This. Dole was along the lines of Pat Buchanan in ideology.
Look up Bob Dole yourself. He was the only past Republican presidential candidate alive who supported Trump.
He was a bit neo-con a bit cuckservative but still part of the "greatest generation" who were a lot more redpilled than the boomers. He was already old when he took on Clinton who was popular at the time and simply wasn't exciting enough to GOTV. He probably would have been better than Bush by a bit but not nearly as good as Buchanan would have been.
