christ fag who wants people to stop liking what he doesn't like. This is exactly what the Jew would do. Now be a good goyim and go back to that stupid Christian board so we can enjoy all types of music because we fucking like it.
Dylan Taylor
80's were better than now, but not better than the mid 90's

very presumptuous option. You know their are valid reasons to want to remove sodomites from society that have nothing to do with religion. They are a public health risk, are mentally ill, and prone to become child molesters. Oh you actually think a template thread where you don't produce OC is cool because that is what they where doing when you first came here from reddit? Oh wait, you didn't understand the subtly of the point that the aesthetic is fine as a propaganda tool, but that the values of the 80's where Jewish? Or are do you really think remixing other people's music is actually creation? Society would profit from building temples, long term project, great walls. The 80's was an era of disposable stucco and drywall and faux finishes. Everything was built to be cheep and be thrown into the trash, all shallow fassade papering over hedonism and that was the spirit of the 80's.

The 80s is nice because trump was super popular then which coincides with trump ascending. The movies were whiter, and the music was still music: rock was actually popular, as was metal, and even pop music was still white instead of niggers and spics eeking and ooking. New wave and more future aesthetics is comfy to think about because its a a brighter future. In the 80s the future had possibilities. Now, not so much, as marxism has so indoctrinated our people and the media has such a strannglehold on even the most marginal dissent that the demographic reversal which wouod have been completely possible in the 80s seems a struggle now. But hindsight is 20/20 and we dont have the luxury of the demographics of 30+ years ago. Trumps role is to stop illegal immigration and deport those that are here illegally. Our role is to keep doing our homework and meming a white country into the overton window. If 80s future fash can be a part of that, im down.

having lived thru the 80's i've learned a presidents actions don't fully effect America until they have left office and are no longer accountable for their actions…… it's what gives me little hope to see trump actually be effective

Do not let OP impose myopia on the possibilities. Fuck the 80's, what we need is 1776
Never forget men, you will never become a child again. This is the rite of passage of manhood. No, Virginia, sexual reassignment surgery does not make a woman into a man, and not every male achieves true manhood.
Beware this: Yearning for the pop culture of your childhood or some other "golden" age post-WWII is the siren song of the blue pill. Don't let it fool you.

80s had some of the best action movies, masculine actors and nice music rock, pop, metal, synthesizer loops and weird fashion. On the other side, it was the time when faggotry became acceptable, mostly driven by artists like boy george

(checked) I was born in 91, so I don't have too much to contribute on the subject outside of the echos of 80's pop culture I've seen over the years, but have a Lum bump regardless.
I would like to say that I think it is unhealthy to place any specific decade/your childhood on a pedestal though. Instead of pining for lost years, concentrate your energies on the present and make it the best time of your life, building up an even better future for your family. We live in a time where we can cherry pick the best aspects of each decade anyway, such as 80's action movies, 90's video games, 40's philosophy, etc, so no one is missing anything aside from the zeitgeist of that era.
Jackson King

Wisdom you have written!
His childhood experiences messed him up.
And blondes were celebrated!
White identity was struggling to burst forth.
The music is good, the story is very Cold War, but I would have liked it better with a blond protagonist.
The music isn't bad, the video isn't bad, the major problem is that the vocalist uses too much falsetto and appears to be an exotic mixture of melanin-advantaged races.
Ryan Gray
If you guys wanted a Future Fash thread, you should have just posted in the already existing one. I don't know why people keep bumping this. I don't think OP is from around here.
Angel Murphy
It's like you don't even want to start a cultural revolution.
Camden Nguyen
Future Fash threads always got heavy shilling. I think this thread is proof that our message is getting out there, because OP is probably from cuckchan making the same connections we've been memeing for about a year now. He didn't know to make this a Future Fash thread, or even post in the already existing one.
David Carter
I don't necessarily want a Future Fash thread.
"Fash" sounds a little TRS-ish.
There's enough room on the board for 1980s without "fash."
Chase Jones
Needs more 1980s Falco.
Damn it, the board won't let me post "Der Kommissar" in two threads.
Jaxon Russell
Supposed to be Romaji for Trump, I imagine.

I must admit that as someone born in the late 80's who ended up being a more avid fan of its music than my parents, I find the 'synthwave' 'futurefash' push to be rather cringe-worthy. It is good to see the emergence of contemporary artists who have a distinctive 80's vibe to them; but playing through the ever growing number of new tracks, it appears there is a tendency to simplify the decade. This process is exactly how (((they))) have commercialized and repackaged nostalgia with other eras and themes. I would hate for the growing 80's revival to be defined by these nostalgic odes rather than be decent music in its own right. Everyone is free to like what they like of course. The 80's was a far more complex decade than (((they))) would have you believe.
Nathan Sanchez
We need a comeback of movies about martial arts. Don't know why, but they ended being a relic from the 80's. The 90's didn't even have a remarkable one (Karate Kid IV was really forgettable).
Bentley Foster
"Funk" was shit when niggers made it, when the Chili Hippies covered it, when Incubus was trying to be Chili Hippies 2.0 aaaand it's still shit when kids make it electronically now.
Here's my "retro" music folder. Underrated favourite: Noir Deco. And of course I agree on Lazerhawk.

Miyazaki was right. Anime was mistakeru.

We were calling it Future-Fash before the TRSemites flagrantly stole the term. Considering how wholesale we ripped those posers a new asshole I can't say I see a reason to give up the term and let them have even a single victory. At the rate this is unfolding will there even BE a trs months from now? Probably not, all the more reason to not let them keep that term on their sinking ship.
Adrian Clark
I preferred the 90's. 80's was lifeless. 90's was woke.
Kayden Harris
Because you can lie day dream and idolize it into something its not. Same with other countries, I have seen a lot of Russiaboo's on pol, Russia is a shithole, Europeans also tend to idolize the US when its in a much more dire situation demographically then anywhere else in the west. Grass is always greener.

That is really all there is to say to these 80s threads.
At least study the time period before gushing about how great it was because you played Vice City.
Henry Flores
Every great aesthetic/cultural movement has been based on the unrealistic romantisation of a certain earlier era. To take the very best of it and bring it into the present while leaving the worst of it in the past. These selecting choices are how culture evolves.
The NSDAP were romanticising the early germanic tribes and the ancient aryans. Mussolini's Fascists were romanticising the roman entire.
Carson Smith
They at least used time periods that were beyond living memory. I'm sure any German tribal dude would have reacted with skepticism and confusion at their pretend-play too.
James Diaz
Stop being a faggot.
We're setting the stage for the 20s, we've got a future to create. Lead, follow or get out of the way.
Jonathan Campbell
True, then again, a person in the third reich had a living line of culture going back that far. We're so atomised and distant at this point we can't realistically dredge up something from a few hundred years ago and actually recognise it. Besides a lot of living people have fond memories of the 80's and the 80's were the most recent fascistic(object-nature-affirming) aesthetic to date. One that isn't poisoned unlike the NSDAP thing.
Well yeah, obviously. Then again the third reich was objectively superior to any germanic tribe so there's that.
…What? Who is this we? Who has ever said anything about the 20s?

The 90s were only good from a position of ignorance, culturally it was the great jewish push and the start of setting groundwork for social justice nonsense that we've seen in full swing the last few years. There were primordial versions of this in the 70s-80s but most of society would widely reject and ignore it, it was extremely ineffective. We are on the cusp of returning to telling them to fuck off.
Grayson Gonzalez
We need to give the 80s some high energy. It's a huge "fuck youuu" to modernity and ((trend definers))
